We had a bit of a search here but could not find it, after reading a few of the last posts, we wondered if it had actually disappeared
Looking at the photo a few posts ago, the small branch that it was hanging off has broken off.
It couldn't be found with a small search of the area.

Cache wasn't there unfortunately. Searched the area and all surrounding trees as well. Pretty sure this one's a goner.
Thorough search, didnt find it - this has been the case for the past several visitors... is it still here?
Three DNF's in a row - very disappointing! This one has gone, judging on the earlier photo
Came out in the freezing temperature this morning to go caching. Lots of wildlife around. Found the cache, but unfortunately forgot my pen.
Took me a second to spot this one. A couple dewy spiderwebs around, which was cool. TFTC!

Hmmm, where's the cache? Maybe our it's in that tree across the road. Oh, our maybe it is this thing 15cm right in front of my eyes

Set out for a big day caching and was very happy to back in this area once again, it was a very nice area to stroll through on a nice warm autumn's day. This was one of many found today, a bit slow at first but after finding the first couple thats when we started to pick up the pace and we were finding them one after another and making good time. Thanks again for placing all these caches.
Found on a beautiful Friday morning! It was fun looking for a cache which wasn't just under a log like most I've found in the area. TFTC!
Number 3 for the night as we cruised through the reserve. Stars were looking very impressive with Jupiter low on the horizon followed soon after by the bright moon . We scanned for a few moments before spotting the camo'ed container.

Sorry for the copy and paste log. We enjoyed this part of the track on a tandem and it was really great fun. Thanks for placing them all.
I've come out today to try to increase my fitness before heading to Bali and climbing Mt Batur.
Joined by Genghicat we're retracing steps and upping the pace. Nothing quite like a good old jog between caches to increase endurance specially after 10000 steps.
Cache was quickly located by Genghicat who casually stretched and holding onto the tree in a very suspicious way asked if I had found it yet. Grrrr!. Found and is in good condition.

Took a while to spot this one, too busy trying to avoid the spider webs and kept missing it.
Out for a big hike today to clean up some of this series. Very long day, Long walk and big sunburn

Found with nissan 65 on a few days away caching Log signed and returned to its hiding place. Thankyou for the cache .
With the weather much cooler today given Friday's storms and much needed rainfall it was off down the Hume and Federal highways to do some more of the CCT trail. Most caches were easily found, some were in need of some TLC and new logs. Enjoyed such a great walk even with the legs on fire!
Thanks to the COs. Also visited tbs i had on board along the way. TFTC TNLN. Signed team lewin or tl depending on the condition of the logs.

After a big day caching the Centenary Trail between Mulligans Flat Road and One Tree Hill by bike, then a mandatory rest day, it was time for some hiking in Mulligans Flat and into Goorooyaroo, picking up CCT series caches that didn't exist last time I cached this area (plus a couple of detours). A great and tiring day with some wonderful close encounters with wildlife and some big storm clouds that threatened but withheld.
A nice, simple one to keep things moving. Picture added for decoration (a spot near here, but not exactly here). TNLNSL TFTC

Fairly quick to find this geocache, but there was a spider web right underneath, which I was very lucky to avoid. TFTC.
Yay found! Bloomin GPS still sending us in circles but found! Clue wasnt real helpful to GeoKid!
It's been a long while since we've done a caching marathon, so today we left The Woofer at home and headed out to Mulligans Flat. We spent just over 5 hours wandering the trails, found 43 caches, and encountered lots of wildlife. We left goodies in every container that would fit one. What a gorgeous place!
The hint didn't work for Saf - she actually had trouble reaching it! But signed and replaced before heading on to the next one. TFTC!

With dty73 we had a very early morning start to see about the CCT from Horsepark drive through to Mulligans with many side trips for other caches along the way. Started out to be a very cold morning not getting much better with the strong and cold wind through most of the day. TFTC, all was found OK here today and our last cache of the day now and heading back to the car. So very tired now, SO tired!!!
Out with Decrypter for a walk in Mulligans Flat and to find a few caches.

After first completing the CCT Series from Hall to Northern Exposure back in May 2016, almost a year has gone by since I've found another CCT Series cache and I'm hoping to eventually complete the entire series within the next few months.
We waited until the morning rain subsided and went out for an afternoon stroll through the bushland, picking up a cache or two as we went. In general each cache was found relatively quickly and in good order, had a few issues with GPSr accuracy but after a minute it settled down and pointed right to the hide! Apologies for the generic log, by the end of it each cache experience became one!

lol ACTChil almost bump his head on this one.
A group find with the Capital Crunchers back for stage 2, weather was a bit overcast which was a perfect for the walk, took us about us about 4.5 hours with a couple of detours to do this part of the SST. Terrain quiet flat and unfortunately couldn't bring geodog along but enjoy the company of KityCatch,Darzee Di , ACTChil Joolay , McKtcj and Darkside dan.
excellent day out.

Found on a lovely morning in Gungahlin on a GC/GCA mission. While getting some of the new GCA puzzles in Mulligans Flat, we decided to get a decent portion of the CCT caches. We went to the most eastern point of the reserve and then worked our way back to the car. Similar to a lot of the hides in other places on the trail, they were all very well hidden and well executed. It's a very lovely area that makes for a good experience when finding the caches. TNLNSL. TFTC C2M!
Day six in Canberra with BettyBoo3747. Deadly treadlies back out and headed to the northern suburbs for a couple of trails. We did a bit more of Section 2 of the CCT, and a few JackaKid caches, along with a few extras along the way (this means you - Fore!).
Strange white sap all over this tree. We carefully edged our way to the cache.
Getting better with these hides.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11306. Day 6 of our two week Canberra Holiday with Robmc. After a few days of walking it was back to the bicycles and time to have a most enjoyable ride collecting more caches along the CCT through Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve. We went as far as we needed, past the old boundary and old coach road for a few more - we met up with the section we had finished last time and that was the turnaround point. This was a lovely area and it was good to see quite a few pretty water holes along the way.
We parked our bikes under the larger wattle and then I noticed white oozy, sappy stuff dripping from a lot of branches. Not very pleasant to watch. Looked elsewhere and luckily we found the cache away from the oozy sap.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys

Headed out today with SpecimenX and ZimbaW to walk the CCT trail from Mulligans Flat to the Goo. These caches have been on the radar for some time, and even though it was forecast to the warm, it was too good an opportunity to pass up! Found most of the caches in line with hints, but a couple eluded us in the end. By the end, we were hot, thirsty, tired and sunburnt but happy to have walked the trail and grabbed a bucket load of caches. We still have a few to grab, but perhaps on a cooler day! Loved seeing all the flora and fauna - especially a number of lizards, dragons, and rosellas. Huge thanks to Champs2Monkeys for the trail and giving us an excuse to head out for a hike and exercise.
Ninth for the morning at 1045, and the shade was welcome by now - the clouds had burnt off and it was a hot hot sun. Quick find fortunately, thanks C2M.

Plans were set in place with ZimbaW and AngelG27 to make an attack on the CCT series between Mulligans and the Goo. Lots of laughs and a heap of caches made the hike through this scenic nature reserve very enjoyable on quite a warm day!
Most of the caches were easy finds although a few had us searching for a few moments. Apologies for the generic logs!

#903 Eigth of twenty five finds on a beautiful sunny Sunday's caching around the Canberra Centenary Trail and the Border Track. Nice find after a short search. TFTC
Found this whilst out on the dirt bike and learning how to use my new Garmin. Great way to spend part of a Sunday. TFTC
My second day caching in the ACT this long weekend. I down here for a rich caching ground and found myself walking deep within Goorooyarroo and Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve. Surrounded by mobs of kangaroos, swooping magpies, rosellas, and three echidnas! A total of 29km, 64 finds and 3 DNFs. Unfortunately I also found out the hard way that winter is over and the UV rays are burning again.
Hopefully I will be back someday to continue on the caching trail.
Thanks for all the caches.

Some time to myself before switching jobs so I decided to use the nicer days to get out and grab some caches.

It was delightful to see this patch of bush close at Canberra. [Mulligans Flat has](https://mulligansflat.org.au/) a fenced area and within it Eastern Quolls brought from Tasmania are now breeding within the sanctuary. On top of this, it was such a lovely calm sunny day to walk along the tracks.

Me, TheSkype and 4 geokids had a brilliant day out in Mulligans flat Reserve, after a 12+ km walk finding caches. The weather turned out to be excellent after the current rains, and some parts of the reserve had water literally seeping out of the ground. TFTC.
#1681 The Green-martian & I decided to knock over some of these caches in this great power trail. The weather was on our side with not a cloud in the sky. 5 hours, 12 kilometres, 35 caches, leaving some for next time. All were easy to find. Went through a number of gates to be on the right side of things. Thanks Champs2Monkeys.

Came back up here to complete more of the CCT trail. We started in Forde and made our way over to Goorooyarroo but didn't quite complete it as we had to be out by 3pm according to all the warning signs as the reserve closed!
Every cache was found, a few were a little worse for wear which I have logged on the cache page.
Thanks C2M for this part of the trail, it was a great day out on the bikes!

I enjoyed this trail, Loci612 and I rode bikes. For me it was the first time riding a bike in almost 10 years. I was very sore and tired by the end of the day but had a great time. TFTC
Found today on a longish walk from Hall to Horse Park Drive (after Goorooyooo that is) - about 25km in total.
Departed at 6:25 and made good headway. Slowed down a bit during the day, but got to the end half an hour earlier than projected
With 80ish finds, and 1 DNF, it was a pretty successful day.

Great trip from Goorooyaroo through to Mulligans Flat today. We left one car at Mulligans and took the geovehicle to start up near the Federal Highway (south eastern end of Goorooyaroo). Quite a few muggles, walking, running and cycling by us. Some muggles passed on their own, others were in pairs and the largest group was a family of 8! Thanks for the trail. Dark Passion Play and I are really enjoying the outings! TFTC
Did a huge amount of geocaches today with BlueIris. This cache was part of an 8 hour geocaching hike. I signed the logbook DSD or Darkside or Darksidedan.
We've been eyeing off this trail and the long weekend seemed like the perfect time. The weather was glorious, the bikes behaved perfectly, no DNFs, all coordinates were spot on. The only disappointment was our research led us to believe we could ride both section 2 and 3 in a day. Most of section two was a breeze but then the definition of cycle changed to extreme mountain biking, so the going got tough having to push bikes up and down rough terrain, sadly time beat us and we had to stop caching, just to make it to Hall before dark. Apologies for generic posting. We really appreciate the hard work that goes into setting up and maintaining trails of this size. Tftc
Back again this time to finish the series, we had some family down from Brisbane so off caching we go. Thank you for all the effort in placing this series.
Finally a weekend free again for Loki! After a run of working weekends, Loki had a severe dose of cabin fever. Took the bike out today to finish the S2 and Goorooyaroo section of the centenary trail (well mostly). Stunning weather and a great day out.
This took quite a while to finally locate, when it popped up right in front of my face! Parks guys passed me here again, while I was 'just stopping to make a phone call'. From here I detoured up to the border track before returning to the CCT. Thanks Champs2Monkeys

After a mornings caching expedition to Mt Domain with ZQX, I dropped him home, and then came to Mulligan's Flat to get some more exercise as I'm preparing for a 24hr rogaine next weekend. I walked the Centennial Trail to the North Eastern corned of the wildlife refuge finding the CCT - S2 caches along the way, then returned via the more northern caches I hadn't yet found. Most were found quickly but a few took minute or two to locate. A quick find here. TFTC.

Today, I had a big day of caching planned to try and get my numbers up. I still had a few caches to find before Saturday to make it to 3000 so I thought the remainder of the CCT trail would help me out. My plan was to start at Forde and then follow the trail all the way down to Horse Park Drive. That would give me 44 caches. Unfortunately, my time was pretty tight as I had a driving lesson that afternoon so I only had about 3 hours to do them all. I loaded my mountain bike in the car and then headed off to the first cache.
The first cache was found very quickly, just as the next were. In fact, I managed to find almost all the caches within about a minute of arriving at GZ. This meant that I had enough time to pick them all up before meeting my dad at Horse Park Drive. All in all, it took me about 2 and a half hours to pick up all the caches in this section of the trail. I also managed to nab one extra (InFore!mative Stroll by Fore!) which I had gotten GZ for on another day.
With no DNFs, I ended up getting 44 caches for the day. Thanks to Champs2Monkeys and AngelG27 for keeping the trail running. All caches were found in good condition. Sorry for the cut and paste logs...

After a few weeks of planning, and a number of attempts to align calendars, this weekend I came down to Canberra and the ACT area for a big weekend of caching with The Rats and steeba. On bikes, on foot, and in the car, we targeted a number of series and Power Trails placed since our last trip down here. The weather was perfect, the company exemplary, and the numbers achieved exceeded my expectations. It was a very long and tiring weekend, but of course it was also extremely satisfying!
Saturday was a big day. A very big day. Probably classified as a huge day! A massive amount of terrain was covered via various means. We went through suburbia, we rode along trails, we pounded the pavement. We found caches in several series, mostly along the Canberra Centenary Trail and it's surrounds. What a buzz! I really enjoyed the varying terrain, a few hills, some lovely wooded sections, and some amazing views. There is nothing quite as satisfying as going to bed knowing that you are thoroughly exhausted, and really earned your sleep!
Thanks to the all of the cache owners for placing their caches. Sorry for the mainly generic logs.
Cheers

[Teal]Came down to Canberra for a weekends caching with Hoojar and steeba. Taking advantage of the perfect weather conditions we had two great days riding our bikes around some of the newer powertrails that dot the city and suburbs.
Super Saturday had us racing around town from first light till the last rays of the day. We did different trails, different types of caches different types of hides, we used different forms of transport but most of had a great day.
Thanks to the various CO’s for placing these caches. My apologies for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the fun we had finding them.
