I think this one is no more - the seat is gone - I think the CO needs to check!
Lots of muggles, wondered if my lack of find could be due to a freshly cut seat at gz co-ords?, trees trimmed and chopped and a brand new concrete footpath?
On our tour around Tassie we made here a quick stop.
After a while looking we can find the cache. A good hint and a tricky hide.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

My first DNF in Australia and Tasmania. I am good in DNFs, so why should it be different here.
Not much people around, so muggles could not be used as an excuse. Only ducks and a bunch of curious swans kept an eye on me.
Found a good hidding place, but no cache inside.
Ciao

In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Stopped in the park for some lunch. Wandered over towards GZ. Took a bit of a search before the well hidden hide, was discovered.
Thanks Tassie Trekkers for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Finally found it last time I couldn’t. Tricky hide.
Found with CatCasper at about 12:30. TFTC.

While traveling around Tasmania we decided to have a quick look after dinner. Quick easy find. TFTC
It was our last day in Launceston and we had a few hours to kill before we had to head off to the airport. We decided to go for a walk to Tailrace Park and grab a few caches on the way.
We eventually found the tricky hide. TFTC.

In Tassie for a few days with 6hinemoa2 for some fun caching in the Southern state. This really was a tricky SITuation. 6H2 went to find an implement to access the cache and then it was signed and off. thanks Tassie Trekkers. A fave of course
Out with Sorceysal for a few days of caching fun in Tassie . We had just driven off the boat after a long night in the recliner lounge and were heading to Ross via Launceston.
Of course we couldn’t go past a cache along the way.
Not where I thought it would be.

Very pleased to log a find. A tricky situation indeed. Despite school hols, a completely muggle-free location. Good one and on great condition. TFTC
Arriving at GZ and there seemed nothing obvious. After sizing up the SITuation we eventually tracked down the nicely hidden container. TFTC
I had been here a couple of times trying to find this sneaky little cache and now have finally found it in a sneaky little place. TFTC.
I tried for this cache yesterday !!
But a persistent muggle was sitting in this situation !! [:o]
So I wandered off to find one of the other caches here
This morning I returned to find the SITuation clear
And trying hard not to break a nail,
soon had the cache found
This is a great little park full of fun things.
And hard to believe that the building across the road is a power station !!
It is, and it was turned on again today.
I was mesmerised by the bubbles in the bay

Hi there Tassie Trekkers.
We are camped at Old Mac's Farm, near Launceston (EIEIO ). We are planning to find some geocaches around the area in the next few days. We found your cache **"A tricky SITuation"** at 11:06:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18508).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 11 caches (& DNF'd 0).
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious hide location. Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Enjoyed a nice walk around the tailrace on a lovely sunny afternoon with the geodog. Found only cobwebs on the first cursory search, but soon had cache in hand after a more thorough inspection. Loved the cache. Thanks Tassie Trekkers.
Catching up with some late logs.
Day four and our last full day of our Apple Isle visit with maccamob picking up a few caches while heading from Devonport back to Launceston.
We didn't see many ducks or swans but there were many pelicans for us to admire as we searched for this cache. We can't remember but we think that it was maccamob who came up with the goods this time,
We added our names to the log, took nothing but left behind a favourite point.
Thanks Tassie Trekkers for the cache.

I had found this one in its previous incarnation, so didn't take long to locate again. TNLNSL. TFTC. Will be giving this one a favourite point, now that it's become GC.
Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers, at 1610. With a name like that, we were on a roll. A FP for a good hide and because a few of Mary's favourite pelicans were close by. Our thanks to Tassie Trekkers.
On a less than 24hr trip to the home state for a reunion (everyone was looking old except me of course lol). This park was near our luncheon venue so had to stop. A quick find whilst weighing up the Situation. Mugged were not bothered with this part of the park. TFTC
Coming back to this cache, due to not sure if i logged it but then i saw Badnuz05 and my name in log on the 28/1/2017.... silly me what an idiot..... found it....
Great hiding spot very tricky the SITuation helped us quite a bit as a clue TFTC
Signed the previous cache when it was in this location and it took a while to get around to doing this one. In the area for an event and walked across to finally get it sorted while I was here.
Hello Tassie Trekkers thank you for the cache.
I had come up to Launceston to attend the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event. After catching up with the early birds EeePees, Lil Raffa and I wandered over and found this cache of yours.
By the time I got the app in the phone to work your cache had been found, so all I had to do was walk along and make the place look pretty.
We then returned to the larger group of people as a lot more cachers had arrived while we were away. After the event we went off to find another cache in the area. Before finding many more on the way home.

Had 'sailed' from the deep south in treacherous and icy seas with Lil Rafa and AlbyDangles to attend the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event at Trevallyn Tailrace Park, for some piratey fun and cacher catch-up.
After warming up with a coffee (and a tot o' rum for some), we three wandered over and shared a find of a very nice hide right here.
Thanks for the cache and the adventure Tassie Trekkers.

I'm another finder whilst attending today's nearby event. A nice tricky hide. SL TFTC Tassie Trekkers
Today I travelled to a nearby event with EeePees and AlbyDangles. We ducked off from the event for a quick visit to this cache and EeePees soon had the cache in hand. Very nice little hide. Thanks you for the cache Tassie Trekkers!
After the event I popped over the park and collected this one with Tazscout, it was a quick find and we added our names to the log before moving on.

We had a nice short walk to GZ and found the well hidden cache. Thanks for this one Tassie Trekkers.
#6245 - 14:40; Dropped by the Tail Race Park today to collect a couple of GCA moveables and grabbed this one on the way around. Tried a couple of possibilities before coming up with the goods, but all was safe and sound and in good order. TFTC Tassie Trekkers

Great playground - "Best slide ever" according to the experts in our family. And a great cache too. Tftc.
Thankfully an easy find for us today, especially given the gorgeous weather, but nobody was lurking where we needed to be
Many thanks Tassie Trekkers from the Wacky one

18 September 2016 02:42:44 After a visit the near by facilities headed over to this cache. After checking one possible location changed thought, After finding cache sat down to log it. Great little spot, funny all the birds seemed to drift down with the current yet never sure any land back upstream.
JABs.

Like others, we remember finding a cache here before. I cant remember if it was it the exact spot. No matter, its a good hide so glad it is here again. I enjoyed watching 'Mr Percival' and mates swimming around as I sat and signed the log. Right, better go and drag the kids away fro the park. TFTC
Beautiful spot on a beautiful day even if we are looking at the mud. We think we have found an earlier cache in this position some years back. Assume that one is now archived.
Bought ourselves a delicious milkshake and headed out here to enjoy them and grab a couple of caches. This was our first one and after Mr kevosaurusrex easily found the right kind of hide in the wrong place, we quickly found the right place and the cache a cool hide and an easy find in a lovely park we hadnt visited before! TFTC:)
I had to take a couple of minutes to ponder this tricky SITuation but got it in the end. Nice hide guys. TFTC
Called in to this park when we were in Launceston a bit over a week ago to catch up with some logging and take a break. Didn't think to check if there were any new caches in the area and left not realising this one was there. Felt fairly stupid when we realised the next day. Made sure we stopped in today on our way to Beauty Point. A quick find of a nice hide. Great spot to relax and watched two swans with their 2 fluffy cygnets cruise on past as we signed the log. Thanks.
Tftc great hide ! And we even had a go on the giant climby slide thing while we waited for some muggles to leave fantastic park!
A quick find in a reserve we've visited many times before. Found a similar one near here once before so let mr sharnie's tribe make the find seeing as how he missed out last time TFTC
No pelicans to be seen today (nor seals either) but accurate co-ordinates made for an easy find. TFTC !
Grabbed this tricky cache on our way back to Hobart. Deserves a favourite. Have visited this lovely park a number of times locating caches and moveables, always happy to return. TFTC
We were passing through Launceston not really planning on any caching around town as the Tardis was operating in 21-foot motorhome guise. But this popped up on the radar as a quickie knowing (a) there was plenty of easy parking and (b) we'd found it's predecessor so it would almost be a find without GPS assistance. So it was on both counts. Pelicans were performing, ducks were not. TFTC guys.
