TFTC nice spot on an afternoon of tassie hunting with the boyfriend. Will come back later with a pen.
I was in Launceston for a few days while visiting Tasmania a few weeks ago and i am finally getting around to logging thet last few i seemed to have forgotten and this was one of them. I really enjoyed seeing this reserve with ots memorials of the previous wars etc and particularly the polish memorial as we have sort of connections with the Polish plight in WW2 , having neighbours who came to N Z as chn and were in the Chn"s camp at Pahiatua . Thank you for bringing me to this reserve . all was well with the cache . I took nothing but photos and left nothing .
Happy to get my first trackable...Thanks For The CacheINFORMATIONFind (EST)/SL Time:2M/10:00TODAY FINDS/DNF:1/0Finder Note: All SYSTEMS GO ON THIS CACHE!
Thanks Tassie Trekkers for hiding this cache, I needed a find for today to update my calendar and find streak. This is my find #1524 at 06:28 on 27/4/2024. Least we forget.
During our beautiful two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Tasmania by night ferry. We pick up our rental car and drive to Launceston. We arrive early and still have plenty of time to explore Launceston's Cataract Gorge. This is the first cache we looked for and was quickly found.**Tassie Trekkers**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. Last night we had the ferry to Tasmania from Geelong. Picked up our rental near the ferry and drove to Launceton where we will be staying for one night. We arrived very early. Luckily our room was already available. After settling in we went to explore Launceton and the surrounding area. First stop was this Memorial Garden which was near our hotel. After some wrong signs we had the right one and thus could log this cache. Nice place visit. Thank you very much for this cache.

We are visiting from Brisbane, and I went out this morning for a walk in the delightful weather. Launceston is such a pretty city. Everything here is ticketyboo. TFTC
Magnet is still strong but lid has become detached. Replacement container might be needed.
My great grandfather Thomas Broad served as part of the Second Fortieth and came back with missing fingers. He passed before I was born but he was tough as nails. Thanks for the cache and Lest We Forget
Found it in a flash! We're getting the hang of this now. Good spot and no spiders
Great spot! Logbook was a bit hard to fish out of the container, but is still dry and has space left. Cheers from Canada!
A quick stroll around from the historic bridge to this one where the cache was located in the 2nd place i looked and the log was signed at 15:02 on Wed 21/6/2023.
I must get back to this area and finish off the rest in the vicinity earlier another day as it is a nice walk also.
The logbook is fine and dry.

Found on a stroll on Easter Monday around the Seaport area where we are visiting. Lovely spot. TFTC
Really nice walk to get here from the cataract gorge car park. Some beautiful views. Quick Find despite the very close proximity of a Mini Muggle!
Thanks for maintaining the cache

Found it after a walk down the gorge. It was beautiful and reminded me of the gorge of the Ardèche where I am from in France. It took me back there TFTC
Today The X-Trailers and I travelled around Launceston visiting parks and walking around the city.
We had a great day which went too quickly.TFTC
