I have reached a part of the year where I have lots of days that I would love to find lots of caches on. This means driving trips or walking trips to area that are not easily reached on a one cache a day basis. Today was another walk, this time In Mulligans grasslands to visit the new line of caches along the border. It was another small group walk with Sacada, Aquillus1, Contesta, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Isopeda and Albida33. We signed each log as MM24 for Mulligans Mayhem 2024. There was a brief rain shower while we were out and about but the real storm waited till we were home.I managed to leave two of the old CCT caches out in the middle of the reserve, so today I was happy to be able to visit the final ones. Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN49864.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2007 Compass Rose Silver A#75**Albida**
Out with Contesta, albida33, Aquilus1, Sacada, Kittykatch, Joolay, and me for a spot of caching before the rain comes in. Cooler than yesterday. All caches found quickly and in good condition unless stated otherwise. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Find # 13129Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases Avenged a previous DNF today All but one found and in good condition. Many thanks to DARKSIDEDAN for placing CCT - S2 - Lizards Home for us all to enjoy. Your contribution to the game through the placement and maintenance of this cache over the years is appreciated.
Somehow I managed to convince my muggle besties to go for a walk around Mulligans Flat today for some caches. The weather was absolutely perfect for a leisurely stroll, stopping every now and then for a snack. I even ended up convincing one to create an account!!! All was in order at the cache, and it was replaced as found, including the cute construction of cameo Thanks DSD for maintaining these caches!
Nice little hidey hole! Last cache of the day for us too - six out of six isn't too bad for a morning's work. TFTC! ??
Find number 13098 at 11:39:29AM on Tuesday the 26 March 2024Second full day travelling around the nations capital and what another glorious day it was. Spent most of the day on the eBike in the Mulligan's Flat Nature Reserve, then back to camp for a rest and cleanup before finishing off the day with a Snapper & Co fish and chips dinner at an event at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Yarralumla Twas a great day for a ride with PamJ and gmj3191 in the sticks around this magnificent reserve.**Thanks for placing this cache DARKSIDEDAN**---Nominations for the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards** are now open and will close on **17 April 2024**. Find # 8,588 for me on 26 Mar 2024 at 11:37am. This cache was found on our Canberra Mega adventure. After leaving Melbourne with PamJ in our little caravan, the plan is to stay a couple of nights at Bemm River, then a few more at Pambula before cruising into Canberra. This cache was found as part of this journey. Today its the Centennial Trail. Thanks DARKSIDEDAN, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Out on the bike primarily for the trig find, but enjoying all others that I can find along the way.
Visiting from Adelaide to see family for the festive season, and today its time to tackle more of the CCT and surrounding caches here.Found this cache and signed the log. Many thanks for the placement and the ongoing maintenance!
Came here 5 years ago and DNF'ed... today I avenged myself and found it pretty much instantly when I got to the coords. TFTC!
Nice to knock off some more CCT caches while in the area. Was tempted a bit by others on the way back but have left them for another day.
All good with cache and contents. At least one lizard at home in the cache plus some other creatures. Thanks for the hide Champs2Monkeys

#524 With hopes of clearing out a good portion of caches in Mulligans, especially those ones further out DELTA SQUAD assembled. We trekked for approximately 15 km over a 6.5 hour period. Upon exiting the reserve we only had one DNF, a very successful day!
On our way back towards the entrance we passed these few on the way, funnily enough Turtle only found these ones a month ago, so he missed out on these finds today. Thanks for placing and maintaining these ones on the CCT

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Investigate the situation and either restore the cache, or address any other issues, such as correcting the D/T rating if necessary.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by DARKSIDEDAN and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Found with Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and Nibletricecakes on a fabulous walk around a corner of Mulligans Flat. This one was out by 12m for me. TFTC.
fitzy_1965 and I headed into Canberra this afternoon to catch up with nibletricecakes and GLISS! for a spot of caching on a glorious winter’s day.
We decided to take a walk through the back part of Mulligan’s Reserve to grab the caches in the far reaches. Fitzy_1965 had already found the older one out this way but nibletricecakes, GLISS! and I could not just walk past them LOL. The loop we did was rather pleasant with us seeing a fair bit of wildlife as well as walkers and bikers utlilising the trails.
All the caches were found quickly and easily today unless otherwise stated. A great afternoon had by all.

A beautiful winters day to be out walking with Fitzy_1965, Minniek and GLISS!
Having not been to this end of the reserve before, I was able to cleanup with the many caches available in the area. We came across a gorgeous wallaby, a bunch of kangaroos and a ton of lone bike riders! Everyone enjoying the sunshine in the reserve today I am sure I will need to be back again at some point, as there seems to be a couple of puzzles in the area begging me to solve them. Watch this space! Thanks for enabling a wonderful afternoon with friends. Took a loooong hunt before we managed to get our names in this one, but we got there. Thanks for the cache.

*ftf* after maintenance
What an adventure. Found it, and had a great time.
The spot was perfect for camouflage. At least that's what I’d thought when you picked the spot. I couldn't imagine that anyone would ever be able to see it in these surroundings. So there it sat, confident that it was hidden from the world and safe from danger. Unfortunately, you had not anticipated that others may be looking upon it from other angles, and now they were stealthily descending towards it’s hiding spot.
It's always good to bring a slower friend with you on a hike. If you happen to come across zombies, the whole group doesn't have to worry. Only the slowest in the group do. That was the lesson we will all learn one day.
"Explain to me again why I shouldn't cheat?" he asked. "All the others do and nobody ever gets punished for doing so. I should go about being happy losing to cheaters because I know that I don't? That's what you're telling me?"
Thanks

Cache has been checked and the previous needs maintaince for not being able to be found is incorrect as the cache has been found dozens of times since then.

This one took a little longer as coords where a bit out and there were lots of logs. About to give up and reading even more logs for helpful hints I looked up from my phone and something caught my eye. I had missed that. It is a little off the coords and at the end of a log but more the bottom end.
An impromptu bike ride in Mulligans Flats this afternoon. Did a shortish loop with lots of caches to collect, 14km and 4h for 21 GC caches and 3 GCAs, some really nice ones out here and a very lovely scenery. Found all but one GCA cache and had a lovely afternoon of excercise.
Thank you Champs2Monkeys for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

I headed out for an exercise walk with D who'd previously found this one. We parked in Forde and headed into the reserve. We arrived at GZ and I started searching. Soon I had CIH, about 15m from GZ as has been reported in previous logs. Log signed and all replaced and we started heading back. A ranger in a ute passed us and stopped a little further up the track, so we stopped and had a bit of a chat. Soon another ranger drove up, we'd met this one a few times already this year while out on walks and we chatted briefly. Continuing on our walk we encountered another pair who were trimming branches overgrowing the fire trail. We walked 7.2km. TFTC.
CCT - S2 - Lizards Home was transferred from Champs2Monkeys to user DARKSIDEDAN
Don’t think we would of hound it without the hint! Thankyou
Out for what was going to be a hour long walk on the first day of 2021 before a nice brunch we found a few reasons to stop along the way and turned brunch into lunch!

The GeoKid and I rode this section of the CCT today to collect caches down to the point in Goorooyaroo that I got to from the Horse park Drive end last week. Great weather, lots of people (well, it it the weekend) and even a couple of shingleback lizards. A nice slow ride to the south-east (stopping every 200m for a cache) but a quick ride back from the end.
This cache was a straightforward find at GZ, although as others have mentioned we located this about 13m from GZ. Hint is good - thank you.

Out for a stroll around Mulligans, lots of baby wood ducks and swampies out today
Found it but coordinates say we were 13m from the location. Hint was helpful
I dont think this cache is here. The ground has pools of water all over and I searched at the end of the logs to no avail.
Not sure where it is? May not have survived the rain? Pretty wet and boggy today.
Walk at Mulligans Flat today and time to go geocaching! We mostly did one particular series in the attempt to clear it. So thanks Champs2Monkeys for this series! all caches were in decent condition except for CCT - S2 - Deadish and CCT - S2 - Old Coach Road. the first is waterlogged and the logbook is slime. However still manged to sign that. The cache has no lid and a plastic bag is not going to protect it for that long. CCT - S2 - Old Coach Road Is completely waterlogged and is unsignable, my pen just died. Mind you that one was definitely harder than the others. But Thanks to Champs2Monkeys for this series! TFTC!!!
Walking past couldn't help but try and find it this time. Found it rarely easily. TFTC
Lots of good spots for the cache but no cache. Pretty sure it's gone. TFTC
Out for a walk after work to not find this cache. Lots of feathers in the trunk but nil cache that I could locate TFTCwill try again at a later date
À great Sunday for caching in Canberra, started out very cold, but turned into a perfect day. Did lots of kilometers of walking on and off track and could have saved a lot of time by taking the pushbike, but really enjoyed the walk.

Headed back out for another search with the geofam. With thanks to the hint from BonEm we found the replacement cache very quickly this time around. It was about 6 or 7 meters away from GX according to our iPhones, we had been focusing our search at the wrong one last time.
Thanks for the quick info and maintaining this one BonEm!

Multiple DNF for many months, maintenance reported over three months ago but no apparent response from the CO.
No evidence of cache while I was out here today.

Thanks to BonEm who just sent through a hint to the location of the replacement cache. I’ll have another look when next out in the reserve.
With BomEm on a Mtb and caching ride.
There was evidence of Gz animal disturbance.
BonEm replaced the container and 1 meter from original.

Lpud and I think the "lizard" ate this cache (chewed up pen left behind) so we decided to put in a replacement cache to keep it going. The container has been hidden close to where we think it was originally placed, but in a different spot. Cache on people.
Cache not found, and evidence that lots of logs have been removed from the area recently (marks still evident where they lay) including at gz coordinates
Suspect that the cache location has been removed from the site along with a bunch of other, now absent logs and stumps
7341 Located by baby&Mrs gopher as we started this section of the CCT trail. Too cold for lizards this morning. SL Tnx Champs2Monkeys.
Set out for a big day caching and was very happy to back in this area once again, it was a very nice area to stroll through on a nice warm autumn's day. This was one of many found today, a bit slow at first but after finding the first couple thats when we started to pick up the pace and we were finding them one after another and making good time. Thanks again for placing all these caches.
Sorry for the copy and paste log. We enjoyed this part of the track on a tandem and it was really great fun. Thanks for placing them all.
TFTC! Cache had taken on some water in the recent storms, but the logbook was well packed and dry.
Out for a big hike today to clean up some of this series. Very long day, Long walk and big sunburn
