DNF. Couldn't look for too long though way too rainy at the moment. Saw all the previous DNFs but we thought we'd give it a try anyway.
I was out walking while my car was having a light bar connected. I initially approached from the wrong road, and thought I might have to enter what looked like a private residence. A check of the details and a quick peek over the fence from the car park, and I knew exactly where I needed to be. Once there, I spent a few minutes searching before finding the cache. Thanks to pjpantelis for the cache, and something to do while waiting.
Almost too easy
Still a nice quick find. Some very vocal birds above but too high in their nest to see what they are.

Out for an evening walk for an easy find once I was on the right (or is that left) side of the fence.. thanks..!!
So i made the excuse that i had to go to the officeworks next to this park. And of course came and had a second look for this cache. One step, two steps and "oh look here it is". How i missed it the first time i dont know. But thanks for the cache.
Of course I arrived in the area that did not provide access and had to retrace my steps. However once approaching from the correct direction I soon spotted the container and was able to sign the log. TFTC
Cant believe I missed it last time! Geodaughter found it in seconds. Then we had a kick of the footy. That is one solved for this weekends challenge.
I should have trusted the coordinates and the hint as I spent way to long searching on the wrong side of the fence. TFTC
I managed to spot this one straight away,
I covered it up a lot bettter,
Thanks pjpantelis [:x]

This was our last one of the day. Quite a few places to hide a 'naturally camoed film canister'. It has now lost its camo and is just sitting quietly in the corner of the fence. What a random little park. Thanks for the hide.
Easy first find on a days acheing with my nephew who found straight away . Wasnt very camouflaged. Tftc
Got it! Broke the rules, too. Parked at office works and jumped the fence going back
Who can resist a quick find when you are out and about. Less than 100m from shopping destination so a quick detour and find. Tftc
Have been eyeing off PJ's series since first getting into this. And now we've found one! Looking forward to finding the others if they're like this. TFTC

I was out caching with Burge this evening around Kingston attempting to get the increasing number of new caches in the area under control. We managed 8 finds all up, but it was slow progress with about 5 DNFs. This was our final stop for the evening and it brought our find to DNF ratio on this series back to 3/3. We were trying to search here without disturbing the neighbours but the dogs in the adjacent property were going crazy at our presence. Thankfully it only took us a few moments to locate the hide but this one is probably best attempted during daylight hours. Thanks for the cache, pjpantelis!

Once we found the correct approach angle, the Chief was right on to it.
Thanks pjpantelis.
Chiefton!!!
Thanks pjpantelis.

Went searching first thing this morning for this one. Coords seem weird being on someone's fence, searched for 40mins for this one
This took me a little longer than it should have because I overthought it. Once I cast my eyes in the right spot the container leaped out at me.
Interesting little reserve here, it looks as if it is a vacant lot which has been vacant for a VERY long time.
Thanks for the fun pjpantelis.

Initially parked in Officeworks carpark until I read the description and hint properly. Looking at the satellite map, you could tell the cache was over the fence or perhaps the coords were off. Not the case, around the corner I went and found the little reserve with a cache tucked away at the back. Spotted very quickly. Interesting camo. TNLN. Thanks for placing this cache pjpantelis.
First solo cache chase after we were introduced by friends today. Great hide!
Tried finding on my own. Maybe another time with my 2 small hunters. Coordinates in my ph kept moving, I was in fear of getting freaked out by the greenery
Tftc! Found it with Don0110, was looking on the wrong side for the first 20 mins
Finally dawned on us to look on the other side of the fence as it appeared it was a private residence with a big LOUD dog! Thanku
out and about in my local area to pick up some caches that I just haven't got to. I have actually driven to gz before put i actually had not one pen on me. I suppose I could have gone to office works!! so I returned today with the geodog and teen. This was quite well hidden with natural camo that may not have been there before so a good hide. thanks for the cache pjpantelis and also for your series. being out in the area i noticed some empty areas that could do with a cache or two (hint! hint!) or maybe I should get busy and do it myself!
This is it! This was the last time I had to be driven to a cache by my parents, EVER! My driving test was the next day, so I guess it was no certainty, but in hindsight this was indeed my final ever cache found after my parents drove me. Of course, today was also a necessary P366 date.
I heard about the initial dramas with this cache so I came prepared knowing where I was to go. A little nudge was required from a previous cacher but soon enough I had my hands on the cache.
Thanks pjpantelis for a nice little cache!

Like I am sure many others I ended up on the wrong side. In fixing that I found this odd little park not good for much at all, except maybe for hiding a cache!
Second visit. Rushed for time last time. BBQ duty outside Anaconda so slipped around quietly. ( got that barking dog last time - cachers beware )
Quick find once had cache brain in gear.
There and back with no bark this time thanks for the cache.

Find #2013
Had a spare morning on a pleasant Labour Day public holiday so headed out to tidy up a few around Bayside including the new Trammed By Horse series. This was the first of 13 finds for the morning including the satisfaction of 5 that had previously DNF'd. When I tried this one orginally I fell for the obvious red herring and didn't question where I needed to. Today I took a different approach and despite a loud barking dog I spotted the neat camo and soon had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache pjpantelis.

An outing tonight to grab some this series that had popped up recently in one of my previously cleared out areas. After getting as close to GZ as I could, I found that there was a fence in the way. I checked the hint and worked out that I was in the wrong place, So I walked around and made the quick find.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

There were cockatoos squawking as we wandered up to GZ.
No trouble spotting the container and with the log signed everything was popped back ready for the next finder.

I was back in the area of this again and thought that I would give this one ago in the daylight hours after going to have a look in the night time hours, the crunching of leaves under foot awoken the big sounding dog next door so I decided to leave .
This time there were no problems and I was soon at GZ and with a short search the cache was found.

Tftc good find with mark9375 after no. 4. Visible from outside so i think that the camo has been slightly moved. Looking forward to the leap into bayside event at Sir William Fry Reserve. Thanks PJ
Find #161 @ 3:56PM This cache was also on the to do list after school this cache found us including myself and maffn in a nice little park tftc pjpantelis
After attending the Victorian geocaching awards today I still felt like a bike ride so headed down this way again to get a couple I couldn't last time.
I came down here last weekend and got muggled out. Unfortunately last week I didn't read the hint either so that didn't help.
Today with the updated coordinates a nice easy find was made.
Thanks pjpantelis for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Tried this as an FTF in the middle of the night it was released but had no luck and it has been bugging me since. Was in the area tonight planning for the Leap Year event next week and couldn't resist having another go. With adjusted coords and a useful hint, we grabbed this one almost straight away. A nice little hide and well camo'd. TFTC.

Perfect weather today so headed out for another bike ride down this way where quite a few new ones had popped up recently. Unfortunately the awesome weather brought out the muggles as well so 2 searches I had to abort. Oh well, that's ok, another excuse for a bike ride.
I started looking for this and then the muggles in the house decided to come and work on the garden right next to the fence so I decided to abort the mission. Strange area for a cache, I noticed a few pieces of broken fence already on the ground. I hope it's not cachers reckon some poor innocent persons fence.
I'll be back no doubt.

With the new information which is now available I returned to the scene of my earlier failure.
It's always amazing how you're ready to make assumptions and create boundaries, which, if another perspective is considered, simply turn out to be wrong.
I know this, we all know this, but it still happens.
Anyway, my new perspective lead to a quick find, and I became the second person in the log book.
Looking at the next two in the series, I decided to leave my car here and explore this next part of Highett on foot.

So glad you found it, I was worried reading all these DNF comments. but I hope you guys get another chance at some stage to have a look. It's not buried but it may require a little bit of digging around my first cache so any feedback of how I could execute better is always appreciated. Might leave another this afternoon somewhere in the area!
Searched for half an hour but had no luck. There is so much rubbish in this area that it could have been one of the empty bottles but I wasn't going to pick them up without protection.
Was a bit unsure that the coords were correct as ground zero was someone's gate in the fence.
Thanks for the hide though as it adds another one to the fun. I'll be back to search again another time.

Surprised this hasn't been found already, I headed here after dropping EB Nano off at school. On approach I was met by Annoying Tarbit.
We searched along the fence line where the coords take you, we searched in the garden alongside the building but we could not find the cache. 30 minutes down an unanswered email to the CO and it's time to move on to the things I need to do today.
I hope this cache has been placed before publications and is in place and the coords haven't come from Google earth, if not then congratulations on a terrific first hide that is elusive to this and seemingly other hiders. Well done
I will watch and wait

I spotted the notification this morning and was a bit surprised this hadn't been found already so as I was passing southbound on my way to work I made a late call to pull in and take a look. I parked up at just about the same moment as Earthbound Chief and we had a bit of a chat whilst all the while looking for where this one might be. Both our separate devices were indicating along the fenceline (or even in the neighbouring back yard) but we scanned quite a large area in the general vicinity. After maybe 15 minutes of searching I admitted defeat and headed off to work to leave EC to carry on alone. No luck this time but I can see that I wasn't alone in that fate this morning. Thanks anyway.
*FTF* at 1.58pm on my second visit.
I had searched this morning without any luck and had noted the dnfs before and after me.
I emailed the CO and he replied just as l pulled up to an appointment in Mornington.
Needing to go to another appointment after that, l let him know that if give it another go after lunch and use the extra information he had given me.
I searched again, high and low. I expanded my search across the property as far as KFC and the storage company. I searched again along the building line. All to no avail.
Despondent I emailed the CO again and asked if he could call me and help.
I then retired to my car hoping he would call. While waiting I had a A-Ha moment and within minutes I had the well concealed cache in my hand and I was signing a blank log book.
This is a very good first up cache, with very good camo and pretty well spot on coordinates, with a little twist that makes it harder to find. It is an example of the assumptions that one makes and the need to ignore those assumptions.
Thanks PJ for the caching adventure and fun

Looked for about 20 mins, but like the others before, I drew a blank.
Could the CO please confirm the coordinates?
As it is, it's on private property with no mention of approval given.
The area around GZ has been searched by quite a few people.
Something doesn't feel right about this one.
Hopefully it's just a clever hide, but an owner comment would be appreciated.
Thanks anyway pjpantelis

Was curious on the way home from work. No find today. Didn't want to tamper or encroach on anyone's property lol
