Waiting until the miserable wet weather passes before I attempt the climb to replace. Too slippery at the moment.
Still working on rebuilding the unique container. I need to source a specific item. Shouldn’t be too long.
Temporarily disabling as I have removed the container for a fresh coat of paint and a little bit of a face lift.
I had a 7.5 hour solo drive ahead of me today from Ballarat - Canberra!
But I obtained the coordinates for this puzzle yesterday, and being a T4 and a lot of favourites like it's friend cache, I was super keen to come check it out!
Parked nearby and the first obstacle was actually getting to the trunk of the tree! It's a thick tree and I took the hard way in through a fallen branch. I soon started the climb and quickly had the cute container spotted! Awesome!
Absolutely fantastic cache, I thought it was really clever how the puzzle was "solved" and the cache related back to another one of your hides. I miss climbing trees as well and there don't seem to be many around here so enjoyed this! Big favourite point from me!

Found. Whoa.....what a climb. Milo was found alive and well. My boys had a great time locating him and singing the log. TFTC
And this is why I’m not a cat person. Milo why would you do this? Did Baxter scare you? After cursing for a moment I completed the task at hand and signed the log. TFTC
Found with Cybergran V and her Muggle Hubby on our great adventure to Ballarat for the grand opening of the new GeoTour.
Oh Milo you silly pussy cat.
What are you doing up here? [:o]
Lucky for you your good friend told me where to find you or you may have been up here all night.
TFTC Glanville Girls. Any excuse to shoot up a tree is a good one. Thanks for the excuse.
I think I owe you a fav when I earn one.

Having retrieved the info to find this cache, it was just the perfect type of way for dalerious to end our caching day, by clambering up a pine tree, meowing like a cat, having a discussion with this very cute cache.
Thanks for the entertainment it gave Muggle Hubby and I as we watched his antics.
Definitely a favourite cache from us, loved your ingenuity in creating both Baxter and Milo.
But now it is time to head to our accommodation and ready ourselves for another big geocaching day tomorrow, including the launch of the GeoTour.

Whoa! Didn’t read attributes and we’re NOT expecting a tree climb, my 11 year zoned up there and signed it though!! TFTC
After meeting your super mate Baxter, we aborted our plans to come find you and heading in a different direction to the plan. That's the beauty of geocaching to follow the adventure and having a geocaching partner who is also keen to enjoy the journey.
At GZ, you were quick to spot and as I am allergic to cats (!), RoamingHowie gave you a pat from the both of us.
Thanks Glanville Girls for your awesome caches and looking forward to finding more!

It’s the 1st of December and the advent calendar has begun. Now that KristysAdventures has joined the camp we sat around solving the Christmas tree geoart while waiting for the rain to clear. Now that it’s dried up we are off to collect the trail.
Having discovered Baxter we now felt we needed to go and find Milo. So we changed the caching plans and diverted in a different direction. Milo was soon spotted but no saucer of milk was going to coax him down. So up I went to say hello. Another great cache!
Thanks Glanville Girls for the cache.

Searched everywhere just to find the first container, definitely not there we think it’s stolen ️
TFTC. We were heading to Ballarat for an event this evening. Leaving Maryborough a little early we decided to try to find Milo. We had visited Baxter quite some time go and knew where we may find Milo. Found him and tried to coax him down. Hans went up but Milo would not budge. Left a message and made way back down. Milo appeared happy so all was good.
Another fun weekend assault on Victorian caches with Trigger_Fish where many caches were found, many miles were covered in the geomobile and some miles were walked.
Another tree climb, Trigger_Fish did this one.
Thanks for the 'puzzle' and cache Glanville Girls.

In the area to lend our hand to a CITO. Unfortunately, the rain made it quite a short event but we managed to get some done. We decided to stay in the area for a while and see if the weather improved. This is one that we managed to find between the showers. Great to find Milo at last. Thanks for the cache. Thoroughly enjoyed them both.
Up in the area to help out at the CITO although the rain certainly put an early finish to that. OHC, Geoturtle and I decided to hang around and hope the rain would disappear. We will see who wins, the rain or us. Anyway, this is one that OHC wanted to do and as it was nice and close, it was a good place to start. For one that has phobia's, OHC did well here. The cache was soon located, retrieved and returned. Thanks for another great cache.
Today was the final day of the 2019 Bromance St Arnaud FIFO adventure. The serious cachers (Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus, JeznDez and I) headed out at sparrows with some a little dusty after last nights birthday celebrations for Seff.
We figured we would grab a few interesting high terrain Ballarat caches early, then grab some bacon and eggs for breakfast before heading out for the day.
This was an interesting puzzle, but I have been caught out by these deceptions before and soon enough knew where to go. I love a good tree climb and this climb was fun. A great container which has obviously had a lot of effort put into it. There was even a ramp back to the roadside to help me get down out of the tree
Many thanks Glanville Girls

The Bromance (seffnjarah, Crookedpete and Swellerfungus) conducted a successful fly-in-fly-out mission from Brisbane to Melbourne for last year's mega event at Parkville, and decided to return again this year for the The Bromance Mega FIFO Adventure 2019. With the addition of Dez of JezNDez as the all new-and-improved Bromance, and sayWOT? joining us as caching 457 visa holder, the expanded team flew in for 3 days of caching around Melbourne and regional Victoria, with a visit to the St Arnaud Mega thrown in.
With a trip out to the Mega yesterday, we had returned to spend the night in Ballarat in some rather spiffy accommodation. While the rest of the group had a Sunday morning lie in, Swellerfungus, Crookedpete, Dez and I headed out to grab a few caches before breakfast. After a nice sunny day yesterday, the morning was cold and drizzly but that didn't deter us from working our way through The List.
I had managed to obtain the corrected coordinates for this cache and this was the first stop for this morning. Crookedpete was first to scamper up to GZ and signed "The Bromance" in the logbook to save space. TFTC

A tricky little puzzle, but fortunately one of our crew cottoned on to what was required before traipsing to other caches. Thanks for the puzzle.
Baxter was home today and sent me on my way to milo’s house. Alas. My tree climbing days are over though. Couldn’t rescue milo. But this is a great area. Thanks for puzzle and the guidance too

Solved this puzzle a year or so ago but hadn’t got the chance to find it, stopped y this evening to make the easy tree comb and a cute little hide. Fav point from me.
On my trip from Adelaide to Tasmania. Today was a big day out, I headed from the Grampians (halls gap), to Ballarat with a few detours along the way. With a few target trail caches to pick up along the way, all the caches in my to do list were found and a total of 95 caches were found for the day.

Having found Milo’s friend Baxter some years ago, we just happened to be in the right area to check on Milo today. A cute container that only required Mr Harrowang to access and SL at 3.25pm Everything was in purrfect condition. #6418 TFTC Glanville Girls
Found this one today with the help of one of our favourites, Baxter! With the lovely rain that's been gracing our gardens lately, this log is now a bit soggy, and I can imagine Milo retreated to the trees to avoid the wet grounds himself!! The kids wanted to come and have a look at Milo but his feet were most certainly planted here so they will have to suffice for a photo of this one! Great craftsmanship on this one too, we have really enjoyed your caches!! TFTC, SL
Glad B was along to log this one we had a great time visiting Baxter and Milo, quality Father and Daughter time together. TFTC

What an awesome cache yet again, after attempting thus one the other day without the right information, today I got a little help from the friend Baxter. These are awesome Glanville Girls you have definitely done well with these. TFTC
Milo was spotted today so hubby did the honors and went up to try and convince him to come down, but he has his feet firmly planted in that tree and refused to come down. We left a note and left him to his hiding. SL TFTC
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. This one has been solved for so long and finally we were in the area to make the find. Great cache construction. TFTC
This took so long for us to work out but after 3 attempts trying to figure it out we Finally found Milo

Today I headed off to Ballarat with biggles1024 to attend a couple of events, this being one of them but also stopping along the way to find other caches of interest.
Now with the events over, it was time to head for home but we had this stop to make before doing so as the coordinates for this one were retrieved some time ago.
We arrived at GZ and looked up until we spotted what was needed to be found, the accent was made and the log was signed.

SteMicMitSar and I headed out early to today to go to Ballarat for a CITO and an event and also find caches of interest in the area. We've had the co-ords for this cache for 2 years but hadn't been in the area to make the find. Today, as we started to head for home, we made a short detour and made the find. Another quality cache and a favourite point from me.

Ah Milo...I've had you on my solved list for far too long so with limited time in the area I made a special diversion to swing by and find you. And found you was! Nicely done Glanville Girls, have a favourite point.
I found Baxter earlier today so Milo had to shortly follow. I have to say I'm very impressed with not only the caches but the two names chosen for the geopets. Great little climb, perfect tree. TFTC!

Out on a run with ahomburg today, with the plan to do Pykes but with windy conditions too high we decided to tackle the Ballarat region instead.
Having found Baxter last year it was great to be passing by to finally find Milo. Really liked the puzzle and the fun retrieval. Nice construction.

I headed out today with SedgwickDave with great plans to hit Pykes Creek Reservoir and all the caches on it. Unfortunately mother nature had other things to say and with 35 - 40km/h winds, we decided it was an adventure for another day.
We had gathered the required numbers for this one on a road trip to South Australia, but it wasn't until today we had the chance to find this one and find it we did. Very Cute

I have been looking forward to meeting Milo for quite some time. Having solved the puzzle a month or so ago, having met Baxter a few days ago, I was saving the best for last. Milo! I'm going to assume, given her flat face, that Milo is a Persian like Monts. I will admit I was ever so slightly tired after my mornings tree climbing, so I was very happy to find out that Milo wasn't stuck too far up, and was easily accessible. TFTC Glanville Girls

*The recent celebrations of Christmas in July around Ballarat, resulted in our geo-map being tastefully decorated with an excess of green and blue baubles!
Today we had the opportunity to exchange a good number of the colored baubles for smiley tokens.*
Having consulted Baxter some time back, we had a nice hot milo in mind, rather than a chilly cat up a tree, with a head full of water. Sadly the log is saturated again, perhaps a new o-ring is needed?
Thanks Glanville Girls for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Logsheet is falling apart due the moisture in it and the bison is missing it's seal. Becoming difficult to sign.
Milo has made himself so comfortable now in his hiding place that no amount of coaxing and petting could get him down. Unfortunately i didn't have a replacement log or bison seal with me so signing the wet logsheet was almost impossible with the pen i had.
Thx Glanvillegirls for a well constructed and hidden cache and clever puzzle, was fun finding Milo today. Cheers

Baxter didn't let on to Milo's whereabouts when we first met him, so this time we got the out the desk lamp and did the old bright lights in a dark room style integration, don't need to go into the gory details but needless to say today we met up with the mysterious Milo, signed the rather damp log and added a favorite point to this great cache, Our 100th and 30th of the 31 needed for our monthly mystery challenge.

Having visited his friend, Baxter, I decided to pay Milo a visit. He is certainly an anxious little fellow, but I was able to gain his confidence and he allowed me near enough to pat him. I can see why he and Baxter get along so well.

I did manage to sign the log, but is sopping wet and needs replacing.

Find #1407. Spending Australia Day doing caches nominated in the 2016 cache of the year awards. We overthought the puzzle for Milo and became very stuck. Geohubby doesn't like things beating him but with little time to solve it before we made the trip here he had to give in and ask for a hint from the CO. Granville Girls were very friendly and helpful and for that we are very appreciative, so thank you. With their help (and Baxter's too) we were onto a winner. At GZ it was remarked that perhaps what Milo needs is a fireman with a big ladder and perhaps some milk and tuna to coax him down. Geohubby was the hero today though, he (minus the yellow fire suit and ladder) got to Milo without too much pussy footing around. All Milo requested was our autograph, I guess he enjoyed the view. We appreciate the workmanship and effort you went to here. It was a real pleasure doing this cache (easy for me to say as I remained grounded). Thanks for the cache and congratulations on the nomination Granville Girls. A favourite point from us.

This was one of the cache I visited, however my physical condition, and the pretty red party dress I was wearing on this visit prevented me from attempting to retrieve this cache today. I did spot it and can see what it has been nominated for the Awards. I will have to return with some more able caching buddies.
I was in the area to pick up the odd cache nominated for the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards, and stopped to pick up a few extras as well.

I have been on a puzzle solving mission for a few weeks to try and turn some of the blue ? in the Ballarat area into yellow smilies. The day was pre planned a number of weeks ago but when I looked at the weather for Friday a few days ago, I was very worried. Oh well, it won't stop me. The morning was nice and mild until the sun came up and then the rain started. I had a little help on some of the puzzles and others I was able to solve myself.
The rain was heavy and it had been wet for some time so I was a a little worried about finding this one. I parked very lose by and went out to make the observation of if I could do this one. I decided I could even with the wet day around me. I got soaked doing this one, but it was worth it. A nice follow up to Baxter. Signed and returned as found.
**Thanks for this puzzle cache, Glanville Girls** [^]
**Cache container and log good in good condition**

I have been on a puzzle solving mission for a few weeks to try and turn some of the blue ? in the Ballarat area into yellow smilies. Milo! How did you get there?! Luckily hubby is a fireman!!Cache number 499, a pretty successful day most of the caches we have found today have all been Glanville Girls and they've all been brilliant! Thanks Michelle A fave point from us.
Another find by the McPhail family
Another find by the McPhail family
After the first couple of finds and a lovely hot coffee to warm us up it was off to hunt for other caches in the Ballarat area. Travelling with my good friends The Tritonz.
This guy was on our list and parking close by the find was soon in hand, signed and returned.
Chris does not believe in walking if you can drive so we drove. This is not the first time I have been with these guys and driven down a rail trail or walking track but in this case it was a bush track.
This is not the first call out to rescue a stranded moggie up a tree but this guy is a little different in that he did not climb higher or scratch or bite the rescuer. Well done and another F.P. if this keeps up I will run out, as the Phetlerns have stated recently it was a day for awarding points for some great caches.
Thanks Glanville Girls for the cache.

This cache has been sitting solved in the GPSr for quite a while.
We rarely have any need to go to this side of town but targeted it today to get the special souvenir.
The cache was again wonderfully made and the number of favorite points reflect this.
Got to the cache easily enough and down again safely.
Thanka for the great cache.

A really fun cache out in the bush.
Dad made the climb to this one for us.
Thanks for the cache hide.

Found after a push in the right direction by chooknchunk, after not getting the help from Baxter. Arrived at the coordinates and soon had the log in hand. Now I'm off to an event in the Melbourne CBD. Thanks for the exercise Glanville Girls.

Having asked Baxter about the co-ordinates for this cache, we had them stored ready for when the time was right to find Milo. After attending the Trackables 101 event in Ballarat today, the time had come. Yet another awesome construction - a definite favourite from us. TFTC Glanville Girls.
Puzzle was the easy part, getting to the cache not so easy, however on talking with the CO at event, problem solved. Fav from me, the cache is awesome. Thanks again for feeding my geo passion.
Very fun solve and hide. After doing Baxter earlier in the day, we knew we should divvy past and find this cache too, just to see what it looked like. Since I had solved the coordinates, I delegated DreamyDragon to retrieve the cache, it's his favourite type of hide by far. Another great design. Well done. Tftc.
Having found Baxter a little while ago, this one had been on our to-do list ever since.
I had promised 6yr old boo09 that she could grab it for us, knowing what was involved, When we got there, boo09 was very happy to do so, Mummy (me) was not quite as keen on her making the grab! She did manage to get it with help from Muggle Dad to sign the log. Loved the puzzle concept and loved the hide. +1FP well earned!
I'd solved a bunch of Ballarat puzzles a few months ago when completing a 31 Day Mystery challenge. I had found my 31 but still had lots left that were solved but not yet found.
With the rain and snow holding us back on trips the last 2 days, I was determined to ignore the cold and grab a handful today while over to find Dory.
Muggle husband and I decided to hit Vic park in the morning (kids ditched us for Pancake parlour with their grandmother!) to grab a couple before the cinema then afterward we were joined by boo09 and we headed NE of Ballarat city for a couple more and back to Vic park again. Despite the weather and time limitations, we managed 5 Puzzles and 2 Trads for the day including several tree climbs.
Home to PJ's & a hot choccy now! TFTC Glanville Girls!

After spending the arvo at the Cinema, my sisters opted to head home to the warmth while I stayed with Mum (becca85) and Muggle Dad to help find some caches.
We had a great afternoon finding some very fun hides despite the FREEZING cold!

TFTC. Finally had a chance today with clear skies and a dry base to visit Milo. Saw him pretty easily from the arrival at GZ but had to employ the youngest GeoRetriever to sign the log as my upper mobility skills are still on the repair. This is the reason I like Geocaching, a well thought out puzzle that's not overly hard and just needs a little thinking through and at the GZ an inspiring cache hide that has taken effort to make and place. A well deserved favourite point here.
After a lovely chat with the co at a recent event, I finally made the time to take Nugget out to find some creative caches, so of course we started with Milo. It was a quick find and Nugget was keen to be the one to sign the log for us. Thanks for the cache, the time and effort you put into keeping things interesting is much appreciated.
We are the area today specifically for our milestone cache, find 1000 and we are aiming for Baxter being that cache. So with a few more to make it to the magic 1000 mark why not do the related sister cache Milo on the way. We were not disappointed we did either. After we parked the car in a safe spot we walk down to GZ. The cache was spotted quickly. Wow what great work the CO's have done here. The kids were all so excited to meet Milo. Those that were big enough all got up for a close look and the younger ones had to settle for the photos that I took for them. Thank you Glanville Girls for a wonderful cache and a definite favourite points from us. We can't wait to see and meet Baxter
Well it was time to move onto puzzles and on a dry day it was perfect conditions to gain a little altitude.
So where is Milo? Well Baxter told me last weekend at the event and said to make a return trip to Ballarat asap.
Well I did as I was told.
Unfortunately I dropped the lid of the cache whilst airborne so a return trip to ground and back was necessary!!
Thanks Glanville Girls

Out and about with jenno3 and Sean.75 grabbing a few that require a cheer squad!! Yay team!! What a lil cutie!! Tftc
Solved this a while ago and sent out an s.o.s to kenare and Sean.75. Brawny took one for the team and kenare and I enjoyed the scenery (no not ass) tftc
Jenno3 asked if I could come along and help with the retrieval of the cache, I was only too happy to help out a geobuddy so i said yes. A lot of thought and hard work goes into these caches. Keep up the good work Glanville Girls, I love your inventiveness.
This was a great little cache. A very unique way to get the co-ords, but that was the easy part. Now for the retrieval.... I'm certainly getting a workout here today. After a few stumbles, I finally had my name in the log. A great bit of construction here as well !! Thanks for yet another great cache. TFTC Glanville Girls
Been to the achievement event nearby and picked up a hint for this one.
Definitely a favorite from me.

Thanks Glanville Girls for the unique cache and thanks Baxter for his help. Spotted the hide and had help to sign the log. A favourite point awarded.
Late entry: found with Cherad. Thankfully Cherad had worked out the coords for this one because even though we had found Baxter, I was at a loss as to how to find Milo. The Geokids have really enjoyed these caches and in return we are rewarding them with favourite points. Thank you for your efforts, they are much appreciated.
