Great lookout! Found on a group adventure with pehucat and marryallthepeople and many kids
Comparatively this was a very quick, safe find compared with the last one! TFTC
Nice lil find just before a NIGHTMARE walk down to Poets Block. Wow it was wet and I was unprepared!! Tftc.
Having just found a Little Green Visitor I was keen to explore along the path to see where this nearby cache lay. As I approached GZ a large dog barked at me from within a nearby property, but that was the only muggle in the vicinity today. It didn't take very long to find the cache after groping around a little and out it came with a rather large spider attached to the canister. Hmm, arachnophobes wouldn't have been very impressed and could possibly have screamed loud enough to drown out the barking dog. Luckily I like spiders and gently shoed her off so that she scuttled back under the safety of the River Stone, then undid the double cache container to get at the log. Nice and dry and soon signed, I then returned the cache, without an attached spider, to its hiding place and headed back the way I'd just come to seek out another find. Thanks to trails trails trails for placing this cache and to wb1116 for taking over its ongoing maintenance. None needed at the moment .
Nice walk down to the river. Pity the Hutt River trail is closed just before SPLASH!
#7362. I headed up here today to pick up a few caches. Great weather at the moment and nice to be up in the Hutt Valley. Nice views from up on this terrace looking out over the river below. The dog in the nearby house was bit noisy. Sat down and after reading up I knew exactly where to go. Nice instant find. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thank TTT for putting out this cache.
# 1694 One of the first times I have been up this way. What a great little walk along here with great views. Pity about the gorse. Cache found easily in the first place looked. Be back to get the one I walked past another time. Cheers trails trails trails.
I had scouted out this one a couple of weeks ago so I knew where it was (and discovered the shortcut near the end of the road). Came up here this evening, parked up and headed straight for the cache. Nobody around (except for the dog in the last house) so it was easy enough to pick up the cache and sign while sitting. Replaced and headed back. Day 43 of my 50-day streak attempt. TFTC
So my WENZ Mega weekend adventures are drawing to a close. Having had a brilliant, but thoroughly exhausting, time over the whole weekend it was time to start the journey home.
But not without grabbing a few more caches along the way, seeing as the weather was still playing ball with us. Today my son and I chose to concentrate on caches that were either Challenge ones I have qualified for, or else Puzzle ones that I have had solved for a while but never had the chance to come and search for.
This particular cache was chosen because it was one of two that had a GC code number combination that I needed to complete a particular Challenge Cache. Having parked up near to GZ, it was a short walk and a quick find which was a huge relief to me. We were able to admire the grand views on offer whilst the log was swiftly signed and the whole thing replaced as found before heading off to get the other combination I wanted to find today.
Thanks for placing this cache.

As I approached GZ I could see a camo painted container on the grass near the hint object. I found the camo lid not too far away. There was no sign of the log book, so I had a bit of a look around and found a smaller container with log inside.
I completed my details in the log, put one container inside the other, and hid in accordance with the hint and coordinates.
The cache owner may want to check that I have put it in the correct place.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

Could spot the hiding spot a long way off thanks to the hint. Had to make sure that there was nobody looking from the very adjacent house. Fortunately therer was nobody home. Everything in order. TFTC
Quick find after getting over feeling awkward walking through someones backyard
After my sort-of found it, the CO gave me permission to log a find but instead I returned to sign it for real while I was nearby getting another cache. Since I knew where it should be I put my hand straight on it on arrival without even switching on the torch (it was dark). TFTC and the speedy investigation and replacement!
A quick find today, while visiting an area we have never been before. A nice spot to sit and enjoy the view. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Replaced cache. Looks like the old cache had been whipped out by a council weed-eater during maintenance. I've placed a rock as a preventative measure. Cheers.
I'm not sure how to log this so I'm logging a note because I sort of found it and sort of didn't.
My first problem is that I came here from Riverstone Drive - almost right next to the cache. But there's no obvious boundary to the house between the road and the cache and I wasn't sure if I could access the cache from that direction. There's kind of a path then that connected with the proper trail so that seemed fine. Then at GZ I found I was uncomfortably close to the same house again. I had a look in the most likely place and found what surely had to be a geocache container. But its lid was off and buried in the ground next to it. A plastic bag was in the container which further suggested it was a geocache but crucially there was no log. So as there was nothing to sign I can't claim I found it. Since it was so geocachy I don't think it was a genuine DNF either. I checked the hint for good measure and that seemed to agree that I found where the cache should be.
I believe I'm looking at a muggled cache but the CO might have to check. I guess I should have photographed it and PM'd the CO which might have enabled me to convert this to a find (or DNF). However that ship has sailed so I'll put it on my watchlist and revsit one day.

Nice quick find while visiting a friend in Riverstone. Cache all good.

A quick easy find at the end of the track. We were glad the house right beside it appears not to be occupied yet. TFTC
I decided this afternoon would be a good one to have a crack at three Riverstone Terraces caches that were showing as unfound on my geocaching map. I had the place to myself here and the cache was a lot easier to find than some other trails trails trails ones.
#8412. A nice walk from Riverstone Drive in Riverstone Terraces today. Several folks were busy with the house construction in the vicinity. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Great find. Took a rest on the bench before going for next cache. Got to get all I can before I leave for home in Hawaii then off to southern Arizona where there are plenty of caches to find.
Great view from the bench.
Great view from the bench.
More new house construction nearby, but the seat provided a potential loitering place with a quick cache retrieval. Nice day for a wander around Riverstone. Good views from here too. TFTC
Made our way here after doing a loop or two in KGM park, looking to find a few Riverstone caches.
Parked at Little Green Visitors and strolled our way here intrigued by the openness of the adjacent newly built homes.
Once at GZ a straightforward find.
Cache in order; log signed, then cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Out for a morning walk with the family. Master four found this one. Nice walk down and back.
Leap-Day find!
Have been saving this one just in case I needed some easy caches to complete my grid on the 29th of Feb. As it turned out the 29th was going to be a verrrry busy day, so I'm pleased I did.
Started caching in April of 2012, so had just missed the previous 29th Feb, and that hole in the grid has been taunting me for years - no more!
Lots of builders about early this morning - a real hive of activity. A nice easy find in the first place I looked.

Weather was nicer than expected so geocaching with Just-Lookin was a very pleasant way to spend the day.
We soon had the cache found - some very good walking trails here!

Had no trouble locating the prominent stone found cache all in good order. Replaced as found. T.F.T.C.
Wow this area has changed since I was last out this way....Walked along from the other new cache nearby, admiring the 'works in progress'.... fortunately the house they were working on screened me from the nearby Builders and another smiley was soon acquired. TFTC.
I' m out this way every afternoon at present so decided to divert and find the new caches in the area. Found this one within seconds, a nice viewpoint. Signed log, TFTC!
Couldn't resist now I really am going back to work haha. Two men clearing the path just looked at the crazy woman sitting on the said rock in the rain in her work clothes, go figure.
Happy Days FTF. I was just finishing up in Seaview when the phone went crazy in my pocket, what else to do but head off and have a look. An easy find. A nice little view as well, and a nice blank log book. All quiet while I was here. Cheers and TFTC
