Logs
Pulled up on the opposite side of the road to the location at dusk. Found the cache quickly and returned it to its spot tucked away.
Appreciated the reference to the old route Pratts rd road and the snippet of history.
The cache was a bit waterlogged, so added tape to the bags to try seal them a little better. New log has been added by previous visitor

Today we are on the way from Whitianga to Auckland. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

Found on an early morning trip through the area on our way to Maraetai for some intense caching! Great history in this area. Nice quick find here, thankfully. TFTC

First day of our family holiday trip and we were a bit early for an appointment in Pukekohe so we detoured a little for some caches.
Started on the wrong side of the structure first but then walked around and was a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
After climbing Mt William with Merlot58 and Nette1234 we had time to collect a few caches on our way home. This one was a quick park and grab, and found in the obvious spot. TFTC
After climbing Mt William we continued to get a few more caches in the area. This was an easy find but the log book has seen better days as it's starting to disintegrate
After walking up Mt William we did some local caches.
Found the the obvious place.

Nice big container but soggy contents. Managed to write on the wet log as we did not have a replacement log on us. TFTC!
A quick search soon had the log in hand.
Log damp did what I could .
Thanks

Convenient parking spot and a very quick find. Bit of water in the main container but we drained it the best we could
Out and about to get a couple of caches with Albert the Geohound and this was nearby a multi I was targeting for the day. Stopped just a little bit up the road as there was a little bit of space to pull over a bit better.
Walked back and looked in the most obvious spot and sure enough there was the cache. Quite a nice size if you are of a mind to exchange swap - I had none so took nothing, left nothing and signed the log. Replaced the cache back as found and popped a little natural camo back over the top. Mind you it would be pretty unlucky to have this muggled here I think.
The log was a bit damp because the ziplock bags hadn't been closed properly so was careful to ensure they were closed - hope they stay that way. Thanks for the cache - all good here.

We slightly overshot GZ and had to walk back where we made a quick find of this nicely sized cache.
Despite being double bagged the log was a bit damp but not too wet to sign. TFTC

Good sized cache to find when heading home after a trip to the airport. The logbook is damp, TFTC
While heading south today just had to do the odd cache to break up my trip thx. nice quick prkd , sign and off..
Nice sized cache; looked at leaving a TB but cache was a little wet inside, log was okay though. TFTC.
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
After dropping off my host kid in school I had time to make a little Geocaching tour in Drury. I could find a couple of very nice Caches and I had fun while doing it.
Nice box here!

Was driving to Papakura and decided to take the long way and pick up the 5 caches along this road. After driving past this one and having to double back I finally made the find, and could continue on my way
Thanks for the history about this place. Was greeted by the local cows at the gate when we parked up. Jar contents were wet log book ok.
My GPS was initially putting me on the wrong side of the road, but after spotting an obvious hiding location I quickly crossed over and soon had the cache in hand. The cows in the field came down to see what I was up to.... hopefully they can keep a secret TFTC!
Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun
Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Went to park at the edge of a nearby driveway but, as luck would have it, the residents had just returned and one was out opening the gate. Parked a way down the road and soon had the cache in hand. Dropped in a TB. TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Short term goal: reach milestone 6000th find... It' all about the numbers, baby!
Ararimu turns 150 this weekend. That's a milestone in itself... It's probably not the most opportune time to come calling, but we are on a mission... When a location has been in existence for a while, there's bound to be a lot of history. We appreciated finding out about the community with each cache we visited.
Several cars passed by while on site. This was a quick find in between traffic. We took the TB. TFTC.

10am -Today was a numbers day for us with hopefully most of them being drive by caches.
I worked out a route plan, met the Squirrel at Te Poi and made South Auckland our target.
Many interesting array of finds and tasks to collect caches with the odd one not a drive by. SLTFTC

Nice easy find! There were two trackables and we have taken both to relocate today.
I decided to have a bit of a Sunday drive around and grab some easy park n grabs. Thanks.
Today we set out to try and get to our 300 find before the year end. This is number 3 for the day. I have left a TB to continue its travels.
I had a couple of hours to spare this morning before heading to the airport and home so headed out to find a few caches. Some interesting history in the listing. Thanks for that and TFTC, Biggles.
2512 Missed this on the way down so had to turn around and come back. Nice quick find.
Had to pop down to Pukekohe to check some information out on a machine that we were having issues with.
Quickly assessed and as it was mid afternoon decided to take the slightly longer trip home so I could grab a few caches as well.
As I was heading the wrong way down this road I had to do a U turn to come back to find this one. Parked close and walked to GZ. Made the quick find and then had to also drive down the road further to do another U turn to head in the homeward direction.

Found quickly. Thanks. Last one for the road, never been here, some fantastic views
Very easy little one that i've driven past at least once every day for the last 3 years. A cool cache jar (my 5th) with lots of stuff. The kids picked one thing each and we left some travel entertainment - if you're off on a road trip with kids - call in here first!
Fascinated by the long wire travelling over land from the phone pole. Side tracked us a bit but cache quickly found. TFTC
Thanks for the historical info. I'm sure I passed Pratts Road somewhere but now I can't see it on the map. The countryside looks different from the picture now doesn't it. Loved the hiding place. TFTC .
TB grab yesterday as I had to scoot out this way to drop the wagon back to my Dad.
We got the tree shopping out of the way first, then it was caching time! This was the first cache on our way to hunua. A quick find, tftc.
Tftc! A bit of geocaching was an added bonus, on our road trip to Ramarama tree nursery today....ok ok, you got me....the real purpose of our road trip today might have been geocaching, under the pretense of visiting the nursery. Whatever the case, it was a fun trip, and this cache was a quick n easy find.
Got away early from a meeting in Auckland. We always like that. It was still light, so figured that it was time for a few caches.
In that past life, this was a mobile phone black out area. It was also on the way to our Corporate Office. Yes. A multinational Corporation Branch Office out here. Enough of old memories. Retired now and caches to find. ON ON!!!
Thanks Seth Raven.
Grabbed TB. Dropped TB.

I decided to head eastwards today to plunder some caches. Mostly I was successful.
In: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

Parked just past the beginning of the old road and walked back to GZ. Took a look in the obvious spot and there was the cache. Thanks.
After completing the trip from Bombay to Dargaville and unloading the large moving truck it was time to make the return journey. Mitsimadman and I were keen to collect a few more caches on the return leg so stopped here. We parked up nice and close to GZ and used the headlights to illuminate the search. A quick look and the goods were soon in hand. Time to get some dinner. Cheers for the cache placement!
It had been a long day and getting late now but one last cache to be had under headlights, TFTC.
What a busy road this seems to be ( or is it just when you are a pedestrian that it seems so?)
I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the cache. Thanks for bringing me here.

Heading North and enjoying a variety of caches all adding to the fun of this trip.

Noticed these new caches pop up a few weeks ago, so had them on the cards to find over this long weekend. So after visiting some family in East Auckland took the less beaten track to get back to Hamilton and attempt these caches.
Parked in the driveway down the road and ran back up to GZ, was trying to load up the clue when I spotted the cache. Thanks for the hide.

Found ... we had friends up for the weekend & decided to go for a drive to check out some things down Waiuku & Pukekohe way ... 7th of 9 for the day ... we were on our way back home & decided to pop into Ramarama & snag a few caches ... parking was a bit of fun ... in the end, the cache was easily found & quickly replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,239 for us.
We noted the coords for this one had been updated so we punched them into the GPS on our way to GZ. We parked up roadside and made the ultra quick find. We signed the log, admired the awesome swag (although we had nothing to swap) but we did drop in a TB, TFTC!

This was the second for the night... FTF's that is along with Mr HeMaLuDy, and having been question by the POLICE on the earlier cache we thought we should keep a low profile.... Found a nice pull off near this GZ... or shall I say what we thought was GZ....
One phone (android based), and an old style GPS were struggling/bouncing around here in the dark of the night, and nothing really matching the hint that looked like where the CO would make a hide... when messages start coming from the CO.... so a quick phone call back to them with our update....
All I will say is try these co-ordinates and not the ones on the cache description... they are some 40+ meters different, and I have discussed this with the CO.
S37 08.865 E174 59.704
Again I only set the images up on this cache page prior to the co-ordinates being confirmed and the cache being placed... etc...
{FTF} #86 Joint with Mr HeMaLuDy.
TFTC SethRaven... and loving the stories about the area.
