Quite an appropriate cache to find as I am posted to what was 4TTS (now part of LTS) next week. Always interesting exploring the former base here. The cache was a nice quick find. I liked the appropriate military container as well. TFTC
I couldn't be sure I wasn't being watched but I was keen to give this cache a try. I spent a bit longer here than I would have liked as it was rather difficult to extract the container; I think due to some expansion caused by heat - it was 31 degrees earlier.
Had to exercise a bit of patience as there were some workmen having lunch outside the playcentre. When the time was right I made a move and came up with the goods. A great cache. Tftc
After I finished work for the day I had time to go and find a few caches before heading back to my hotel. Thanks for the interesting cache listing. Had to exercise stealth as some of the TTs (Tiny Tots) were being picked up as I arrived. When the coast was clear the cleverly camo'd cache was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.
That was a tight fit but managed to get cache out of it's hiding place. A clever wee hide.
A quick find for me here. I see that the piece of land next door is being divided up now. TFTC.
5 June 2017 18:01. Last time I tried this one wasn't here but a quick find today. Nicely crafted. TFTC Rufsta
Wow had been put back upside down so was wedged so tight. Broke my pen but managed to sign.
Could hear the kids playing (sounds fun) as i quickly walked over to the cache site. Easily spotted the suspicious item, and viola there was the cache!
TFTC. Out for a morning geocache with MerleLutz, the worlds second, and sometimes first, best geocacher!
So lovely to be caching together as we live on opposite sides of the world.
This morning wee did several Rufsta caches - different containers and fun hides. I really enjoyed them.
Thanks Rufsta for placing the cache.

A quick find thanks, tucked under the fence, easily accessible. Cheers
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

I found this one on my second day of geocaching in Christchurch. TNLNSL. Thanks.
A muggle picking up her child was in the carpark and we had to wait them out before we could replace this. We spent quite a bit of time showing interest in the workmen on the other side of the fence. Found with debsnz
We though we might not be able to reach because of the fence but as we approached something was spied and even though we thought 'no' it was YES! Found with AorakiSheep.
Found funny my grandaughter goes to the daycare Tftc little cacheeater was so happy to see one at daycare
After a working day from 8.30am to 9pm out at Darfield I was looking for something quick to log in order to carry my streak on. This was the one! Day #204. Thanks for the new placement! Nice hide.
Back in action again. I've added some hints to the description. Hopefully should last the distance. Enjoy.
***Well that was quick. A large fence has been erected to keep the great uncleansed (and Geocahcers) of the section. The Cache is just out of reach, but it may as well be a million miles away. I will leave it for the moment. Perhaps the next stage of development in the area is about to get under way. I will have another think about it, and see if I can temporarily relocate it, but alas for the moment it is unavailable.***
We were long overdue for a caching adventure with daughter and granddaughter, and today seemed like a good opportunity! The weather was beautiful with only a few intermittent spits of rain and the wind picking up late afternoon. We found a few on our list, and even managed to get a proper coffee into the day [^] TFTC!!

I've been wanting to get some more caches found, and I managed to convince mum to come join for doing so! So we headed out today to see how many we could get, focusing on finding the solved & unfound ones. We didn't do too badly, getting 24 for the day, and with the baby actually being pretty chilled most the day! - Perfect for finding heaps of caches! Haha!
We were tempted to pull the baby out as cover here - but no need - cache was found before we even had a chance to do that!
TFTC!!

Finally beat JudeE to a find! Quick and easy find, can be done without the hint:) Got caught by the CO who thought we might be the frequent muggles! TFTC with cab165
**Here we go again - 3rd times a charm. Have given it a bit of a rest to hopefully let swipers forget about it. Have reset and we're good to go. Apologies to those who have missed it. If it goes again, may have to give in to the spoil sports.....**
I really don't seem to have much luck with park and grabs in Wigram. Recent comments indicate that it might be missing.
Seems to have been swiped again. I'll replace it shortly and make it a bit less visible. cheers
Here in ChCh for a quick visit... while Miss 17 is off at a Gym comp down the road I have been all over the place collecting caches with large FP's for a challenge.
Now I'm back to pick her up - and just have enough time for a quick wander round the streets...
It all looks so different here since the junior and senior courses I did way back in 1986 and 1988.... Good to be back having a look around. Fond memories of the nearby Gym and drinking establishment.
I did a quick search on either side of the fence here - but didn't go too far up as there was a few No trespass signs around.
No luck for me here today - could do with a CO check just to reassure us recent DNFers

It really was a park and grab! Super easy but puts huge smiles on the kids faces everytime they make a find - priceless, thanks.
Another good find while around the area with Just-Lookin.
We soon found the cache on the way to the airport.

Quick drive by this morning. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Came for a drive this afternoon to check out GZ but it would have been a tricky grab during the day so came back tonight after placing a cache and all was clear. Took a little longer to spot as I was on wrong side for a while but soon spotted it when I swapped.
Last full day in Christchurch doing the tourist things. High on our list of "must do" was the Wigram Air Force Museum so this took up most of the day which left just enough time to visit the Willowbank Wildlife Park to catch the evening tour and Kea feeding.
Although there were no caches at the actual Air Force Museum, a check on the trusty phone showed a few in neighboring streets so we decided to try for a few of these as yesterday we only managed to have time to get a single cache. This was a quick find as the cache was sitting in almost clear view.

StreetWalker and I were on a lunch time mission - to find enough caches to bring us each up to a total of 10 finds for the 17 June (it's a challenge we have set ourselves, to reach double figures for each day, though it might be tough to continue over winter).
We decided to head to Wigram as there is a decent concentration of unfound caches there. Only problem was the lack of maps of the area on the GPSr, that's the drawback with new subdivisions, but navigator SW did a good job of getting us from A to B.
Cache was a quick find, luckily no one around at lunch time but would be a different story at the beginning or end of a work day. TFTC.

#12532. The first find of our lunch time outing. Troodles was quickly located the cache (just as well as time was limited). TFTC.
Spent a fair bit of time searching unsuccessfully for this one with TipsyTui. I wonder where it is. Nice area, first time I've been here.
Could see and hear the muggle nearby, but luckily there was a fence between us - quick find for me today. TFTC
Quick find before heading off for a night shift... no one looking in my direction which made it easy. TFTC (2898)
on our last cache tour in new zealand before departure to germany we could find some geocaches like this. tftc and greetings from germany.
Right beside a kindergarden. Pretended to be taking photos of the empty section as cover.
Easy find, right next to a sign that made me a little nervous about being there. Even the neighbours suspected nothing though!

I went out to Hornby today to look for some stuff at Mac Pac. They were having a sale. On the way back I turned on my GPS and this was my closest unfound geocache. Perfect! So off I went following the Google maps instructions. This was a nice easy find. Thanks.
After finshing my cyclocache ride and heading for home in the cachemobile I noticed that I had 3 'unfounds' at the old Wigram airbase. This was the last one sought. Nice quick find, fortunately, as I didn't want to be caught trespassing (large sign adjacent to the cache). TFTC.
