We were heading towards Jenolan Caves today, although sadly without time to visit them today, but of course we couldn't resist stopping off to find the caches in this series. The scenery was lovely and we appreciated the information and photos on the various cache pages - they have certainly made us want to return with several hours on our hands to visit the caves. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the interesting information on the cache page. Greetings from Zimbabwe ??????
On the way to Jenolan Caves (almost),

Took a little for gps to indicate the right area. The cache was soon to hand though. Thjanks Chuze
A little bit of a search, but we eventually found it. Things were a bit wet. TFTC
Had a great day caching in this part of the world with geo brother (Forereach) and Mrs Forereach. Started the days with several in pandsa's CRRR series, including 4 FTFs, and then moved onto this series. I had intended to walk them but in hindsight it was better to do them by car - too many trucks on the road and a few hills would have taken some of the fun out of it. We did them in the opposite direction to the numbering but still had no trouble finding suitable parking. Apologies for the generic log, but its hard to be creative for each log in a large series.
We spent a great day with my brother (Dogwood53) caching in the Kanimbla Valley, overcast sure, but the rain held off. Returned to finish off the rest of Pandsa’s “Coxs River Road Ramble” series nearby and enjoy the stunning views across the valley. We then got onto the “Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail” which unfortunately we attempted in reverse order which made finding a parking spot off the road a bit tricky in laces. Pardon the generic post. All easy little park and grabs. TFTC
Tftc - Heading to Bathurst for a swim meet with geoson and decided to collect the caches along this route. Not many cars when pulled over, all nice and easy to find.
Heading back home after a week away camping between Capertee,Mudgee,Sofala,Burnt Yards, Bathurst then back to Capertee,I couldnt help but detour to complete this series of caches before heading back over the mountain, the drive was extremely scenic and most of the hides where all located with out to much trouble.
Thanks for the great cave series and TFTC

Heading back to QLD from Sydney via the western regions and I picked up some caches along the way and this was one of them.
This was the next in the trail and it was a quick find.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

From November 5th to November 30th I studied English at ILSC in Sydney. After these month I rent a car for traveling and driving to Melbourne because my return flight is from Melbourne. The plan for the weekend was to visit the Jenolan Caves. The Lucas Cave on Saturday afternoon and the Diamont&Imperial Cave on Sunday morning. After the Diamont&Imperial Cave I was going back to Sydney. On this way I found all boxes on the Jenolan Cave Road.
I found the box quickly.
Thanks for the cache from Bonn, Germany

Out for weekend getaway with Genghicat . Missing our turn Gengi decided to u-turn here and said that'd be the perfect spot for a cache. Well the cache wasn't there but it was 2.9 m away. New logsheet placed as old one is wet. Beautiful view around here. Tftc
Off to Lithgow today for a meeting this afternoon and left home earlier than I needed in order to tackle this Jenolan Caves series on the way.
And I'm so glad I did! It's such a picturesque drive that I found myself spending more time admiring the views than I did looking for the caches ... not that I actually had to spend much time looking, thanks to sensible cache placements and helpul hints. There were, however, a couple I didn't find (I think they may have gone walkabout) but that's OK, it gives me an excuse to come backand do the drive again with the muggle missus.
Thanks for the cache Chuze, and also for enticing me to do this lovely drive.

Stopped to finish my pie I bought at Oberon, checked for a cache and what do you know. TFTC.
On the way from Sydney to White Rock to stay with family I've made a detour from the GWH onto Jenolan Caves Road to grab caches 1-14 of the Jenolan Power Trail before turning off onto Mckanes Falls Road to rejoin the GWH and continue to White Rock. Most of the caches were park and grab thanks to the generous hints from the CO and some provided magnificient views. TFTC Chuze
Not quite the grand arch but arching was involved to get to the cache (I’m a silly cacher).
Tapping around with a stick eventually produced a cache, and after the log was signed, we happily hopped back in the car eager to continue the cache streak!

Found completely buried after a few minutes. Was a team effort of five people. Returned to where it was found but without completely burying it and placed sticks gently over it. It's still here folks
Found with Team Normal, Seanchai Dorcha and Reverse G.

We looked, and we looked...until we looked a bit silly so we thought we would move on.
Hopefully be back another day.

Tried again today, but still no luck - coords had us scrambling up slopes and all. Saw where it could well have been ...
Our GPS was varying quite a bit today, but even with averaging we couldn't find anything here.
12th 1 down in the series – enjoyed the run – thanks for the history of the cave – cache a little damp - TFTC / TFTH / SL

On a 2 day caching adventure with GeodudeAU to clear some caches over the Blue Mountains. Starting from Hartley heading south to stop by Burraga Dam overnight, then heading north to Rockley and Oberon. We had a very successful trip, notching up 115 smileys, and exploring many out of the way places. Lots of interesting scenery and wildlife along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these hides. TFTC
Out with Brewmaker on a two day adventure. On this, our first day, we started at Hartley on the Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail, and through Hampton. Then it was onto The Road Less Travelled touring trail (our third time out for this series) past Duckmaloi and Black Springs where we picked up the rest of the trail around Mount David and Burraga. We camped for the night at the Burraga Dam camping ground bside the lake - a beautiful place and one to remember.
It was perfect weather to be touring around the countryside, seeing lots of native birds and farm animals along the way. We also picked up some other associated caches along the way. Thanks to all of the cache owners for the clear directions, hints, and good easy hides. Only a couple took more than a minute to locate. TFTCs

A beautiful day to go caching with it being neither too hot or too cold. We had a little drizzle as can be expected in the Blue Mountains. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. We loved the scenery and findng the caches in this series. We saw lots of black cockatoos today and one black snake who was blissfully unaware of us as it was soaking up the sun. We are based at Lake Wallace near Lithgow for a few days and check out this area. It has been several years since we last visited. Thanks to Chuze for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found while out caching for the day and exploring the area. Container had water in it but the log was nice and dry in its bag. TFTC Chuze!
Thought it was time to clean up the remaining caches in this series as last time some were inside a long stretch of roadworks.
All quick and easy to find but most logs were full and would benefit from a maintenance run.

Found on the 28/11 easy spot to stop and grab. Unfortunately i did not get to the caves in the end as i ended up taking to much time looking around and taking in the views
A very pleasant series of caches while we were in the area today, with some interesting historical information and some great views to be had along the way. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache(s).

Well!!!! on arrival spotted a lid similar to a previous cache , then spotted the log in bag a few mtrs away, so then went hunting for the base. Put all three back together and hopefully have placed where it should be beside rock but under rocks. Hope that will be satisfactory.
Thanks Chuze for the hide.

Hi there Chuze.
This is the 1st of 1 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 12:02:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. It's either not there, a very clever hide or we are just suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature. Now we drive from Melbourne over Canberra, Batemans Bay, Wollongong, The Blue Mountains to Sydney
This traditional Cache we have also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.

Taking advantage of the long weekend, Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head up to the Lithgow area caching along the way. Our main aim was the Jenolan Caves MPT with a few extras here and there. We appreciated the wide variety of caches found and thank the CO's for their caches.
14234. Found during a run through the Oberon to Lithgow region this long weekend Monday.
Minniek and I decided that a day trip up to Lithgow was in order to grab the Jenolan Caves MPT and any others along the way. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache replaced, and we headed off.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches - it was a great run up through this area.

Heading back out to Oberon to drop in with Mum. Living out there for ten + years and spending some time working in the mountains one got to know this road well. Enjoyed the whole series as it ment I was able to do a lot of reflection on a past life and helped to show case the great area. Well done on placing these. Hope to see it continue on one day. Giving me another excuse to come back and visit.

Had a look around a few places, but could not find a geocache. I managed to find many very small stones to put between my feed and my sandles.
Heading out to do the Hartley run today. Cold and miserable day got the big jackets on today. TFTC
A caching Weekend away with Wilbert67, so glad the weather cleared up, we had a fun trip and good company. We prepared our selves with many solved puzzled, and collected other caches along the way. love the Bathurst and the outer areas. This was a very scenic spot. TFTC
Second day of our weekend around Bathurst/Lithgow. Again lots of puzzles and lots of fun. Some tricky and a few DNF as well, but overall very happy with the results. J+J.AU as my caching friend made a big difference, thanks guys for having me along once again!

Found on the way to work at (funnily enough) the Grand Arch ! Second time lucky for me after a DNF back in March. Many thanks Chuze
I found the rest of this series in earely march. At that time this cache was off line, so I wrote a note instead. Today, we were in the area, so we decided to get this final cache in the series.
When we initially did the series I had the idea to write each log as a continuation of the last. They were meant to be read as one long log, if anyone could was bored enough to. Naturally, this one doesn't fit into that series of logs.
When we parked there seemed to be one of two locations that were the obvious spots to look, despite the coordinates suggesting elsewhere. We looked there, but found no cache. So we wandered over to where the GPS said. The coordinates were exact. The spot wasn't as obvious, but there was the cache, waiting to be found. Thanks

#3623- Back in March we did the rest of this series, but at the time this one was offline. It may well have been there, but didnt come up on our query, so today we stopped for this one. It was an easy one though I still missed it the first time past. Thanks
Found today with pjmpjm on our power trail hunt.
Thanks for the cache and the great views.
