We were heading towards Jenolan Caves today, although sadly without time to visit them today, but of course we couldn't resist stopping off to find the caches in this series. The scenery was lovely and we appreciated the information and photos on the various cache pages - they have certainly made us want to return with several hours on our hands to visit the caves. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the interesting information on the cache page. Greetings from Zimbabwe ??????
I must drop by Jenolan Caves again someday.
The pictures are piquing me interest
This cache was a quick find on me way to the caves (almost) today [^]

Missed the parking spot so we had to walk back. The wind is very icy, but the views are spectacular! TFTC
Good view but didn't stay long in the cool wind blowing across the hills. TFTC
Had a great day caching in this part of the world with geo brother (Forereach) and Mrs Forereach. Started the days with several in pandsa's CRRR series, including 4 FTFs, and then moved onto this series. I had intended to walk them but in hindsight it was better to do them by car - too many trucks on the road and a few hills would have taken some of the fun out of it. We did them in the opposite direction to the numbering but still had no trouble finding suitable parking. Apologies for the generic log, but its hard to be creative for each log in a large series.
We spent a great day with my brother (Dogwood53) caching in the Kanimbla Valley, overcast sure, but the rain held off. Returned to finish off the rest of Pandsa’s “Coxs River Road Ramble” series nearby and enjoy the stunning views across the valley. We then got onto the “Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail” which unfortunately we attempted in reverse order which made finding a parking spot off the road a bit tricky in laces. Pardon the generic post. All easy little park and grabs. TFTC
Tftc - Heading to Bathurst for a swim meet with geoson and decided to collect the caches along this route. Not many cars when pulled over, all nice and easy to find.
Heading back home after a week away camping between Capertee,Mudgee,Sofala,Burnt Yards, Bathurst then back to Capertee,I couldnt help but detour to complete this series of caches before heading back over the mountain, the drive was extremely scenic and most of the hides where all located with out to much trouble.
Thanks for the great cave series and TFTC

Heading back to QLD from Sydney via the western regions and I picked up some caches along the way and this was one of them.
This was the next in the trail and it was a quick find.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

On a trip from Sydney to White Rock to visit family I took a detour to grab a few caches. Here it was a quick park and grab then a look at the fantastic view. TFTC
From November 5th to November 30th I studied English at ILSC in Sydney. After these month I rent a car for traveling and driving to Melbourne because my return flight is from Melbourne. The plan for the weekend was to visit the Jenolan Caves. The Lucas Cave on Saturday afternoon and the Diamont&Imperial Cave on Sunday morning. After the Diamont&Imperial Cave I was going back to Sydney. On this way I found all boxes on the Jenolan Cave Road.
I found the box quickly.
Thanks for the cache from Bonn, Germany

Off to Lithgow today for a meeting this afternoon and left home earlier than I needed in order to tackle this Jenolan Caves series on the way.
And I'm so glad I did! It's such a picturesque drive that I found myself spending more time admiring the views than I did looking for the caches ... not that I actually had to spend much time looking, thanks to sensible cache placements and helpul hints. There were, however, a couple I didn't find (I think they may have gone walkabout) but that's OK, it gives me an excuse to come backand do the drive again with the muggle missus.
Thanks for the cache Chuze, and also for enticing me to do this lovely drive.

On the way to the caves we made a brief stop to to find and log the cache. We visited the Lucas Cave, which was very nice.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Now getting even closer to the state forest, and rushing these caches, this was found quickly, although that only happened once the GPS coordinates locked somewhere sensible. Little beauty.
Thanks for the cache!
Found with Foreignnebula, Seanchai Dorcha, and TeamNormal, as part of a weekend romp through Jenolan and the Blue Mountains!

Found in way to caves. Thanks for the good parking it makes things easy. Didn't get them all because there were lots of trucks on the road
On a 2 day caching adventure with GeodudeAU to clear some caches over the Blue Mountains. Starting from Hartley heading south to stop by Burraga Dam overnight, then heading north to Rockley and Oberon. We had a very successful trip, notching up 115 smileys, and exploring many out of the way places. Lots of interesting scenery and wildlife along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these hides. TFTC
Out with Brewmaker on a two day adventure. On this, our first day, we started at Hartley on the Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail, and through Hampton. Then it was onto The Road Less Travelled touring trail (our third time out for this series) past Duckmaloi and Black Springs where we picked up the rest of the trail around Mount David and Burraga. We camped for the night at the Burraga Dam camping ground bside the lake - a beautiful place and one to remember.
It was perfect weather to be touring around the countryside, seeing lots of native birds and farm animals along the way. We also picked up some other associated caches along the way. Thanks to all of the cache owners for the clear directions, hints, and good easy hides. Only a couple took more than a minute to locate. TFTCs

A beautiful day to go caching with it being neither too hot or too cold. We had a little drizzle as can be expected in the Blue Mountains. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. We loved the scenery and findng the caches in this series. We saw lots of black cockatoos today and one black snake who was blissfully unaware of us as it was soaking up the sun. We are based at Lake Wallace near Lithgow for a few days and check out this area. It has been several years since we last visited. Thanks to Chuze for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Left trackable
Found on the 28/11 easy spot to stop and grab. Container in good condition. The stop was a nice one to sit back.
Unfortunately i did not get to the caves in the end as i ended up taking to much time looking around and taking in the views

A very pleasant series of caches while we were in the area today, with some interesting historical information and some great views to be had along the way. There is a great view from here. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache(s).

Hi there Chuze.
We found your cache **"17. The Blue Lake. (Jenolan Caves MPT)"** today. (This makes our find count 17884).
Today we headed out from Oberon to complete the "Jenolan Caves MPT" plus any others we came across on our travels. We started the day off at "James Whalan" & from there we proceeded to log caches up to "Diamond Cave" before heading back to camp. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but it is really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 24 caches today & DNF'd 1. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** Most containers and log books were in good shape but some require a little "maintenance".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

14229. Found during a run through the Oberon to Lithgow region this long weekend Monday.
Minniek and I decided that a day trip up to Lithgow was in order to grab the Jenolan Caves MPT and any others along the way. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache replaced, and we headed off.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches - it was a great run up through this area.

Taking advantage of the long weekend, Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head up to the Lithgow area caching along the way. Our main aim was the Jenolan Caves MPT with a few extras here and there. We appreciated the wide variety of caches found and thank the CO's for their caches.
Heading back out to Oberon to drop in with Mum. Living out there for ten + years and spending some time working in the mountains one got to know this road well. Enjoyed the whole series as it ment I was able to do a lot of reflection on a past life and helped to show case the great area. Well done on placing these. Hope to see it continue on one day. Giving me another excuse to come back and visit.

#1376 Fifteenth of thirty nine finds on a great day's caching around the outskirts of Lithgow. Nice quick and easy find. TFTC
Being part owners of the Little Hartley Holiday Farm nearby we headed out for an afternoon of caching on the way to the club in Lithgow for the raffles and dinner tonight.
Maybe we should have read the cache pages first as we would have realised we were going the wrong direction with almost all of the caches being on the wrong side of the road. Ah well.
Well our trip around the loop back to the main road was mostly uneventful. We came across an echidna, thought we have have been busted by another cacher pulling up behind us then taking off only to park at the next cache location but took off as we parked across the road. When we got to the next cache there they were again. Unsure if they were catchers or not. They were getting a drone out and started to fly around. Think I could have found somewhere better and safer then where they were to fly especially with kids so close to road. Who knows maybe they were recording there caching experience by drone. Think we also had the council worker watering roadworks as every time he came back we were only parked a few hundred metres up for the last spot.
Anyway was a good caching loop finding most but missing a few for safety being on wrong side of road with nowhere to pull over.

Heading out to do the Hartley run today. Cold and miserable day got the big jackets on today. TFTC
one of those caches i'm glad I'm doing in early spring as there is less likelihood of snakes in the long grass. there was also the added bonus of some inquisitive calves to say hello to.
An easy find - still windy out of the car. TFTC Used to be snakes around the blue Lake
A caching Weekend away with Wilbert67, so glad the weather cleared up, we had a fun trip and good company. We prepared our selves with many solved puzzled, and collected other caches along the way. love the Bathurst and the outer areas. This was a very scenic spot. TFTC
Second day of our weekend around Bathurst/Lithgow. Again lots of puzzles and lots of fun. Some tricky and a few DNF as well, but overall very happy with the results. J+J.AU as my caching friend made a big difference, thanks guys for having me along once again!

rogerw3 and I set off on an expedition this afternoon and logged all 21 'Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail' caches, plus four others! This was one of our finds. Many thanks to Chuze!
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

Last time we went to Jenolan, we were lucky enough to see a platypus in the Blue Lake. Apparently they come out late afternoon. We came out of the Chifley Cave at just the right time, and our guide suggested having a look. So we went for a walk with another family, waited patiently (not an easy thing with about 8 kids all up) and were rewarded with one swimming out from the bank to quite close to us.
The caves are pretty good, but the platypus in the lake made it a special day.
Thanks

I have very fond memories of sitting next to my parents and daughter at the edge of the Blue Lake watching a platypus swim before us on a previous visit TFTC
This was a very quick and easy power trail to get some numbers up for our caching total. They were all found and there were no problems with any. Thank you for this trail and for giving us reason to stop in many places along this road.
Letunechi and myself went on a geocaching road trip. We found these were an awesome bunch of finds the only problem was the clues I found were very easy.
