We were heading towards Jenolan Caves today, although sadly without time to visit them today, but of course we couldn't resist stopping off to find the caches in this series. The scenery was lovely and we appreciated the information and photos on the various cache pages - they have certainly made us want to return with several hours on our hands to visit the caves. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and a favourite point for the series. Greetings from Zimbabwe ??????
After a detour down into the depths of the Cox's Valley,
I headed for the virtual depths of the Diamond Cave here

On my way to stay with family at White Rock I took a slight diversion to visit the Coxs Road caches. I also included this cache along the way. TFTC
Nice easy one, it's be fun to keep on going but I've got to head onwards to Bathurst. Cheers
Had a great day caching in this part of the world with geo brother (Forereach) and Mrs Forereach. Started the days with several in pandsa's CRRR series, including 4 FTFs, and then moved onto this series. I had intended to walk them but in hindsight it was better to do them by car - too many trucks on the road and a few hills would have taken some of the fun out of it. We did them in the opposite direction to the numbering but still had no trouble finding suitable parking. Apologies for the generic log, but its hard to be creative for each log in a large series.
We spent a great day with my brother (Dogwood53) caching in the Kanimbla Valley, overcast sure, but the rain held off. Returned to finish off the rest of Pandsa’s “Coxs River Road Ramble” series nearby and enjoy the stunning views across the valley. We then got onto the “Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail” which unfortunately we attempted in reverse order which made finding a parking spot off the road a bit tricky in laces. Pardon the generic post. All easy little park and grabs. TFTC
Tftc - Heading to Bathurst for a swim meet with geoson and decided to collect the caches along this route. Not many cars when pulled over, all nice and easy to find.
Heading back home after a week away camping between Capertee,Mudgee,Sofala,Burnt Yards, Bathurst then back to Capertee,I couldnt help but detour to complete this series of caches before heading back over the mountain, the drive was extremely scenic and most of the hides where all located with out to much trouble.
Thanks for the great cave series and TFTC

Heading back to QLD from Sydney via the western regions and I picked up some caches along the way and this was one of them.
This was the next in the trail and like others I found the pile of sticks and could see where a cache once sat. It's been 5 months since the first DNF and to help the CO out I replaced the container and new log as I had a few spares with me.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
This was the last in the trail for me, thanks for the fun.

On a trip from Sydney to White Rock to visit family I took a slight detour to visit a few of the TRLT caches. I scratched around but I'm afraid I'm also a DNF on this one. Thanks for placing the cache.
Stopped here on the way home from jenolan but all we found at GZ was a pile of sticks
Cache wasn't spotted despite the generous hint, but I did see a pile of sticks at the foot of one tree. It's quite possible therefore that it has gone AWOL ... or I didn't look widely enough.
As Arnie once said, I'll be back! But I'll wait for a CO check or a find to be logged.

A quick find, as with all the others! Got through this one quickly, with signing duties and rehide completed in under 5 minutes. With this series completed we hurried on our way to our cave tour. Thank you very much for this series!
Found with Foreignnebula, Seanchai Dorcha, and TeamNormal, as part of a weekend romp through Jenolan and the Blue Mountains!

On a 2 day caching adventure with GeodudeAU to clear some caches over the Blue Mountains. Starting from Hartley heading south to stop by Burraga Dam overnight, then heading north to Rockley and Oberon. We had a very successful trip, notching up 115 smileys, and exploring many out of the way places. Lots of interesting scenery and wildlife along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these hides. TFTC
Out with Brewmaker on a two day adventure. On this, our first day, we started at Hartley on the Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail, and through Hampton. Then it was onto The Road Less Travelled touring trail (our third time out for this series) past Duckmaloi and Black Springs where we picked up the rest of the trail around Mount David and Burraga. We camped for the night at the Burraga Dam camping ground bside the lake - a beautiful place and one to remember.
It was perfect weather to be touring around the countryside, seeing lots of native birds and farm animals along the way. We also picked up some other associated caches along the way. Thanks to all of the cache owners for the clear directions, hints, and good easy hides. Only a couple took more than a minute to locate. TFTCs

A beautiful day to go caching with it being neither too hot or too cold. We had a little drizzle as can be expected in the Blue Mountains. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. We loved the scenery and findng the caches in this series. We saw lots of black cockatoos today and one black snake who was blissfully unaware of us as it was soaking up the sun. We are based at Lake Wallace near Lithgow for a few days and check out this area. It has been several years since we last visited. Thanks to Chuze for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found on the 28/11 easy spot to stop and grab. Unfortunately i did not get to the caves in the end as i ended up taking to much time looking around and taking in the views
A very pleasant series of caches while we were in the area today, with some interesting historical information and some great views to be had along the way. Unfortunately we were not able to visit the Jenolan caves on this trip, and my last visit would be about 50 years ago. All your info provided about the caves system has certainly made me even more keen to get back here again sooner rather than later. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache(s).

Hi there Chuze.
We found your cache **"20. Diamond Cave. (Jenolan Caves MPT)"** today. (This makes our find count 17889).
Today we headed out from Oberon to complete the "Jenolan Caves MPT" plus any others we came across on our travels. We started the day off at "James Whalan" & from there we proceeded to log caches up to "Diamond Cave" before heading back to camp. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but it is really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 3 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** Most containers and log books were in good shape but some require a little "maintenance".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

14222. Found during a run through the Oberon to Lithgow region this long weekend Monday.
Minniek and I decided that a day trip up to Lithgow was in order to grab the Jenolan Caves MPT and any others along the way. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache replaced, and we headed off.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches - it was a great run up through this area.

Taking advantage of the long weekend, Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head up to the Lithgow area caching along the way. Our main aim was the Jenolan Caves MPT with a few extras here and there. We appreciated the wide variety of caches found and thank the CO's for their caches.
Heading back out to Oberon to drop in with Mum. Living out there for ten + years and spending some time working in the mountains one got to know this road well. Enjoyed the whole series as it ment I was able to do a lot of reflection on a past life and helped to show case the great area. Well done on placing these. Hope to see it continue on one day. Giving me another excuse to come back and visit.

#1381 Twentieth of thirty nine finds on a great day's caching around the outskirts of Lithgow. Nice quick and easy find. TFTC
This was a quick find. We had only visited the Diamond cave earlier today and recall it a very nice cave.
Being part owners of the Little Hartley Holiday Farm nearby we headed out for an afternoon of caching on the way to the club in Lithgow for the raffles and dinner tonight.
Maybe we should have read the cache pages first as we would have realised we were going the wrong direction with almost all of the caches being on the wrong side of the road. Ah well.
Well our trip around the loop back to the main road was mostly uneventful. We came across an echidna, thought we have have been busted by another cacher pulling up behind us then taking off only to park at the next cache location but took off as we parked across the road. When we got to the next cache there they were again. Unsure if they were catchers or not. They were getting a drone out and started to fly around. Think I could have found somewhere better and safer then where they were to fly especially with kids so close to road. Who knows maybe they were recording there caching experience by drone. Think we also had the council worker watering roadworks as every time he came back we were only parked a few hundred metres up for the last spot.
Anyway was a good caching loop finding most but missing a few for safety being on wrong side of road with nowhere to pull over.

A caching Weekend away with Wilbert67, so glad the weather cleared up, we had a fun trip and good company. We prepared our selves with many solved puzzled, and collected other caches along the way. love the Bathurst and the outer areas. This was a very scenic spot. TFTC
Second day of our weekend around Bathurst/Lithgow. Again lots of puzzles and lots of fun. Some tricky and a few DNF as well, but overall very happy with the results. J+J.AU as my caching friend made a big difference, thanks guys for having me along once again!

rogerw3 and I set off on an expedition this afternoon and logged all 21 'Jenolan Caves Mini Power Trail' caches, plus four others! This was one of our finds. Many thanks to Chuze!
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

Back to this nice little series after our brief foray into the cemetery. And a quick find, almost as if to make up for the hard time we had at our last find.
Thanks

Steady as she goes we are picking these caches off one by one, after signing the log book we jumped back into the car and drove off about 60 meters I noticed something sitting on my back spoiler it was my phone!! So lucky it didn't slide off while I was driveing Little Roo was laughing all the way to the next cache about that opps!
This was a very quick and easy power trail to get some numbers up for our caching total. They were all found and there were no problems with any. Thank you for this trail and for giving us reason to stop in many places along this road.
Letunechi and myself went on a geocaching road trip. We found these were an awesome bunch of finds the only problem was the clues I found were very easy.
TFTC nice Power Trail with great parking at almost all of the caches. Thanks for placing these
A long weekend camping / caching trip was suggested by a fellow cacher, and an event was organised. The main thing to consider on a long distance drive is how many caches along the route can be found.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Streak Day #988 - Enroute to a camping event weekend in Carcoar, dave8153 and i decided to do this mini little power trail. TFTC
Found with snoopy1976 on our way to the carcoar for the weekend. Our 22nd for the day.
Looked like another bathroom break as far as passing motorists were concerned. I think the Canary might have picked up the TBs. TFTC.
Day 1 of our Road Trip.
Twenty first of twenty six for today.
An nice easy one with three TBs we took to Adelaide.

At this point, we were now well in front of the guy who was on his bicycle, he had pulled over to have a drink and admire the views. An easy find thanks.
#3524- As I drove this leg of the trip and we were getting closer to the caves, bikerbuddy grabbed this one. Thanks
One of my favourite Monty Python sketches is The Twin Peaks of Kilimanjaro. John Cleese plays the organiser of an expedition to the ‘twin peaks’. Of course, the joke is that there is only one peak. He has double vision. I always laugh when I see Graham Chapman enter the room as the hapless leader of the expedition, replete with his mountaineering equipment to demonstrate the expedition’s course, and sets about destroying everything as he climbs about the furniture. Naturally, the scene is farcical, and it reminds me of a chapter in De Botton’s ‘The Art of Travel’ which might, on first consideration seem equally farcical. De Botton tells the story of the Xavier de Maistre who wrote travel journals based upon expeditions undertaken in his bedroom in his blue and pink pyjamas. Yet de Botton writes that ‘de Maistre’s work springs from a profound and suggestive insight: that the pleasure we derive from journeys is perhaps dependent more on the mindset with which we travel than on the destination we travel to.’ I thought it was a nice variation on the cliché I began with in an earlier log. ‘If only we could apply a travelling mindset to our own locales,’ de Botton writes, ‘we might find these places becoming no less interesting than the high mountain passes and butterfly-filled jungles of Humboldt’s South America … We risk getting run over because we are intrigued by the roof of a government building or an inscription on a wall … We are alive to the layers of history beneath the present…’
When I read this in de Botton I am reminded of caching – that this receptivity to travel is like a child’s wide-eyed willingness to see something fresh in every facet of the world. De Maistre did not eschew the world by staying at home – not a cave in which he imprisoned his mind, but a microcosm in which he set it free, suggesting new ways of seeing and appreciating the world. I think that’s what caching has the potential to do, too.

I must say at first the hint only confused me, until I found it and then it made sense...
Completed the Jenolan Caves series with great views along the way. I started from Cache number 1 and had difficulty with two caches along the way.
