I'm archiving a few geocaches that will be hard to maintain in the near future. This is one of those.
What a fantastic place to find a cache. No mugges and a decent road to get to it. SL TFTC
Found quickly. I had no idea this reserve was here! I had visited the reserve closer to Wongarbon several times, but not this one. Lovely afternoon with birds calling in the forest. Thanks for bringing me here!
The cache container had water in it. Beats me how, because it looks like it should seal very well!
Dried it out as best i could and put in 2 new log sheets

A quick find while we wait for Mrs Garbageman to complete the local Parkrun. Had to lift my daughter over the fence into private property to make the retrieve. TNLN TFTC
On a tour of the lesser visited bits of the Dubbo hinterlands today,
me cache guided tour took me through Wongarbon and out to this patch of woodlands.
This cache was a quick find after a very short stroll from the bumpy road

Took some getting out!! But got it eventually. Cache was wet so couldn’t sign. Dried it out a little and put it back
TFTC. That took a bottle of water, some blood and hubbys tools to dislodge this from its placement! Hopefully easier for the next person!
Note: Cache is not a black square container near a log!! It is full of used sharps and other equipment nearby. Watch the kiddies!
Found but it is well and truly in the post... we tried for twenty minutes to dislodge and nothing
Travelling in the area for a few days. Log may be stamped Coongoola or small logs signed CG. SL

Ignore the distance change. I changed the coordinates wrong and then corrected it.
Coordinates changed from:
S 32° 18.068 E 148° 46.184
Coordinates changed to:
S 32° 18.068 E 148° 46.148
Distance from original: 185.2 feet or 56.4 meters.
I believe this should be closer to GZ. Will check with my GPSr soon.

An easy find but getting it out of the hiding spot took a bit of time.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Heading north for the Alice Springs Event at Easter we explored Dubbo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find, but we were 15 metrs from GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found at 1214. A nice quick find the container had a fair amount of water in it but the bag did it jop and kept the log nice and dry. Container drained. TFTC.
Found with the help of a couple of pros who gave us a bit more of an insight to the geocaching world thanks DiMorgan

#295 Seventh of twelve finds for a day of caching around Dubbo, Wongarbon and Minore. Found after a quick search. TFTC
This was a cache that was easy to find by simply using the hint and observation, as the listed co-ordinates seemed to be further away. The log sheet was soon signed and Then the container and its contents were returned to the hiding place. Thank you No Tomorrow for placing a cache here to show us a local woodland feature.
Teeny away for a week or so. Thought I'd better find this cache as it's so close to home. Tftc
Gps took time to settle to find the right gz. It was just getting dark. Nicely hidden. Cache all good.Tftc
