Lots of fun here!
A great day heading from home to Wedderburn then via several towns I'd never heard of to finish our caching day in Maldon before meeting up with my Aunty in Newstead to go to Melbourne. A huge long day but lots of fun!
becca85, neisha07 & I cached our way around with GemmaSistema and the boys finding some awesome caches in great spots. TFTC!

I traveled over to Wedderburn nice and early with becca85 & neisha07 to fit in as many caches as we could before we had to head to Melbourne. We met up with GemmaSistema and the boys and had a very fun afternoon getting very muddy and catching up with friends at this fun event.
We had an awesome day, wish we could have stayed for dinner. Next year!

A day in Wedderburn for 'the old blokes' events and to grab some caches.
After finding a few caches in the morning it was now time to go to this event and catch up with everybody. Like always it was a fantastic event. What more could you ask for. Met a few new ones and caught up with many familiar faces. Done a few coin trades and discovered a few TB's. The hamburgers and sausages were great - just what we had been hanging out for all morning plus the cuppa to top it all off. It was good to see the cache hounds attending and I noticed that they too enjoyed the sausages.
TFTE the old blokes. Another great country event and of course we all look forward to next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our very first Wedderburn event with great food and great company.
Thanks the old blokes for organising a great get together.

This was our third Wedderburn event, which is now a permanent fixture on our calendar. It was Wedderburn 2014 that really kickstarted our caching and got us so hooked with the clever caches and the fabulous events. Our horses are forever grateful to you Old Blokes for this because now they can loll about the paddock waiting to be rugged and fed and pampered instead of having to slug out the hundreds of kilometres of endurance training, which was our sport before geocaching.
Again we stayed at the caravan park, but instead of bringing the horse float, this time we slept under the Geo-Ute's canopy on the back, which has now been set up with full bedding and kitchen, to take us away camping and geocaching in comfort. We were cosy and warm and dry even though the heavens gave us 38mm of rain last night. Thankfully today the sun came out and made for perfect caching and event weather.
And yet again this was a very well run and fun event. The BBQ catering was superb and we made sure we gave what we could to the RCH. Those burgers are truly the best. The venue is ideal and we were lucky enough (or brutal enough) to get 2nd in the meet and greet bingo game.
Thank you to the Old Blokes, the Lions Club and to Loddon Tourism for this great event.

Day 2 of the roadtrip with GoodLook and CPwanderer started with attending the A Day Out in Wedderburn event and ended with us attending the A Day Out in Wedderburn. The Evening Meal event In between that, I found 10 caches and we had a great day catching up with lots of other teams in the field or at the events
We had a ball and found some great caches and I finally got to do the multi in the middle of Wedderburn instead of having to drive past as usually happens[^]
So cool seeing some great people again and even though we were a bit rushed as we had hoped to find somewhere to wash the car off, we enjoyed the chats we shared prior to heading off caching

Like most of these events, Saturday for me is hockey day. One day that game will be at Wedderburn alas not today. A home games in St. Arnaud would round out my afternoon.
But I still snuck out in the morning and found a few caches and caught up with this motley crew!
As usual it was a great feed, a few coffees and plenty of chatter. Lots of stories; made up of truths, half-truths and outright lies. Most of the stories had me in tears of laughter.
Thanks Bob and Brian. Another great day out.

Attended here with the two kids for our second year in a row and it keeps getting better and better - such a fab day (unfortunately we couldn't stay for the dinner). I had a great time catching up with fellow cachers and meeting new ones. The BBQ was delicious and the kids loved there box of goodies (thanks geobutterfly79). Planning to stay again for the whole weekend next year so let us know the dates early to lock it all in! Many thanks
Such a pleasure to be able to attend this event again this year. Yummy food and lots of cachers ready for a chat. All too soon, we were on our way again. Unfound caches were waiting for us. Thanks for organising this event - and the lovely weather!
Our 2nd year attending this event and looking forward to next year already!
So great to catch up with friendly faces as usual and awesome caches to be found.
With the old blokes awesome annual event this weekend, we made sure to make the trip over from Maryborough.
boo09, neisha07 & myself met up with GemmaSistema & co, forming Team Clarmensma and headed off for a morning caching.
Mud. So much mud! There were a few tentative maneuvers to get my low XR6 where I wanted it to be. Twice we failed and were thankful for fellow Geocachers letting us jump in the back of their 4x4.
After a fun lunchtime event, we had to head to an event in Melbourne via Newstead.
We traveled down to Logan, then over past the Melville caves before heading down to Arnold where we said Goodbye to the other half of Team Clarmensma and continued on to Maldon then Newstead.
A great day was had and we look forward to coming back in a hardier vehicle to grab some more we missed! TFTC!

Yet another awesome weekend. Great to catch up with some fellow cachers. Thanks again to everyone involved TFTE
We enjoyed attending this fantastic event and will most certainly be coming back in 2017!
It was lovely chatting to everyone and the bbq lunch later in the day when we popped back was DELICIOUS!!! YUM!! We even made it back just in time for the group photo.
Day 2 of 3 - Attended whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache from Adelaide to Wedderburn, Victoria. The aim of the trip was to attend "A Day Out in Wedderburn 2016" all day caching event (TICK [^] ) and then enjoy the Evening Meal event (TICK [^] ).
During this weekend we found some fun and creative caches and caught up with our Victorian geofriends once again.
The funny one-liner comments flowed all weekend and my belly hurt from all of the laughter!! [:o)] [^].
Unfortunately we had a minor car accident last night whilst traveling to Wedderburn [B)] - lost control of the vehicle (fortunately we were traveling very slowly) and we got bogged on a wet and slippery Victorian country dirt road [xx(]...ummmm.....at the time we may have been heading toward a possible gold which we missed , however we did eventually get out of the mud after a long wait and exchanging a fair bit of cash [:(!].
I LOVE geocaching [:X], but I HATE mud [:(!]!! LOL
Thanks for the fab event the old blokes, you guys are legends!!

We made our annual trek to Wedderburn for an awesome weekend, of caching, friends and laughter.
Travelling with TheTritonz, The Empire and Sully1 at this stage, although this changed numerous times over the weekend.
It was very noticeable the effect of the WA Event, as this event was a LOT smaller than last year.
However, really enjoyed catching up with old friends and make new ones this year. The sausages and Hamburgers were cooked to perfection and a great fuelling for the rest of the day.
Great games, bingo sheets etc.
Looking forward to 2017.

Attended 2016. couldn't stop the attendance streak! And lucky we turned up to help others with their bingo sheets.
Great to see people enjoying this meet & greet - and the lovely food, of course!! The chat was interesting and friendly, as usual, and we did catch up with some geo-friends.
The Cache Hounds loved the sausages, especially being fed to them by young geocahcers, and they loved the attention too.
Thanks old Blokes, another fantastic and fun event.

Once again there was a fantastic turnout for this great annual event. The weather was much kinder than yesterday although quite cool in the shade. The company was great. The tucker was great. The whole event was great.
Thank you, the old blokes, for holding this event again. It's one of very few real highlights of the annual caching calendar and one definitely not to be missed.
This was our 63rd event attendance, and our 3595th smiley. Log signed at 1131Hrs. I was working toward making this event our 3600th smiley but got delayed this morning by a dead gps. That meant a few less finds along the way over.

Couldn't miss out on this highlight of our annual geocaching calendar! I was quite amazed to see how many people were there when we arrived. The BBQ was, as usual, excellent and it was great to see so many familiar friendly faces. Thanks to the old blokes for turning on another great event in perfect weather
Well here we are in Wedderburn for another event just love these events, great day a lot drier than last night lol , thanks to all those involved for a well attended and enjoyable day
After deciding late yesterday arvo to attend, left Melbourne in decent weather only to be caught in the 5pm friday night snarl. Mr original papillon4506 was unable to attend so a long drive ahead on my own. The lovely lady at the Motel rang twice. Once to see if I was still coming and the second to see if all was good, that is how bad the weather was. I arrived at my accomodation to find the heater had been put on for me and I had a lovely warm room waiting. After a great brekky, I headed off to the event, checked in and went on my merry cache hunting way. Headed back to event headquarters for a yummy lunch and a chat with lots of new faces and a few I had met at others events. Went off to do some more caches and was very greatful for the help from the great lady at the Tourist Info, very knowledgable about the area and things of interest. More caches under my belt and realised I was heading for Melbourne. These caches certainly can lead you astray. Oh well, I had neither booked accomodation nor a meal so home I went. I had heard it was a great event and was not dissappointed. Planning to be back next year. THANK HEAPS to "THE OLD BLOKES" and all other involved in organising such a great day.
This was one of my " 1st " events that I attended a couple of years ago , without as a newbie didn't know what goes on but now I do and I really enjoy events and the events' " atmosphere " its the adventure . Thanks for the effort and planning and liaison with the local community , its a big job I would imagine . Thanks the old blokes for another great event .
As always an entertaining day with some great caches. Thanks the Old Blokes for all the work put in to making it a wonderful day.
Another great event put un by the old blokes, got here Friday night, and the rain started we all
hoped that it wouldn't ruin the Saturday event, But no! this event was put on by the old blokes,
Saturday came the sun was out, BBQ was soon in action, and soon all the happy cachers were turning
to this great event.

Over in Wedderburn with Mrs Tyred n cranky for the days events and some cache hunting.
Well this is an event that is always a must attend for me. as it is a great days out and always a great gathering.
Once again, even with a number of regular attendees over in the West, there was a large gathering.
With a bit of banter, some interesting stories, Great snags on the BBQ and a few PT trades it was once again an enjoyable event.

Arrived here with the Convoy from this morning. Oh how a cup of tea was welcome Next stop was getting around to chat to so many, meeting some of the newer teams I'd previously not met, and then finally to the BBQ for a Burger. A great event, as always. Despite the mass interstate exodus to the West and the North and overseas, and for various other reasons, the numbers were still fantastic here today. The BBQ was, as always - AWESOME. Was thrilled to see the proceeds going back to RCH again, so a little extra from me Great job done by the Local Lions and all others who helped to put this together today. The bonus was that there wasnt a cloud in the sky all morning, the sun was shining over here brighlty. Thanks to everyone involved and of course - the old blokes. Wish I could give a fave
My first Wedderburn event and my first visit to the village. Most impressed! Thank you for hosting the event and luring me to this part of the world!
Thanks for your help. I passed a convoy of geocaches heading west on the Calder as I was heading into Wedderburn.
Thank you so much for organising this terrific event again. So much hard work and effort for us fellow cachers. The tea and coffee were great and much appreciated and the hamburgers were delicious. Great to see the donations go to charity too. We loved it and look forward to next year already.
Thank you to the old blokes.( but you are not that old anyway ) great effort!!

Accomodation organised, sully will be there. 1 X adult, many thanks, once again, I'm looking forward to this now highly acclaimed Annual pilgrimage to Wedderburn.
YES we can attend this year as it does not clash with any of our bicycle rides that we do. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone and finding those specially hidden caches for the day.
Apologies, but after coming for every year since inception, things have not turned out as we planned this year so we won't be able to attend. See you all next year.

Would we miss this? Not blinking likely. We had to rearrange our travel plans to slot it in, but that's done now, accommodation booked and we've put it on the calendar as a definite. Thanks for running it again this year.
We missed last year. Accommodation has been booked and Robmc and I will be there.
At last a weekend I'm not on night shift. Love to come to another Old Blokes Event.
Good to see Sharkiefan is suppling the flake for the bbq too!
Thanks, Robmc.

Sorry guys but we are not going to be able to come to this event this year, we are going to be in Queensland and heading further north. We are sorry to be missing this great event that we have attended every year thus far. Have a great time and hope it's bigger and better than ever.
Hi there,
We have hockey again that day but it's at home in St. Arnaud. I'll hang around for a while then head up to play a game and come back later that night.
Looking forward to it.
At the moment just me, but Charm Quark1 and the then 6 year old Cache Monkey may turn up
