Visited on the weekend & could not locate this tiny one myself so with recent issues have reluctantly decided to archive this one of the original drug alphabet series. The location is also too muggle frequented now for a fun search so will let this one go & find a new A drug to replace in another location in the future. So after 8yrs & 5mths with 115 Finds & 16 DNFs, the Aspirin is being withdrawn from the geocaching medicine cabinet. Thanks to all those who took the time to visit.?????????
Given the previous logs and lapse of time I wasnt too confident about this one but had one of those extraordinarily lucky finds, searching the ground in case what had been jammed was no longer jammed and somehow even given the size of this one, quickly had the cache in hand with a perfectly dry and signable log. A nice puzzle with a great outcome! Unfortunately didnt have any wire with me so for now jammed back in at GZ at shoelace level.
We were asked to house sit at the Sunny Coast for the Australia Dad weekend so that a German exchange student could stay home to meet other international students. Considering a long time ago I signed a cache with the challenge of 555 sunny coast caches and I have only 83....I thought this would be an opportunity to get a few more towards my goal. With two puppies and two children and extreme humidity and then rain, I didn't get as many as I would have liked to, but there are a few more in my list now. Looked a hard as I could without looking too crazy for not being one of the hundreds of people walking on the path.
Theres good news, and not so good newsA beautiful day in these parts and I was happy to wander around and see if I could wrap up the caches in this particular section. At GZ, I went here, there and everywhere before resorting to a systematic search which led to the cache coming into view right in front of my nose which made me laugh. I guess the hint refers to the size? The not so good news is that as soon as I touched the cache, the corroded attachment mechanism broke. So after signing up, I wedged the cache into position at the same level and where it should be safe.So TFTC but sorry that some maintenance will be required.
Just a heads up for the next visitor to bring maybe a length of fishing wire to tie the tiny cache back in place.
The cover of rain gave me the necessary time to search for this one. Eventually spotted. TFTC.
Up from Brisbane for the weekend to share sometime with friends and a few schoolies, I was up early and out on the hunt for caches. After solving this one last night. I found my way quickly to ground zero and quickly spotted the prize. After extracting the log and making my mark, the cache was quickly returned to its hiding place and a little happy dance was performed. Yep one step closer to a challenge cache Im working on.A big thanks for the cache owner making this cache available to be found.
Clever me! I walked right out to the end of the breakwater for this one. A good hint helped me get my numbers up.
A quick solve after checking in at a local motel after leaving K’Gari and dropping our eldest at the airport nearby.
After expanding our search area away from the tree, I spotted the nano hanging nearby.
Not sure what the last finder found as the cache is in good condition.
TFTC.

Well… found the remnants of the cache. Reported to CO. Looks like maintenance is needed. TFTC.
So many muggles staring at me as I awkwardly jumped up and down trying to feel over branches. Probably hidden in plain sight. Ahhhh. Will have to come back to this one another time
We’re back on the Sunshine Coast for a few weeks.
OCW with PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa.
This one did give me a headache at GZ last year so I’m glad to say after prawns for lunch we quickly had CIH.

Puzzle solved easily at home - nicely constructed! - and then a quick find just down the boardwalk from where we are staying. Needed a TOTT to remove the log which is in good condition with lots of space left. Thanks!
On our 4th attempt in 3 years, we have finally made it from Camden to Currimundi and are spending Christmas with our family who live up here ️ it is lovely to be back on the sunny coast after so long ️
Catching up with the family for a boxing day late afternoon swim and picnic dinner at Fisherman's Park. Haven't been to The Spit for ages and forgot just how lovely it is. Water was beautiful and refreshing. Having solved this one ahead of time, I thought I'd take a stroll with the geo nieces and nephew and introduce them to geocaching. Unfortunately in fading light, this one proved too good for us today. Thanks anyway!

Today we found A is for Aspirin on our travels. We are on another visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting! We did the angry bee dance here for a bit but eventually figured out what needed to be done
Thanks spiderwebbs4 for being part of our geocaching fun.

Had this little puzzle solved in advance, and surprised my 71 y.o. self that I could recite the rote learnt periodic table from high school days ...... at least enough of to get the required numbers ! Unfortunately like another player we found that the corrected coordinates did not want to kick over on the app map in order to get us to GZ. However by other means, and the hint, and previous logs we got there in the end. TFTC.
Solved the puzzle eons ago and was wondering why the final co-ords were still on the map view.
A slight drizzle was useful to minimize the muggle brigade so a quick find was had. Container and contents both in dry, good condition. I will give this one an A as no Aspirin needed to solve... TFTC spiderwebbs4

A planned weekend trip up to the sunshine coast to grab a few caches. I still need a few more to get me closer to that sunshine coast challenge. The trip worked in well for the Sunday morning CITO event in Coolum.
I meet up with Esmiley and we spent Saturday, day and night, caching areas that neither of us had been to before. We were not certain if the recent rains and floods would have effected any of the caches but we gave it a shot.
We first of hit the Sippy Downs area and we had some fun. Many of the caches here took much longer than they should have; we spent way too much time trying to find simple caches. We then moved towards the north, working our way to Coolum however, time ran out and we had to stop for the day. It seemed as though the day was getting hotter as it went on and got even worse during the night.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches, some I kept notes on, some were just great caches and some I really do not understand why. We signed all logs with both names and replaced as we found them.
This one took me a while to find, I knew it was there I just could not see it the first ten times I walked past. So many people walking past wondering what I was doing I’m sure. Thanks for this one nice puzzle and I need to open my eyes.

Alycem89 and myself ventured out for a few hours to grab a few caches on the stunning Sunny Coast and what a day to do it because it was a beautiful warm day to do some exploring.
Easy solve on the go and a fairly easy find after dismissing a couple locations at first. Very busy here today given it’s a Friday and as you could imagine it was a nightmare finding a parking spot.
Thanks for bringing us here.

I saw that this little cache had recently been replaced and we decided a cache and fish and chips would be a nice outing today. Parked close by which was a good surprise for this area and spotted the cache on approach. After signing the new log we headed over the road for lunch. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the puzzle and the cache.
No luck for us here with this one. We came for a lovely walk, during a non-raining window, and had a good search.
Thanks for the puzzle spiderwebbs4

Suspicious piece of fishing line with nothing attached. Have the right spot just not sure if it is still there. HNB
Problem solved and checked. All correct, but after 2 days of searching a DNF for us.
I searched the area for 20 minutes until the light faded but I couldn't locate the cache
On an early morning walk we solved the cache and headed to GZ. The longest part was avoiding the moguls activity. A constant stream of muggles doing their morning exercise. During the break in rain we signed the log. TFTC.

Saturday. I thought the D rating was for the puzzle... so I did wonder. At GZ I was on my own as Mr SP had to stay with the car and try to find a parking spot in Planet Central here. So many people taking advantage of the lovely weather today. Cache was spotted in clear view (although only a cacher looking for it would spot it). Log was full so tweezers used to retrieve it and a new piece of paper ready to go for next finder.
This was the 9th of 11 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***spiderwebbs4*** for showing us this place

Solved this one a few days ago while my kids were swimming at the beach. This afternoon we went for a walk and collected a few caches along the way. Cache broke while we were unscrewing it. Will send you a message. TFTC
Solved the puzzle a while ago but couldn’t locate the cache today and with minimal time had to give up. Thanks for the puzzle .
Out for a ride around Mooloolaba, grabbing caches and the AL along the way. I had solved the puzzle with some ease a while back. I will say that the hide is probably harder than the puzzle. At GZ, I searched in a lot of places, even going over the other side of the path, and I came back to the correct side for one final look before I carried on, and there it was, right where I had looked earlier! Thanks for another puzzle and hide SW4!

I've invited myself to join RoddyC's group while they are in my new territory. Lol
Solved the puzzle but I think I added a lot of xs to the checker. I blame the 0 and O confusion. Silly eyes.
Quick find by RoddyC at gz.

Here for a day's outing with the Merekats. At GZ we sat and calculated the coordinates while various boats went past. It was then a short walk to make the find. TFTC.
Very pleased to redeem this one thanks to a tip from the CO. Good eyesight definitely needed to find this one!
Atomic alright! Solved the puzzle at home on the Gold Coast. Up here for a long weekend getting as many as I can. Tiny one a little off the cords. Persistence pays here. Walked right up to it after a 10 minute search.

The Esky family were headed to Mooloolaba for a few days. This morning the younger two Esky Boys wanted to go for a swim at the beach - crazy!!! While Mr E supervised the swimming I decided to go for a walk with the oldest Esky Boy who, like me, was not keen on swimming in winter. Wandered around a bit at GZ before resorting to a PAF...but as it usually happens as soon as you ask for help you spot what you came for. Nice ‘hide’! Happy to find a puzzle I have had solved for ages. TFTC spiderwebbs4
We had worked out the coordinates a while ago and now where on the coast. Took a little while to find with all the muggles around.

On a lovely Sunny Coast day out, I decided to pick up a few caches whilst here.
Solved the puzzle easily, and after a bit of looking around found the cache.
I dropped the lid while trying to sign the cache, and my pen didn't work too well on the paper. I managed a smiley face.
Thanks for the cache.

Having a seafood lunch at the spit and decided I needed a cache fix. Solved while eating calamari and then off to find after we'd finished. A quick check at GZ and I knew it must be a little off, which a log or two confirmed the update. I thought I would have trouble spotting it but the gods were smiling and I just happen to eye off the tiny beast pretty quickly. Some days you just get lucky TFTC and the brain exercise
Our second visit to this beautiful place - greetings from Auckland, New Zealand. We are on holiday with family in the very sunny Sunshine Coast for a week staying in Mooloolaba. We have solved a few puzzles in and around the area, with this being one of them. Enjoyed the walk out to get this one, this sure is a lovely place! Cache took a few minutes to spot and a very sneaky one at that. Glad to tick this one off the list, TFTPC!
While camping in the area with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and find a few more caches ...
Have looked for this one a couple of times in the past, but was always at the end of a days caching and getting dark. [xx)]
This time decided to look round lunch time so I would have plenty time and light to look. [^]
And what happens - I see it as I walk towards GZ !!
How did I missed this previously ??
All Good .. TFTC ..

Staying near Mooloolaba for a couple of days. So many enjoyable walkways and waterways to visit. Solved this a while ago knowing we would be visiting. For some reason we thought the clue was Black on Black which helped. Later realised that was another cache. TFTC
We were planning a caching trip down at the spit this morning and when I saw this cache on the map, I was drawn to it. I have an aquired allergy to aspirin, and in fact all salicylates and Mr STW can't take aspirin because he's on anti-thrombotic medication. So we haven't had aspirin in the house for years!
The puzzle was completed in no time as we have the right background there, and after an initial hiccup where we realised, "Oh, we made a mistake", then , "Oh, another mistake", we managed to fix both errors and have the checker light up green.
At GZ we wandered around a bit before reading the logs and realising that the cache was no longer in a tree. Then it was a quick find. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.

Had a search of the fence, the light that pole and the other fence. Cache was not revealing itself to me. And also I thought with the occassional showers it would be quieter. Jolly school holidays
Out for a walk after solving this one. A brief search and found. Log signed. TFTC
Very cute little cache, think we have never came across this kind. Thank you spiderweb
Great cache . Found on our second attempt. Didn’t have a pen but will sign on next visit to this top place. Thanks for the cache.
Great puzzle and finally solved it. But couldn’t find the cache. Muggled? Or didn’t we look hard enough for the tiny container?
Found this with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
On the sunny coast for the weekend and today we are making our way from Golden Beach to the GIFF event in Nambour. This cache was solved last week and on our list for today. Luckily for me Jess was there as she spotted this one. Thanks for the puzzle and cache, spiderwebbs4!
Took a day off work today to unwind after a busy month or two. While most of that time was allocated to doing lots of little jobs, some of that time was spent caching...
This was my after-jobs cache. I solved this easy puzzle at home before embarking and it is always a pleasant walk in this area, and a beautiful day. I reached GZ a bit confused, but then saw that the cache had been moved to a structure. That helped... and cache was soon in hand. The hardest bit was extracting the log...! And I dropped the lid a couple of times... but luckily found it ok.
Plenty of guys working out at the nearby exercise thingie, too absorbed in their muscles to notice me.

Staying on the Sunshine Coast for a night while attending a few appointments. Booked a motel nearby when my amazing geowife had a look on the map and spotted this puzzle.. a few minutes of problem solving and we had the final coords. So we had dinner and made the decision to go for a walk.. after a short stroll we were at gz and managed to make a quick find under the stealth of night... all is good with this cache... thanks spiderwebbs4!
Found on a beautiful evening walk with geohubby WallabyTim. Relieved that we spotted the little sucker with only one mobile phone torch between us to search with! TFTC
Checked on this one today and due to some savage pruning the cache's branch has been removed and the 2 trees nearby no longer provide suitable cover for hiding a cache.
Replaced with a new tiny container attached to a nearby structure rather than the tree.

Fun puzzle and today my muggle friend and i went to sea life ( nurses get in free this month) and after i wanted to pick up a few solved puzzles. We were lucky to find a park nearby. At gz my gps was bouncing around and after around 10 minutes it finally settled and my muggle friend spotted the cache. Thankyou for the fun puzzle and cache. Day 7 of our family holiday and a solo morning walk for me today while Mrs KE enjoyed a sleep in. This was one of a hand full of puzzles I solved before coming so I thought I best find it when passing today. The container didn't take too long to spot from a distance and once the foot traffic abated I could make the find.

Tuesday Travels with bb and Rio. We are on a mission today, to collect some solved puzzle caches, to like some traffic lights and have a lovely walk around the wilds of Mooloolaba. Not to mention a bit of drive - we're not sure yet where we'll go, LOL!

Selva Girls told us she had a solved puzzle nearby, so I was more than happy to go along and add my name to the log. Today i was invited out up the coast with Selvagirls and Stortigirls to do some caching so jumped at the chance. Nice quick find. TFTC,
Sorted this puzzle while in the caravan waiting for Geohubby to return from the shop. Once he was back we set off in the search. Cache was found in good condition in gaps between muggles and the log signed and returned. Thanks for a puzzle I could work out and thanks for the smilie. Cheers and happy caching!
