Our last day of holidays in Jurien Bay & finding a few caches before heading off this was another one we thought we should have a look for... This one was a quick find & we added our names to the logbook
TFTC chailee2020 [^] Not sure how long this one will be here for as the container is totally fallen apart & logbook a soggy mess.

Love chasing down and funding archived caches.

We were able to find this archived cache with help from the previous logs. Cache was still in place but the plastic is starting to perish and fell apart a bit in my hands. No real weather protection for the log book at this point. Unfortunately we didn't have anything handy to fix that.
In Jurien Bay for the weekend so while the kids and other families went snokeling I went out caching.

Staying in Cervantes for a few nights and while on our way to Leeman for lunch as have heard they have the best fish &chips along the coast here, I managed to grabbed a few caches along the way
While I went and grabbed this one muggle had a brickie from across the road come and see what we were up to as he has seen a few people stop.
We explained and I showed him the logbook to prove nothing illegal then we sat and chatted to him, a really lovely guy whose son has an absolutely beautiful christian name which is the same as my surname

Had noted previous logs so with that information this was a nice quick find. Found completely in the open so although there's not a lot of cover round I replaced it with a bit more. TFTC # 11,374
Finally found the piece of paper I wrote down my found caches on. Now to log them
Followed the coordinates that others had noted and made a quick find. TFTC

Correct cords S30 18.862 E115 01.554 - please take a new container.
Ha ha..... this one was interesting as the cords are so far out. We stopped right next to a power hump on a vacant block and thought it surely cant be there. I started reading the previous logs which said go another 100 or so metres and thought you have to be kidding, it could be anywhere. Well..... maybe we are pretty cleaver after all because we spotted something that was a bit of a give away and headed down the road further - the name of the cache kind of had us thinking we was in the correct spot but where would the cache be? I started hunting then Ian decided to join in - he pretty quickly found it. Hooray!
The lid on the cache is broken and has a rather big hole - unfortunately as we had just had our car detailed we had removed all of our cache fixing equipment and not put it back so didn't have a replacement. We turned the box upside down on the off chance that it might rain again thinking up-side down would stop water entering.
the new cords are ..
thanks chailee

Good find with new co-ords. Container is brittle snd needs replacing. Otherwise all good
This cache is not at the given cords - 100 metres out - should be S30 18.862 E115 01.554
It seems the owner hasn’t visited GC for over a year and now the cache box has a large hole in the lid.
Maintenance required along with change to cords.

This cache has had incorrect cords for a considerable period, they are over 100 metres out. The cache box is damaged with a large hole in its lid. The owner hasn’t been on the site since September 2016.

Also dropped traveling Buddha.

After a lot of searching we finally found it- yep like all previous logs it’s 106m from co-ordinates.. think bush..
When we arrived at the expected location I was initially stumped but throwing the amended coordinates into Map app on my phone took me to within 1 metre of it! Thanks, lovely beach nearby.
That took way longer than it should have.
We read previous logs to know it was about 100 metres out.
Desperately needs coordinates update.

Nice little find at the start of turquoise trail!! Geocache location is a bit off but description is perfect
We headed off on a return road trip today to add some more numbers and claim some smileys, definitely read the previous logs to get the correct coordinates TFTC
Looked in wrong place then read logs and looked in the right place.
Travel 106m to the beginning of Turquoise Bay trail and there you will find the cache.

Found with skippy46 on the way home from our sandy cape getaway! As stated in previoys logs co ords are 106m out. Tftc
Read the recent activity before attempting... Found that cache 106m away from coordinates. Name of the cache was the biggest clue to help find it! TFTC
Stopped at this cache whilst on a roadtrip with Eliktrisiti. We didn't find as many caches in the Geraldton area as we had hoped for, and after being home for a week or so, I have decided that the motto I would adopt for these logs would be this: It isn't the destination that is important, it is the journey!
In a nutshell, we had fun and that is what it is all about. Great company, lots of interesting locations, good variety of caches, even got to meet one of the local geocachers while out and about, and of course, we came home with a whole swag of smileys.
This cache was found on the homeward journey. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache chailee2020.

Coordinates did not match description . Looked in both spots without success. Will try again maybe tomorrow.
Found using the previous cachers updated coords--they are a must! Nice place for a cache though, thanks for placing here.
Just had to come back to this one and try again. This time with much more luck. Co ords are still out though. I suggest ignore the co ords and go by the description.
DNF, this one is so confusing. The Co ords are no where near the start of the trail. Looked all along the path edge but still came up with nothing. Don't know how others have managed to find it! Will try again another day when I have more time
Treated to a break by neva2old , so out late night caching after a few wine. Found your cache tftc
Lahierra and I are on a trip through Australia to visit this wide and varied country. Geocaching always helps us to find the most interesting places. This night we spent in the caravan park in Jurien Bay, and before dinner we went for a walk along the beach and back through the village.
Here we could not find anything at the coordinates given. But after reading some previous logs we used the ones provided by another cacher and could find the box more than 100m off.

Headed back up to Geraldton for another caching run (third time this year). We started off by picking up as many caches as we could in the wheatbelt on the first day before arriving in Geraldton. The next day we headed up to port Gregory and Kalbarri and the highlight of the day would have to be be the pink lakes in port Gregory. Day 3 saw us caching in Geraldton picking up some we missed last time and clearing up a few of our DNFS here before adding some more DNFS to the list. Day 4 we headed off to mount magnet picking up some caches along the way till we arrived there. I must say the caches in mount magnet were quite tricky to find and it was also a stinking hot day so we didn't get to find all the caches we were hoping to find there. The last day we cached along the coast on the way home. Once again it was stinking hot and we missed doing a lot of the caches we hoped to find plus the flies were driving us crazy but we still got to visit some great places. Most of the caches we looked for we did find and we came across some very sneaky well made cache containers along the way. Thanks to all the CO,s for placing there caches for us and all the other geocachers to find.
Co-ords need to be changed

A nice cache in a beautiful part of the world but we had to talk the advice of previous finders and looked for the cache at s30 18.860 e115 01.551. Thanks chailee2020.
Beautiful afternoon in Durien and enjoyed doing the rounds of town with iluvtrekking. Found using the correct co-ords noted in previous logs. Thanks chailee2020

Hi there chailee2020.
We found your cache **"Turquoise Coast Classic"** at 12:52:00 PM today, so this makes our find count 14547.
We are camping in Jurian Bay for a few days, on our way south from Geraldton to Perth.
Today the plan was to attempt some 4WD caches, followed by some that were a little closer to our camp site. - We had a very interesting day bouncing around on the sandy tracks. The views from some of the beach access tracks were quite spectacular - an all a wonderful morning caching. Our final tally was 6 finds and 1 DNF's.
Luckily we read the previous logs. The coordinates provided by IF & Everlasting are much more accurate.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 107 metres from where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We went back today with new coords supplied by previous finder, thanks Everlasting we soon found the crushed container that was the cache. I emptied out my lunch box & used it as a replacement (1lt sistema) signed the logbook & CITO the rubbish. All's as good as new at the new coords. TFTC
Originally logged under clan-wallace. Geohubby wants his own caching name so guess who is relogging the lot for him?

Krabiboy and I hatched a plan a few weeks ago to head this way and grab some smilies . The weather forecast was not great but we packed the swags and took off for a couple of nights We had a great time darting all over the place adding to our tallies. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches.

I have been looking for a chance to come up to Jurien Bay and surrounds to claim some of the older caches in the area. I mentioned my very rough plans to jinta29, and before long we had set aside this weekend to make the trip.
Found nice and quickly using If's coords. Pity about the state of the container. We added our names to the log and then replaced as best we could.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

Well, we found this one, but only because if had provided the real coords some 100 metres from the posted ones! The CO really needs to fix this.
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Alansee and micaparamedic (logged as ACMPMM), at 0905. Thank goodness for If's coordinates, as the posted ones are 107m away! A beautiful morning again. Our thanks to chailee2020.
I headed out to this end of towne by geomobile and rather than park close to the coords,
thought it prudent to park about 90 metres away,
to avoid the stares of the people in the house on the corner
Odd place to hide a cache I thought as I hopped out of the geomobile,
and today impossible to go unnoticed at GZ [:o]
I had a quick peek at the cache notes I had with me.
'bout 90 metres out according to one note,
which is where I was standing !!
I had a quick poke around and found the cache in 15 seconds flat
