Me and rattll are on a three week roadie around the South Island. We spent last night at Wakefield, and cached between there and Nelson, before finding a spot for the night along the waterfront. The Great Geocaching Grand Tour of New Zealand Cemeteries rolls on! This is the third(!) cache for the Richmond Cemetery. An easy find at GZ, although had to stretch to reach it. All well in the container. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Since we were in the area doing the ad lab series, we figured we might as well see what else is here. This was a nice straight forward find. Thanks for putting it here
After years on our bucket list and three cancellations due to Covid, we are thrilled to finally be here. Following several cruises we flew from Sydney, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand to begin our next adventure. Picked up our rental vehicle and will be driving, exploring, hiking, and caching both islands for 3.5 weeks. It's a lovely, warm afternoon for caching. Cache was found, log signed, and we placed the container back as found. Thanks for adding to our adventure today, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl, Arkansas, USA
Didnt see its little hole straight away. Well hidden. Came here to do the ad lab. Tftc
Thanks for your geocache here.
We found it in conjunction with doing the Ad Lab in this cemetery .

Day 4 with Supernannny and Net61 in Nelson exploring this part of the country. A Qquick find in the first place I looked, while doing the cemetery ad lab. Tftc
Quick & easy find, however as per PF comments this cache is floating in a pool of water at GZ, we fished it out, opened it, only to find a saturated log, non-waterproof paper, impossible to sign. I’m logging it as needing maintenance. TFTF
16 April 2022 17:28. Headed out to visit the AL nearby and stopped for this one as well. TFTC
A quick find on my wander around the area before catching up with an old friend
Our South Island holiday is rapidly coming to an end, but we are making the most of a few extra days caching thanks to a lack of available space on the Cook Strait ferry. As always our priority is puzzles, but we are happy to collect the odd trad along the way, and this was one of them. Nice easy find, TFTC
Having a kid at home isolating all day sends me barmy. So tonight I’m off to catch some fresh air and some caches. A good walk around the neighbourhood logging caches gives an added satisfaction! Quiet on the streets tonight. TFTC.
I could tell where hobo was going to be as I approached. Having just finished the AL in the wrong order and then 'there and back again' for the bonus, I was passing here and knew where I would put it. Great little hidey hole, nice cache hide. TFTC.
Quick find while out doing the adventure lab cache. Lovely old cemetery with some young residents.
I did a little tour of Hobo’s place as I started at the wrong side. I did like all main the branches of the tree. TFTC no.13.
Having found the others here we decided we had better try for this one too cache found and obtained - log signed - thanks for the cache
Finishing up in the cemetery, having completed the Adventure Lab and a few normal caches. Didn't realise this had something to extract the container with - that would have saved my hand from getting rather icky! All nice and dry here - TFTC.
Found with NZDi while on a road trip to Nelson. At 18 months old, our Grandson is growing out of the toys that we bought for him for when he visits and the local stores had slim pickings, so a trip to the metropolis of Nelson was deemed necessary by NZDi. Also of slim pickings were local geocaches required for the latest GCHQ 'Reach the Peak' challenge, so I was up for a trip as well. Mount Vinson on the Antarctic continent was today's target. We had already reached Base Camp but an ascent of 4892m was required to get this months challenge. Fortunately Nelson has a plethora of Ad Lab Caches which is a quick and easy way to ascend a mountain, so a selection were targeted along with the odd mystery cache here and there.
Having got the nearby Ad Lab and it's associated Bous cache, we noticed a couple of traditionals, so decided to take advantage of the situation and grab them as well. There was only one other person in the vicinity, but their attention was elsewhere, so we made a safe find and return.

thought we were gonna have to brave the spiderwebs! but keep looking and you’ll see it
I needed a few finds today to meet my goal of 14 finds on each calendar day. I would have found this one quicker, but a muggle stopped by to see if I had found any bird's nests. TFTC.

On a 3 week geocaching trip with woolwood9 around the top of the South Island.
*Very nice find for us here.*
SL **tm/ww NZ**, but may appear as a black smudge on the many wet logs or plastic log strips.
*Thanks for the reason to visit this location and for the cache!*
Raining nearly all day again today.

Quick find. Unfortunately no log just container. Had some paper on hand so used that. Good opportunity for ghostly chats with kiddos (and other related topics). Thanks for the cache never been here before.
Not many muggles around at the cemetery today, I told my 4 year old which tree the cache was in and he found it pretty quick !
I took my Dad over to Nelson to see his Aunt. I stayed with my Great Aunt tonight and found this while doing the adventure lab. Thanks no.13 for creating this hide. It was find 8764 for me.

Thank you for this cache, no.13.
I had walked around the Cemetery to claim the set of Adventure Labs; this was closeby and I was pleased to find it.

Very cool! Loved having a look around the dead centre of Richmond. And thanks for the cable tie; I hate bugs! TFTC!
A nice little hide, no problems with this cache grabbed just before finding the last leg of the Adventure lab cache. TFTC no.13.
I’m in Brightwater staying with a friend for the weekend, and while geocaching was not the reason I am here it is a good chance to grab a few that I find on our travels now that the lockdown has eased enough to allow us to get out there a bit more.

In Nelson for a few days for work. Took the opportunity to grab a few caches with clues for the mystery at the museum. A quick find here. TFTC

Staying for a few days in the Nelson and able to pick off a cache or two. Thanks, no 13, for placing your cache. All good and safe.
A quick find once at GZ. Quite surprised that it doesn't have a single favourite. So we'll give it one. TFTC
Visiting from Auckland, staying nearby. Lovely evening for a walk and some caches. Gps led straight to the place, then a nice find. Nice way of hiding this type of container, well done. Signed and replaced. TFTC
Was in the area today organizing some tradespeople so managed to fit in a couple of caches. A quick find with all in good order. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks no. 13 for the cache.
A quick wander across the cemetery and a quick find, all in good order. Thanks No.13 for the cache it's a very interesting spot.
#16089. I worked from home near here for 18 months, and my morning tea routine was to go for a walk that went through the cemetery, so it's an area I know well. Good to call by again. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on day 2 of our long weekend trip to Nelson.
Not far from where we used to live in Richmond, so a familiar area. This was the last cache of the day, now time to head back to base for a well deserved cuppa. TFTC.

The ants were enjoying this one today! Quick find, just had to shake the ants off first. Quiet day in this very well kept cemetery.
Taybeedragon and I are in Nelson taking some stress off a later trip to Christchurch to hunt for the elusive turtle. I thought this section of the cycle way might be a could place to find the dragon that hopefully will give us some tips to finding that turtle. Well, we found that dragon, but the turtle, as expected, is proving to be a problem. I don't think it is here in Nelson.
This has to be the biggest holy I have ever seen! I always thought holy was a bush, not a TREE!

The Seagnoid, Toby and I are off to Nelson to hopefully find some hidden creatures along our way. Its an early start out of Blenheim just after 6am. Weather forecast is for rain , but its stayed mostly fine for our cycle along the estuary making it a pleasant cycle. Its mid afternoon now and the rain has arrive, but we want another couple of caches. So Toby lets go!
Wow what a big holly tree. We have come to to visit Hobo today and disturb his peace for a few minutes while we tag this one. Cheers

I was visiting my grandparents memorial and noted that this cache was very close so I just had to find it. Perfect hiding spot too. Thanks no.13.
Out on my evening walk and following the caches...straight to it but had to clear a spider and a few ants...tftc
We visited friends who were down from the B of P. They asked if I was still a geocacher. I checked out the nearby caches and we went for a walk. Tftc
