After an event nearby I was heading to a different cache when I noticed I was near by this one. Another player who was at the event gave me a tip and it was a quick find. TFTC
A well camoed cache. Fortunately we were looking in the right season. After a late start e set off to complete the lower section of the Dog's Head Trail. On the way we finished of a Lab and picked up a puzzle but had to pass on some tree-fishing caches as there were too many muggles about. With that part of the trail complete and the rest left for another day we headed out to the Walka Water Works. Time to do some walking, rather than in and out of the car. The area was a surprise with lots of interesting features, particularly the building. The current works detracted somewhat, but we guess the work must be done.Another great day!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache kingfisher_au.**SKI Pair****
Clever camo! TFTC Found it with the Geohusband @Nosmada and the Geokiddies @Pesaus @WyattWild
Haha I love it!!! Adorable spot thankful for being short or if have missed it haha
Getting my healthy dose of caching in on a hot day. That's not how I usually find a bison, but spotted it once I was down to 1m at GZ. TFTC
Third time is a charm as I managed to make a find on this - must have needed a full stomach to think/see clearly which the locale helped woth greatly.
Thanks for this crafty series CO - I'll recap and dish out a fave to my most enjoyed in the series.

Took the kids out on a windy day in this now deserted area and raced from the carpark to a likely location but was still stumped for a bit.
Kingfisher, I haven't cached for a while because I got sick of the eclipse tins and throw down hides. This is why I like to cache. Found it via Cacher for Garmin watch.

Tftc easy find great camo but did not take us long because from where we come from they are just as hard.
Found with Shaneo58. Spending the day catching up un some closer caches north/west of us. Nice quick find, after walking around the hospital and parking in the paddock.
Log signed and cache replaced as found.

This one was found quickly despite there being no parking nearby. This parking lot always was very busy near the hospital TFTC

Met up with Big Matt this afternoon to find a few caches before heading over to Paterson for a catch up dinner with some out of town cachers, and we targeted some of this series.
Once we parked at the nearby parking spot, we wandered over and quickly made the find. As always we enjoyed this cache!

An afternoon caching with Marcus Vitruvius. I was lucky enough to wander straight to this one and spotted something out of place as some of the camp has worn of.
Thanks kingfisher_au for the cache.

I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.
Day 3's target was a trip to Frying Pan. The trip was great and the caches along the way and there lots of fun. I was very disappointed at just how many people were camping in a spot like this, I cannot see how it could be enjoyed. The afternoon was finished in Maitland with the Walka Lake Adventure Lab, a fun diversion.

Ha ha ha. Great camo. It had us tricked for a while. Then I was standing in the right position to spot it. Thanks.
I parked here to do a circuit of the Hospital series. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though it was frustrating at times. More muggle activity at most sites than i thought there would be, all at a distance, but inquisitive all the same, so i hope i havent given up the ghost on any of them. They are just in spots that are odd for a person to be in.... Enjoyed reading the historical notes as i went around. Cannot see a No.1 ??. As i approached gz for this one, i am thinking no, it cannot be in there. But lo and behold, it revealed itself after a couple of circuits of the stand. A little of the camo is coming off, and this gave it up. Excellent hide, container and historical content. Fav from me. TFTC.
Came back to this cache after collecting the other healthy matters some time ago. Due to high muggle area we started out early. Had cache in hand and where on our way. TFTC
In Kurri for a weekend of Geocaching with Wazza9, anotger sneaky hide, stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to kingfisher_au for the great series.
Found with Commando04. C04 is def wearing his caching specs today. This one took us quite a while. Another sneaky hide. TFTC
TFTC,
Came up here today with the idea of achieving more than we did. After a while, the numbers didn't matter and rain stopped us from doing some walking caches at a critcal time.
Great to have a chance to do a variety of caches placed by different cachers, thanks for providing and continuing to maintain your caches.

This one was a bit quicker to find, despite how busy it is here. Getting a parking spot is a bit of a challenge though

Headed to the Maitland area with fitzy_1965 & SpecimenX for an extra long weekend of caching.
Day 2 saw us joined by nibletricecakes, Joolay & even Roostaman (who happened to be staying in the same campground as us by chance). Dogs Head Trail was our main aim with others collected along the way.
With the big trail all finished, we pushed on to see if we could get over 300 for the day. All puzzles that we found were pre-solved before heading to the area.
All caches where found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Logs were either signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers, CC, Kapital Krunchers or KK.

Found with fitzy_1965, minniek, Nibletricecakes, Joolay as part of the Canberra Invasion of Maitland and surrounds over an extra long weekend
We'd powered through the surrounding trails and we were now nabbing some urban caches. After parking nearby we wandered down to make the cool but reasonably quick find here Signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers or CC to save log space.
Thanks for the hide, kingfisher_au

19,099. Found as part of the Capital Crunchers Team (fitzy_1965, minniek, specimenX, nibletricecakes and Joolay) during the Canberra Invasion of Maitland region over the long weekend.
After finishing 4 of the trails we still had some time up our sleeves before tonight's event, so we did some urban caches. All were found in great condition, signed and replaced.
Thanks kingfisher_au !! We really appreciate you putting out and maintaining these caches.

Up in Maitland with Nibletricecakes, Fitzy1965, MinnieK and Specimen X, to do the Dogs Head. We will go by the name of Capital Crunchers. We had solved quite a few of the puzzles before coming up and were also chasing other caches around and also favourites one. Really looking forward to finding as many as possible.
Our logs are signed CC, Capital Crunchers or stamped depending who wrote them.
Thanks for the effort in creating these trails and maintaining them.
