Found at 1:19 PM GAFF3.A nice park, but the view from the lookout is being obstructed by the growing trees and bushes.Went straight to where the cache was hidden, but must have missed it by a few centimetres - so that usually means that we start looking all over the place except for that first spot [B)]Took a while to get back there and the very weak attachment device was noticed and replaced very tentatively.Thanks to baman_5
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 21 - Esperance Day. Today turned out to be a long day, with lots of caching and lots of chores to do all over town. When it came to caching, I found myself doing several short walks, but found quite a few great headlands and interesting rock formations. The air temperature was down, but it was hot out in the sun. I ended my day with a drink in a bar overlooking the bay on the esplanade. I'm off further around to the west tomorrow, hopefully another county as well.Before I headed back to camp for lunch, I made a stop here. On our travels we found d ourselves in Esperance and took the opportunity to grab some caches, a lovely little park and a quick find, luckily I put my hand in it first go, thanks for placing it
Our Geocaching with my Nephew and his daughter, came here for my last one while staying at Esperance. A easy find at a pleasant area,tftc.
First place we looked when reaching GZ, which is so lucky as staying any longer would have meant getting carried away by the march flies. Tftc

Took me a hot quarter hour to find this, on a spree today after learning how fun this is! Thanks for the nature trail and good lunch spot!
Half the team had to start heading east for their own medical appointments appointment while the other half stayed with their friends in Geraldton. I'm heading down south and had to pick up a few caches to break up the drive. I'm concentrating mainly on adventure labs, virtual's and earth caches as you don't have to worry about muggles as much but I'm also stopping for any that look like as though they maybe a quick find.
I came to this one on the way to the next point of the adventure lab so I couldn't drive past it when it was so close. This one took me longer than expected to locate this. First off I followed the GPSr which had me some meters away from where the cache was and when it eventually settled on the location I thought it would be . I started the hunt which again took longer than expected as I was looking for a small not a micro but as I was about about to give up something caught my eye and there it was so happily I added our name to the log book and returned everything as it was.

Norseman To Esperance
We had a nights camping at Salmon Gums picking up 2 caches.
Back on the road we have arrived into Esperance, set up camp.
After lunch we toured the coastline doing some caches & an AL.
This was a good way to visit the area.

After crawling around to try and spot this one, it was spyed on the second lap around and I was kicking myself for not seeing it sooner. All good here but the log is full. Sorry nothing with us to replace it. TFTC!
My last day in Esperance before heading to Albany and I decided to come and find a few more caches before leaving. [^]
I must have looked a sight as I was searching down on hands and knees. I did a complete lap without spotting it, but kept coming back to where the coordinates wanted me and it was only after having a much better feel that I put my hand on the cache. I was pleased about that.

Found today after having a DNF 2 days ago. Signed and returned. Nice little park for the grandkids.
We are taking some time off over the Christmas holidays to travel around the South Coast of WA starting at Esperance and heading west.
Out for a morning run while camping at the Overflow at the showgrounds.
I eventually found the way across the railway line and headed up to this one. I ended up approaching from the wrong side but after a bit of bush bashing I made it to GZ. It didn't take to long to locate. I took the easy way out
This was find number 1 for the day.

Approached from wrong direction. Very wary of those crawly creepy things. Back to car to get geo partner to drive to a more accessible spot so he could get to it. Found it.
