No cache in place and disabled for more than 18 months. Time to go, surely?

Found some fishing line but not much else.

Found it and got it signed. Not big enough for our duck race trackables so am now off to find a bigger cache to put them in. Certainly a growing area this one!

We came into town to do some shopping at Rototuna, and to find a few caches while we are in the area. Made this one our first stop. Walked to GZ and quickly saw the cache. Rather easy at this time of year. TFTC.

Found - easier during time of year. Log sheet was very damp. Added waterproof paper that I had with me.

Log was wet. Loved the camo. Tree was a bit bare so not well hidden. Love this area. TFTC

people walk past it and don,t see it

Decided as the fog lifted this afternoon, it was time to go out and find some geocaches for the first time in a few weeks. so out for the walk we went. Walked from the school down the road, had an interesting conversation with a muggle asking him why he was wearing shorts on such a cold day! Log is wet & growing mould. Assume at some point the lid wasn't on tight enough...

Took a drive to see the new high school while no one was around. Very impressive. Quite different to my old schools! Also found a cache. Nifty hide. Thanks very much macswain61

Saw.... Looked....

Hmmm. Tricky

Steed was out alone today, collecting a few caches on this side of town as it was one of our few remaining dot days. I'm now doing the bookwork. His notes say this is a well constructed cache, but a bit exposed he's a bit worried about its long term survival as the development progresses in the area.

Possibly the garden has been replanted?

Enjoyed this placement and thought the hint was also very clever. Had to drive on a little further to look at the new school too. Tftc

Tftc. I imagine it gets quite busy here at certain times of the day. But today, it was nice and quiet. Perfect for a spot of hunting, and a bit of scooter riding. Master scoobydoo quickly spotted this one, while I was attending to a grazed knee of his younger brother. Nice hide!

Like others this one took a while to spot. Initially started looking in the right spot and missed it, so checked a few other spots before returning back to where the GPS was pointing me. Again I missed it as I wasn't looking quite in the right area. Third time the charm though, thanks for the hide.

1705 Made the find after playing indoor bowls. Wanted to fill another dot day so sat in car trying to solve some of the NZ icon series while I waited for the bewitching hour to arrive. Then it was home to bed. Cache all good but I did encounter a snag with it.

Didn't take to long to find this nicely hidden cache.

All quiet here this morning, and a quick find this time.

Early Easter Friday and no one about and this took some time to find tftc

We spent a lot of time here for a negative result.

We had trouble finding this, saw evidence of previous searchers, but thinking outside the box and it was quickly located

8.40pm - All these pairs of eyes looking and nobody could find this one in the dark, it just had to be me to find it. Good camo but hint a little misleading then a security person drives past giving us the evil eye. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... What else can you do In Rotorua for caching fun? We came to Hamilton to attend the monthly event... Now caching our way home.

I took to searching a particular area, but was given the reassurance that it had already been given the fine tooth-comb treatment... I moved on and looked elsewhere. After much time, Gap tells us to stop looking... he'd found the cache in that very spot I was told had been searched... TFTC.

Was hopeful of my first ever ftf here. Unrolling log with fingers crossed... Damn! Beaten by iammrwalker by 40 minutes! Ah well, claiming a spot on the podium as 2nd to find. Awesome area out here. Didn't even know this had all been developed! Nice little cache. Cool camo. Will pick up the others another day soon. TFTC!

{FTF} Well this was a surprise. I decided to call in here again today on my way home from work at about 5:30pm after an unsuccessful attempt last night. The coordinates were excellent and left little doubt as to where to look, although the clue lead me a little astray. Once I stopped searching with a preconception as to what I was looking for I soon found it. Amazingly I discovered a blank log, which makes this my 5th FTF in less than 24 hours. Big thanks to the macswains for placing this cache and the others that have recently been published.

I came here full of confidence having already nabbed a few other FTF's this evening but came up empty. After a short search ( a couple of minutes) I attracted the attention of security from the new school down the road who drove up in their car. I decided to jump back in the car rather than have to try and explain why a middle age man with a head torch was floundering about in a small tree and so we ended up sitting steering at each other for some five minutes or so. With another FTF opportunity elsewhere I decided to bug out. With another FTF (my fourth of the night) under my belt I returned only to attract the attention of my security friend again after an even shorter search time. I decided to head off home and leave this one for some other FTF hounds out there.
