I pulled in here today and suspected where the cache might be, but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't there but something else was! So a FP added just because of that. Then just as I sat back in my car, Mum and dad and a few kids walked up to the cache. They had their smart phone with them and they were obviously about to search GZ for the cache. I smiled as I watched them search and they had no idea whatsoever as to what they were looking for! So after a minute looking perplexed I called them over and a conversation got started. This cache was to be their 2nd cache, not their 2nd cache for the day but their 2nd cache period. They had downloaded a caching app (I presume C:geo) and they had just used it for a nearby cache a few minutes prior. They knew nothing about caching, or Geocaching.com so I spent quite some time building up their enthusiasm and telling them how to become members or premium. THEN I played the hot warm, cold game with them until they found the cache. They were so excited and said they would never have found it otherwise.
So that was a pleasant experience and left them to it!

Out for breakfast today with N&G Ratbag and the dogs, thought Easter was a good time to look for this as things were quiet. Log was wet, and almost full but we managed to squeeze our names in. Clever hide, tftc
Waited for a very curious muggle to pass before making attempt on the hide
Great camo - hope I wasn’t spotted by other 'unseen' muggles!
Many thanks - very clever

I had to walk past this one the first time because of the muggles close by...I then grabbed a couple of other caches and then came back to it...The cache wasn't hidden in the first place I looked, but I soon found what I was after. TFTC
After looking in the regular place, I tried something and found the cache. This one made me smile for more than one reason. TFTC.
Flagstaff fitness was the only witness. My triumphant find blew my mind. At night I had to fight the lack of light. That's all for now. Pow pow wow. Signed Nat and Ella
Nice!! Found straight away, having seen something similar before. Hard to say which of us (Katy or son) spotted it first. Great cache. Thank you

Find #251
We wandered and pondered for a while, then corunnaroad spotted it. We'll done, thanks
News Years Day, perfect for a series of driveby and walkbys in the Waikato. With no-one around parking was pretty easy. Thanks.
Found this one while waiting for dinner, not quite where we first thought but soon located. TFTC
My teen wanted to be this side of town for a few hours & I wanted a stroll, so I indulged him & bookmarked a few caches around here that necessitate a little bit of wander. Parked a reasonable distance away to extend my walking loop and enjoyed my meander, exploring paths I've not been along before. Good cords took me to the well hidden clever cache, TFTC
Wandering to the shops with my son, wondering if there were any caches in the area. Yep, just the one. Found easy enough even with all the muggles hanging around. Looked in the wrong place to start with then the cache just sort of fell into my hands Log is very wet, but still intact. Thanks for a great cache.
Really awesome spot! Took me a few times to find it but once I did it was awesome.
Clever cache! We nearly gave up but had one more look thinking "outside the square" and my son spotted it. Logbook needs more tape. Thanks for the cache.
Couldn't find it we think it's in the tree but my dad got cold standing around
no wonder there is no one around early today, its freezing out here, thought i had an idea of where the cache was but i was wrong, i didnt give up and found it, tftc
This one is my penultimate dot day cache. Must admit to fooling me a few seconds. Deserves a favor point.
Spotted this one quickly and was able to park right next to it.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
1816 After a late night not losing too much money at the casino I strayed to pick this one up on my way home. Parked at GZ and was just getting back into the car with cache when a vehicle came out of the back of the shops. I thought that at this time in the early AM all would be quiet. Once again I was taught that muggles are everywhere and at anytime. Had to smile when I made the find.
Steed spied this one from nearby, but couldn't make a discreet grab. He noted an empty carpark space just in the right place, so he drove around to claim it. He opened up the back of the wagon and was able to get the paperwork done without arousing suspicion. This was his final find for the day, another dozen to add to our tally. TFTC.
I've known where this one was for a long time, but have always been rushing to the dairy for milk, or going by on my way to work. One time I came close but there was too many people around the gym. Tonight I was determined, so made the quick detour, parked close and like a ninja was in and out of there quickly and quietly
Wow don't think I could have possibly guessed what this cache was...found by pure luck how inventive! Love it! Gets a favourite from me. Thanks for the cache!
Tried this one the other day and there was way to many muggles about to even attempt this one. A bit more muggle free this afternoon, but still a few around so I had to be careful hunting for this one. Though it turns out I didn't need to hunt for it at all as I found it straight away!! Signed the log in the car (I managed to get a park within 5m of the cache) before rechecking to see if the coast was clear before re-hiding. A very cool cache so worth a fav point.
Found a handy park and perused the surroundings while we had KFC. Our thoughts were spot on and the cache was quickly grabbed, a fave! TFTC!
That is a new fav!! Looked in all the obvious spots and then thought about it a bit more...good unusual hide.tftc
First road trip for a while and making my way North. Enjoying a variety of caches all adding to the fun of this trip. A quick find here. TFTC
Scared off by a dodgy guy last time, I was determined to get this one this time! Scouted around & then checked something I had discounted previously. There it was! Awesome camo! Number 8 for our after dark mission this evening!
A quick little CITO for the few remaining caches that I have had not yet found about town. Very nice hide but still with a quiet carpark everything is easier.
Great little hide and well placed
thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement

thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement
failed in a previous trip here so came again on Easter Friday morning when no one about, soon in hand tftc
I couldn't find this in the dark last night, but I'm not logging a DNF because the reason I left was more due to the dodgy person scoping out the rubbish & clothing bins nearby more than because I had given up searching. I will be back!
7.55pm - Met up with other cachers from Huntly at the event and decided we would tackle a few newer caches together. Arrived at GZ and the Squirrel soon found log. Hint now came clearer to us. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... What else can you do In Rotorua for caching fun? We came to Hamilton to attend the monthly event... Now caching our way home.
We had dinner with our Huntly friends, then decided to tackle the collection of newer caches that have popped up in the northern suburbs. This was our first stop... We found this to be a little tricky in the dark. Not knowing what to expect. we got into serious search mode. A woman inquired if we were alright, as we must have been a sight in the gloom... After a bit of confusion, we got it. What a great hint! TFTC.

Arrived at GZ, OH no a LPC....no not in the typical place, must be in the cabbage...no.......eventually found the well done camo.
A very late night tonight at work, and today being a dot day, meant I was after a quick find. I suspected this would be and the security man in me quickly spotted something and I wasn't wrong. Fav point added. TFTC! #1262, 7 dot days to go wooooo!
{FTF} I was enjoying a quiet night at home when my wife yelled out that some new Geocaches had been published. They were close, really close but had been published for about half an hour before we had noticed. I quickly grabbed my head torch, phone and a pen and jumped in the car without much idea as to where I was going. I whizzed around Rototuna and got three first to finds and a frustrating DNF and returned home to share my good news with my wife who looked at me like I was an idiot. "You got three FTF's and a DNF? What about the other one?" "ummmm the other one"? I said. So it was back in the car and out again to try for another FTF. This was the furthermost from home and seeing as it was an hour and a half since publication I didn't hold much hope for a blank log sheet this time. But there was! This is a cool hide, well executed and I'm sure will raise some smiles from future finders. Gets a fav from me.
