Headed out for a meeting today around lunch and decided to pop past and claim this cache as a find. It was a bit of a hike but made it without melting and soon had the cache in hand . Extracted the log and made my mark. Cache is in good condition and returned safely without muggle intervention.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by others.Cheers
Found it during a walk through the city. Great CBD cache and needed the size to drop a TB. Tftc
It was a lovely, warm, sunny day to spend the day caching around Perth. After a few suburban caches in the morning, it was into Kings Park for an explore by AL's and a variety of caches as we passed. Continued into the CBD for many more, an enjoyable day exploring the area and its many hidden locations. After dinner, it was back to the car in Kings Park, a busy place still and top spot to take in the night views of the city lights and pleasant on a still warm evening. Thanks for the cache.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor.TFTC. A nice multi that had all the answers. Quick find at GZ.
We grabbed the required info for this cache yesterday and decided to leave it for today since its right outside our accommodation. We loved the overall experience and it brought us to some locations I use to visit when I lived in Perth some time ago, ahh, the memories.Upon arriving at GZ we were daily confident where the cache would be, however, after finding it it wasnt what we expected at all, very creative! Thanks for bringing us here.#4368 - TFTC
Found with Aussiewolves after completing the interesting walk. Thanks for the fun and informative activity. Located GZ quite quickly and signed the log book while sitting at a nearby seat.
#3902 Found with Rieka after completing the very interesting waypoint walk. Thanks for the fun and informative activity. Located GZ quite quickly and signed the log book while sitting at a nearby seat.
Did this multi on a previous trip to Perth so very happy to claim a find at the finale today!Wow, this was a decent sized cache, definitely had to use the shoe-lace technique on the re-hide! Good job!Thank you TheThurstons for placing and maintaining Perth Plaques - War Heroes (T.T) for us and others to find and enjoy!
Since we moved to Perth and got back into the game, I have been wanting to tackle Northbridge for a while. The plan was to catch the bus into the city in the morning, and stay all day grabbing caches. The only issue what order do we do everything in? I noticed a few multi caches with several waypoints. So spent last night (until about 1am) plotting every multi way point, traditional and virtual cache onto google maps, and working out the best method of attack from the bus stop. Im sure there is an easier way to do this but oh well. Its done now.So I set our route. Printed it all out, and it was ready to go! Woke up this morning, packed a lunch, and headed for the city at 10am. We started off slow, as 4 traditional caches were first up, but after that, we were smashing waypoint after waypoint of several different multi caches along St Georges Terrace (STG) whilst taking the occasional detour for the odd virtual/traditional slightly off the path. I must say, planning it out paid off! Otherwise, we would have been walking the length of SGT more than once! (Not ideal).By the time we made it to the end of STG, we had green lights on 4 Multi Caches (Plaques War Heroes, Plaques Government, Plaques Settlers, and Bumming Around). We then made our way down to Elizabeth Quay to collect a few more caches/waypoints, before returning to the bus to head home approximately 5pm.A great day out caching! Racked up 15km on foot!..This cache was one solved on the main path we were following of STG. Some great work done for all of these plaques to be put in. And truth be told, if I wasn't caching, I'd probably have walked straight over them all without thinking twice. Luckily GZ was pretty close to the last waypoint, so was able to sign the log book here. A great final cache at GZ so definitely a favourite point coming your way for your efforts. Really do appreciate hides like these. Thanks!
Out and about with @jamesknowlson in the city for 7 hours today finding geocaches. A fun day with no backtracking due to James perfectly prepared map and schedule of how to get to all the waypoints and stops from all the different caches around the city. We covered 15km on foot and managed to find multiple caches and get the coordinates for some multis that we will come back to at a later date.A very clever hide here that clearly had some effort put into it! I love seeing a geocache and going Wow, they didnt just pop a nano on a structure or a container in the bush! So thanks for that and have a favourite point!Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache! Another smiley on the map
Trobat! Encontrado! Found It!Found It today in a walk around Perth doing some caches. The way following geocaching as a guide.Took me some days for go to all the stages. Today I did all the stages of these multis in a row, solving all the multis and signing some of them. This was a good idea and interesting to solve It. I enjoyed a lot and is my first one. The container is a great camo! All makes me give one fav point here. Moltes grcies! Muchas gracias! Thanks!
TFTC. It is highly muggled area and they look at the place where the cache placed.
Thank for this interessting multi! We had a lot of fun to do this! Greatings from Switzerland SaZy73
Today Courtneyrose_ and I meet up for a few days holiday on my work trip in Perth, exploring the city and surrounds plus finding a few caches as well.
Its great to remember some of the history here, after a walk along collecting the info it was off to GZ where the cache was found and is all good.

While I was signing the logbook some distance away, some muggle came to a dead stop just steps from GZ. She then proceeded to shuffle through papers, fiddle with her phone, and make adjustments to the stroller she had been pushing. Fortunately her back was toward me the entire time, so she couldn't see me silently fuming about this production of several minutes. Eventually she moved on and I was able to replace the container. With running out of time to add our name to the multi's from our mammoth effort on Monday a return visit was required to the CBD. Good Friday was definitely a good day to choose. we were able to drive and park pretty much where we wanted in the morning, although it did get a little busier in the afternoon. Finished the day jumping on our bikes to tackle some further from our free parking options.
A fun filled long day and managed to get 'home' just after sunset. Happy Easter!

Found and solved with lindahe today, our last day in Australia! Excellent camo at the final stage Tftm and greetings from Norway
Gradually ticking these CBD Multi's off on my monthly trips to the west. I've had the answers and final coords for this for a long time now, but never got around to making my way to GZ. This morning, up and out very early before heading to the airport, I headed to the final location and quickly spotted the nicely camo'd container. [^]
I quick scan for muggles, all clear at 05:45, so out with the log and in with my name. I returned the cache as found, then decided to tidy up some of the trads and other multis while the going was good.
Cheers TheThurstons.

I gathered the information for these Perth Plaques caches yesterday, and sorted out the coordinates last night. Today was the day to do the finding. I love a cache that is just boldly out there, in the middle of a busy city, with no one realising it is there. This one takes the cake.
Out on a late-night caching run at 3 AM, the streets were muggle-free as I worked on some of the Adventure Labs. Fun multi here, and I had lunch at the RSL earlier. TFTC
As others have said, that's an amazing hide. How does it not get muggled?
Solved the clues yesterday lunch break then got the smiley today. Pretended to be a phone zombie while looking and found it quite easy in the end. Tyvm

A plan was made to catch up with Geotrakka and try and grab some of the caches around here and on the both sides of the river. We also grabbed the information as we went for the many multis in the city, to come and claim a smiley there in the future as well.
So much building going on and fencing everywhere made today quite challenging. The win of the day was a coin from the Perth mint when we did the virtual there. I also scored a free coffee at another cache. Thanks to the Caches owners for placing and maintaining their caches.

Down in the big smoke for an appointment. Caught up with Neva2old to have a play in the city. Lots of laughs and funny looks from people wondering what these 2 mad middle aged women were up to. Its definitely a slower process in the city - I think I will try after hours or a weekend next. It still amazes that caches can be hidden right here in the city under peoples noses and they have no idea! Thanks to all the COs for the multis, labs and trads today. We didn’t finish them all but we sure kept ourselves busy and look forward to finishing them off.
Thanks Thurstons for putting this enjoyable multi together. Heres a fav for the camo

Arrived at GZ and knew that we’d have to expand our a little with the poor signal in these parts.
An anomaly stuck out to us after a few minutes and the log was in hand.
Took a seat to complete the signing and as I was starting to get everything back a group of muggles started to pass, quick thinking to add some camouflaged to myself I did a few stretches, a newer version of the shoe tie hiding technique I think.

Tuesday night caching with SirFancy and decided to head a bit further afield tonight and try our luck with some multis up near the city.
A couple were worked out on the night but the majority have had solved coordinates for a little while with no opportunity to claim finds.
We had more issues with mozzies tonight than muggles but the constant interruptions had us moving in quickly in most cases.
A fun night out with 5 finds & 0 DNF’s

Thanks TheThurstons for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 3241 for me.

Why did the little girl throw the butter out the window?
To see the butterfly.
Found with stairman1. Our first multi after arriving in Perth. Loved this cache. Took us to all the interesting statues. So much history. All good with the final. Favourite from me. TFTC
Found with goldielover today. We did the hard stuff a couple of nights ago and returned today. While our numbers did not get the tick, we were very close and managed the find.
All good here with your cache.

Took me few days since I artived to Peryh to walk all the stages of the multi caches in the city, but finally made it.
Surprised the cache has not been found since July :-O
I thought I would drop a trackable, but nope.
Thank you for setting this sche up. It was fun.

Solved this one quite some time ago! Easy pickup when minimal people are around at 7am. Thank you
Nice hide and enjoyed the puzzle, don’t know how many times we’ve walked over these without reading them. Signed log, TFTC
Decided on an early morning trip to perth to pick up some caches knowing there wouldnt be many people about. Picked up a number of multis, puzzle caches and traditionals and no DNFS so we had a good morning of caching. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches.
We’ve had this one solved for a little while now, but hadn’t managed to grab the final. I had a meeting almost directly across the road from GZ, so I thought it was time to claim a smiley here. After biding my time waiting for a break in Muggle traffic the cache was soon in hand, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for a great Multi and great cache camo.
Worked out during the day with confirmation from owner.
Doing some night caching before our 5am flight to Melbourne on LawtonCat birthday

What a great walk in the city, love the location of gz and cache. Well done TFTC
Had a great time collecting these answers. Tried to do a couple of multis at the same time but failed miserably... Way to confusing for me and not much phone battery life! Fave point given for this one TFTMC
A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
In a position today to grab the final today after collecting waypoints previously.
Really love the final container. A fave from me.
With Leap Day somewhat of a big deal on the caching calendar, Kyzabra, AlliedOz and I made a plan to meet up and grab as many different cache types as we could prior to the event at Pr Walter.
We met up at Bicton and headed out for a morning of funds, fun and frivolity.
TheThurstons SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache Perth Plaques - War Heroes (T.T.) today at 09:59:22 29 Feb 2020. This brings my find count to 4020
TheThurstons - Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. We love travelling the state and visiting some places that we would only visit due to this game.

Allied_OZ, SVKR_WA, and myself headed out today to try and bag a mixture of caches and types for Leap day before heading to the event at Point Walter.
Having collected the waypoints on many city trips I was happy to come here today and make the find.
A favour point for the camo
Many thanks to TheThurstons for placing and maintaining Perth Plaques - War Heroes (T.T.). We found it, signed it, and put it back as found. We found this one at 9:59 am on Saturday and this is my find 8428.

An early morning start had us heading up to the CBD to begin today’s caching adventures. We had fun cruising around with very few muggles about to disturb us. This cache was one we were able to claim as a smiley today. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there TheThurstons, I was in this area today and found your cache Perth Plaques - War Heroes (T.T.) GC6D6KZ. I added my name to the log book at 8:18 am on 1 February 2020. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

Popped along the terrace on a pleasantly warm lunchtime and made a quick find of a well-constructed cache. Nicely placed so the find was stealthy enough. TFTC!
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
Found on a quick weekend geo-trip to Perth to find some caches.
A nice stroll around the city early on a quiet Saturday morning to gather the required information. TFTC

Finally got round to finding the final the other day when in the City. A solid final cache. Have a favourite for the creativity on that front. Cheers TheThurstons!
We arrived in Perth from Singapore late last night so were a bit slow getting started this morning. The fresh morning air certainly blew away the cobwebs!
We were pleased to spot the clever cache quickly at a quiet final location.
We took the two TBs to move on.

IT had fun this morning collecting info for this and the other ST Georges multi caches. She and Weather spotted teh cache on the way home from the pub tonight, And what a great hide it is. Dropped off a couple of TBS, Def a fav point
Perth Day 1: After having to go to work for half a day, and then catching the next flight to Perth, I landed in Perth only at about 8 pm. I took the bus to the city, and got off a couple of stops early to claim a few caches and made my way to the Air BnB spot on Murray Street. Picked up my first WA caches on this chilly night, and got back to prepare for the days that come.
This is the specific log for the cache:
This was solved with a lot of Streetview and Google work, and after some searching, I got the details right, and the final coordinates even before setting foot in Perth.
Got off the bus a little earlier than my “correct” stop and made my way to the GZ. Spotted the odd item, which turned out to be the cache. Rejoiced at the prospect of signing my first W.A. cache, which turned out to be pretty good one. TFTC!

Visiting Perth for a few weeks, I noticed this interesting building/memorial so stopped to take a closer look... A slight bonus was the multi that gave me a little more of the local area to explore. Thanks for the hide TheThurstons.
It is a beautiful winters day so have headed into the City to clear up some caches and hunt down some multis.

Over in Perth for a week visiting hubby who is work here, Monday I visited the city to grab a few caches in here. Noticed the multi icons in here and started gathering the info from the plaques for a few multis at the same time.
Unfortunately c:geo was not working very well and wasn't showing me the info I needed to find, so luckily the hint had the ones to target.
At home, crunched the numbers and got a final GZ.
Back into the city today to find the finals for a few of these.
At GZ, I was surprised at this cache being out in the open but not really obvious. Managed to find a break in the pedestrian traffic and road traffic to grab the cache, sign the log and return without drawing attention to myself.
Thanks TheThurstons for an interesting history lesson and certainly got my steps up today.
a favourite point from me.

We have spent the whole morning walking up and down St Georges terrace. Have had a great time. The cache was nice and easy to get when you you use the free buses. I am sure visitors would love it too. A favourite.
Another nice "Multi", which has been solved by using Google Street view and other internet sources . Not the easiest way, but challenging somehow . Approaching GZ I quickly found that well camouflaged box.... I gladly leave a FP for this one!

After a visit to the blood bank I had a bit of time to spare. I already had the info for this one and worked out the final so today I walked over to make a grab.
I spotted the likely container when I arrived and waited for a break in the muggle traffic before checking to see if it was it. Yes it was. A clever hide. Worthy of a favourite.

Glad to get a notification from my Watchlist to say that this one had had a check-up and all good to go. Seeing it was a Sunday we thought that a quick look was in order as the likelihood of muggles would be slim; Wrong. Competitors from Perth's "Colour Run 2018" were streaming past GZ. That said, we stood by for a few minutes and when the way was well and truly clear went for the grab. As you'd expect; all's in perfect shape here Thanks TT. We enjoyed the stroll a few weeks ago and now the find. Looking forward to getting up to the CBD to seek out a few more of the TT hides.
Got the green light and ventured to GZ but it must be far too cleverly hidden for us. Blue Dot for us. Thanks anyway TT; just love it when fellow cachers say:"easy find, quick find" and we come up with the first blue dot for the cache; sulking now.
What a mission. I walked St Georges Terrace collecting answers for 4 different Multis all at the same time. I never knew about these plaques and very interesting. Due to a mixture of DNF's, muggles and errors this was the only multi I managed to actually find. I think I was stealthy enough. A fav for the effort, learning and actual camo. TFTC.
In town for an Event today so came early to pound the pavements for this one. The magnets are strong enough to hold it in position. We did our best to put it back in situ. TFTC TheThurstons
A bit of late afternoon-evening caching in the city after the footy, We had previously visited all points for this multi as well as the other multis in city and worked out the finales at home, so with the opportunity we headed back today to sign the log, this is a clever hide and we could’ve been there for ages but it just happened we stood in the right spot and there it was, thanks for this multi, and we must say thank you for the history educaction, yes we actually read every other plaque too TFTC
Thanks for setting this multi cache. Found the plaques after dinner last night. Went back to the hotel to work out the final and found after breakfast this morning. Surprised at the size of the cache for a urban cache.
Did some night caching in the CBD and collected the info for this multi. Returned in the morning to make the find. Impressive cache
This was a very nice multi and gets a favourite for the walk and very easy find! TFTC
Pushed for time today so decided to grab this one between my bus trips and before peak hour set in. Really enjoyed doing this series and look forward to seeing some more.
Early mornig and nobody around. Had fun reading the plaques.
Thanks for the walk and hide.
Thanks for the walk and hide.
Great multi, but the GPSr on my phone doesn't like the city... A quick find of the container during a spare hour around town. Luckily the streets were very quiet and I got to the cache without an audience. Thank you for the hide TheThurstons.
Back in Perth for a couple of days and trying to close some gaps in Caches.. great series.. T4T$
Collected the clues for this one yesterday evening and came back to find the cache today. A not too tricky find once I had the correct area, having found it's twin yesterday! Great cache. TFTC
A nice walk along gathering clues and once at GZ I spotted a ripper camo. Thanks TheThurstons, it was great to complete a multi and find the cache in place. Two other multi DNF's for me this morning.
I found half of the info yesterday during lunchtime and the other half today. When I saw some very plausible coords form from the numbers and I already had an inkling on how this might be hidden on my walk to GZ. It's really well disguised from muggles, but I managed to spot this right away. Well placed indeed. I really enjoyed the walk along the street today, even if the weather wasn't at its best. TFTC TheThurstons
Found the necessary info for this one about a year ago while doing your other multis. Been past the final one before late last year but was too busy to attempt to extract.
Was in the city tonight so detoured here to grab this one. Glad to have it finally found. TFTC.

Having enjoyed the politicians version, I took a post-dinner walk last night to grab the clues for this one - besides, I figured that the GZ would be reasonably close by for a morning stroll.
Sure enough, it was even closer than I thought and despite having had a better night's sleep, a quick stroll saw me with the very clever hide in hand at 07:20 and it was back for brekky.
All good enough for a fave point.
TNLNSL. Thanks TheThurstons.

In town for "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen concert tonight so came a little early to grab some caches and take some photos
With a very painful hip I was glad I didn't have to pound the pavement collecting the info. The other night at home I managed to get a green tick on checker all by myself
Researching my family history helped to get me across the line with this one
Thought I'd get muggle to help find this one but he walked on while I went straight to cache and yelled "bingo" but I actually noticed 'something' the minute I crossed the road
Seriously dont need a GPS to zoom onto GZ, a geocacher notices these things
SL then waited for some ambling muggles to go passed then replaced cache as found
TFTC
Awarding a fav point as a great multi with regards to making us more aware of our WA VC recipients (I have a VC guy on my family tree) and war heroes and also for the 'in plain sight' cache

#4068- Last night on our way to dinner, we found the waypoints and calculated our numbers. But the buildings obviously infer feared with some of the points. And one of our numbers was wrong. I had no idea which- E everything seemed right.... Seeing we were leaving Perth today, and we wanted to get at least one multi, I emailed for any advice.
The owners (Sleepily) emailed me straight back and cleared up my error with the close waypoints.
Today we were on our way to the Nostalgia Box, a gaming museum and hands on games, but we had a bit of spare time before it opened. So we detoured and picked this one up. Yes, plain sight, but only to a cacher. Thank you for a fun, informative, well constructed multi- our only for this trip. Thoroughly enjoyed your caches in the CBD. A favourite from me. took cute bear TB to move on.

A favourite from me. took cute bear TB to move on.

We found this on our last morning in Perth. We'd hunted down the waypoints last night before dinner, but something went wrong and the checker didn't like our answer. We sent a message to the CO, who happened to be in Sydney where we live, and they sent back a prompt reply. We were one digit out on a calculation. So Thankyou to The Thurstons, who supplied a good number of the caches we found during our short stay in Perth.
We walked to this cache this morning before heading off to our planned activity. What a clever placement. It was instantly recognisable to us, but blends in well to the casual eyes of passing muggles. In fact, we passed by it the other day and never suspected anything ourselves. Thanks.

Super great cache! So obvious to the geocacher so hidden for the muggles! Loved doing this multi and reading all the plaques. TFTC
Had a great walk around finding these plaques without geocaching I would not have taken any notice of these tftc

Was at home when got the Text From B12... i originally thought it was going to be the plans for our Thursday adventure or some FTF oportunities yet he wanted to go out again for the night (it was a little cooler by now)
Steve arrived in his high vis gear, i thought to myself this is going to be full on tonight! he jumped in the car and we set off from Cockburn gateways with our sights on the big smoke. on the drive i count help but remember i have a flashing orange light in the storage compartment in the boot and thought it would be rather funny sight and make for a good video later into the evening. Geocacher and Geocar all blending into a high Muggle area.
I generally put too much faith into Steve for writing down clues properly and tonight was no different He made a mess of some multis and luckily he had the CO give him a good nudge to help us get it right. TT settlers and TT war heroes are highly recommended multis. Well worth a look on your next city run.
We also grabbed some simple traditional caches which evened out the night after a few mishaps and DNFs. Thanks to the COs for keeping these caches going in a busy hub like the CBD

Was bored at home doing not much at all so sent Cravo a text asking if he was keen for a CBD caching adventure and he was
Got the high vis gear, he got the orange flashing lights for the car so extra protection from the muggles and we set off from Cockburn gateways with our sights on the big smoke.
