Another quick find today whilst we're out in the sidecar. This is a pretty stretch of road and quite surprisingly secluded given its close proximity to the freeway. TFTC grannygeo64

I had the morning to myself and thought I would go geocaching in the Gippsland area. The focus was the Virtual Geocache in Yinnar, then the Blue puzzle in town and whatever other ones caught my eye. Been meaning to get those 2 geocaches for a long time.

Grabbed this one on the way home. Always driven past on the highway meaning to stop and take a look for this one. Today I still had enough time, so I drove past. Nice quick find.

Thanks for the cache Granny Geo 64

Heading homeward after a weekend in Bairnsdale, we couldn't resist a few detours and cache stops on the way.

Robin Hood trained this one well - with the GZ in the middle of the road, it was toss a coin on which side to start and he led us a merry dance, in, out, up, down, over, under. Finally caught him in a spot we hadn't checked thoroughly enough, just 6m from where the GPS'r suggested.

Satellites today had the GZ 6m NE of where we found the cache.

Sighted trackables:
- TB6RGWE - CFA Coat Button
- TB7CTEB - Cachekinz

Thanks grannygeo64 for placing caches in interesting locations.

Dropped some travel bugs. Thanks for the cache. Feet are now VERY wet. Funny thing is my head decided where it probably was but I couldn’t reach the spot so I didn’t even look there. 10 mins later. Went back to the spot where I thought it was and low and behold there it was. Shaking my head at myself Should just trust my caching instinct.

08-Oct-21
The long wet grass and steepish terrain was a little hazardous and crossing the road after finding a parking place with the geokid in tow was sketchy but we soon had the geocache in our hands after geokid said "maybe it's in there mum" TFTC

Found by Rebel Acts

My good friends Ski Pair were finally back from their northern migration or should we just call it escape the lockdown state trip, anyway it was good to see them again and enjoy a day out caching, we started at Blue Rock dam and made our way to Moe and Morwell to clean up a few caches, the weather was finally nice and we had a great day out.

This is one of the caches I found today. This took us longet than it should have but I ws glad to tick another Moe cache off the unfound list.

Thanks grannygeo64 for the cache.

23-Sep-21
At last we got to right a wrong. Even though we thought we now knew where to look it still took us ages. But we did finally find it.
A lovely day after the past few miserable, wet, windy and earthquaky days, so we decided to team up again with Rebel Acts again and do a few local caches we hadn’t got to. Many of the logs are signed RASP because the alliance is back in action!

YAY - first find of 2021 Big Grin The Frier is certainly tucked away nicely Wink. My GPS kept zeroing at one point constantly. No matter where I looked - up, down or sideways - it took quite sometime to spot GZ. Something finally caught my eye and I had to trust my geo instincts - yep - there it was. Now, how do I retrieve the container? AND what else might be lurking in the shadows? Anyway - long story cut short - the cache was uncovered, the log signed and the cache returned to it's secure hidey spot. Thanks for the hunt grannygeo64, this one had me scratching my head. (The container is a little damp - the log is ok in its bag.)

PS: The Troll Dolls (TN6TR0) were with me on my caching adventures today.

Log book replaced, all ready to go again

03-Dec-19
Once again, this game has led me to a road less travelled. I'm surprised at how quiet it is here, considering how close to the freeway this is. Container and logbook were a bit wet but still managed to sign. Might need a baggie though! TFTC

After a long day geocaching and stopping of to visit my mum on the way home we realised we were one cache short of 20 for the day due to a dnf, so giraffe_legs decided we needed to find a driveby on the last leg home. Torch in hand his persistence paid off and we had the cache in hand. Log slightly damp after all the recent rain. Tftc

Surprising to see the amount of traffic on this road, however a safe parking spot was nearby and I soon had the cache log signed and everything back in place. TFTC Grannygeo64

20-Jun-18
This was a bit of a detour to break up our drive today. Thanks for the cache and the chance to explore this interesting little area.

07-Apr-18
Heading for a drive along the lane here, it was a location that I have not explored before. Parking a bit up, I enjoyed a walk to GZ with the paddocks looking lovely in the morning sunshine. It was a quick find of this good sized container. There was a trackable inside, which I took to head further afield.

Thanks to grannygeo64 for placing this cache.

18-Jan-18
Tftc. Only 2nd time ever I've travelled down this road. Makes you appreciate the extensive cut and fill works undertaken on the adjacent freeway back in the early 70s to get a straighter and flatter route through the Haunted Hills.

23-Oct-17
Nice easy find once I navigated the difficulty (wrong) road in.

***Cache container and log in good condition***

Found it!

20-Jul-17
Found with NoonaB, reading the logs gave us a little bit of a hint as to where we should be searching as the GPS seemed to be bouncing around a fair bit. We extended our search and after rummaging around I finally spotted the well camouflaged cache. As i was signing the log a concerned muggled turned up to enquire about our business, after a very brief explanationof geocaching he was satisfied and on his way. TFTH i really enjoyed this one.

19-Jul-17
Found today with Bigrobv. This was my second attempt at this cache. Last time it had only recently been published, was almost dark and I couldn't find it for the life of me. Today we had plenty of time and daylight and I didn't want to leave without getting a smiley on this one. After reading some other logs indicating the cache might be a few meters away from GZ we expended our search and soon enough Bigrobv found the camouflaged hide. When you know where it is you can't believe that you missed it last time, glad to finally get this one ticked off. Took an awesome little tenpin bowling game and left a bracelet and a bouncy ball. Thanks for the hide Smile

Wow... not found since jan17 Smile)) gps had me walking in circles. Went to the other side of the rd and thought this is a 1.5... surely they don't want me to climb that embankment....??? Focused on one area. Should have put my phone in my pocket. Lol. Great camo for this one. TFTC Smile)

Unfortunately, I have to log a DNF for this one. I approached from the East (Morwell), and was unable to get close to GZ, as there's one section of the track which is washed out and unsuitable for anything less than a 4WD. My work ute wasn't going to cut it this time. Thanks for the adventure down a road I'd never have travelled otherwise Smile

Found on our second visit. TFTC

Came back for a second visit today found the container buried just caught a glimpse of the plastic
gps and satellite pic showed on the hwy side of the Rd which was abt 8 metres out from where we found it
I kept going to the pipe assuming it would be there but was wrong but close !

Well, finally after 4 attempts at this one I can tick it off. Thanks to grannygeo64 for your patience. It is amazing how you can just walk up to a position and see what you are looking for. This one really had me hoodwinked but got there in the end. With misschief18 and Bentley TB.

After a nice day out caching we decided to have another go at this elusive cache.....feeling a bit silly that so many others have found and our geo goggles just couldn't see it. We got a nudge and when we found it...OMG! Clever hide. Tyftc.

About in the area with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. Spent quite a bit of time here, but could not locate it.

Found by Mary & David at 1435. Now we understand the cache name! Enjoyed the views of the hills as we descended, and the cattle and sheep nearby. Also good to see the banksias flowering. Nice camo on the container. Dropped off "Geocaching Road Trip 2015 Tag". Our thanks to grannygeo64.

I had been attending the 7 Months to the Surf Coast Event when the cache owner asked if I done this cache. I said no.
A little bit later on she insisted that I go and find it on my way home.
So I did.
It took me about 5-10 minutes to locate the well camoed cache container. I signed the log and replaced the cache back in hiding spot.
Well done on your first cache hide grannygeo64. A Favourite Point given.

Thanks to suzibound for the lift.

[Scrat](http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=4376822) visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

I'd done a quick search here about a week ago after work but despite my best efforts I could not spot the 'clever lid' of this cache. So in a final ditch effort I returned with mummy long legs today to increase my caching mojo and lo and behold, she spotted it in a matter of minutes. Hooray!! Very creative camo, love the thought put into it. Thanks for a great cache!

Kato Potato and I managed to wrangle a kid-free afternoon so needless to say, we piled into the car and headed off. This cache was first on our list and we had a fun drive in, going up and down the big dippers while happily eating strawberries. We pulled over and Kato described how she'd looked here once before without luck. My caching mojo was high for the day - I'd been working in Maffra in the morning and had knocked off two previous DNFs so I felt good. It turned out well - I spotted the well camouflaged box and excitedly signed the log. TFTC grannygeo64 and a well disguised lid - good work!

DNF Sad

Search for 30 minutes in the rain ....
17/3/2016 14:20 to 14:50 ....

too tricky for me.

Saw a fellow cacher as I was going .. his phone took him to the same location so at least that was one consolation .... wished him luck.
