Is it October yet? Is this geocache going to be replaced or can the listing be archived?
Hi all, I've temporarily removed this cache due to local council works on the footpath. Estimated completion of works end of Oct.
It's the school holidays and a lovely day so why not cache! And visiting a park with multiple playgrounds is a bonus.
We wandered over this way after eating some leafy greens. I was feeling confident due to the previous quick success we had and the ratings on this one. However, it did take us a couple of mins to find this one. I just happen to spot it whilst actually heading for another spot.
Um, not sure how on earth you retrieve this one without leaving the path. We tried and it was impossible. Perhaps this one is not in its original position? We signed and returned it to where we found it.
TFTC.

An easy stroll down the path to this one, though I had to watch out for muggles and cyclists. I didn't get the hint at all, and struggled to see anything likely.
After due consideration, I left the path pretty radically and immediately made the find. The second visitor today once again.

We arrived back today from a cruise holiday and had to hop in the car straight away to take miss 7 to a birthday party in the nearby park.
We were heading to a Canada day event in the afternoon so decided to stay in the park a while longer and grab another couple of caches.
We took a little while to locate this one but soon had in hand and signed and replaced the log as found.
TFTC nascondino - find number 377 for us!

So happy to have this!
Nearly a DNF for a second time!

A beautiful day so I went and attempted another look with nsbc and the family. We found it this time and left a little treasure in there.
Really wanted to find this one with Geokidlet but no luck. We didn't venture too far off the bridge so that might be why.
Found with membsec on a lovely day in the area. Despite the hint leading us astray.
Our plans for today was to spend time with our geoson and partner and possible a tree climb using ropes but that idea fell down so with a small margin of limited time we were able to find this cache while having a pleasant walk around the park.

**# 17006** Found on the start of our 2017 winter escape trip.
A nice fine Autumn day for a drive around the area with The Green Geckos.
Hardly any muggles around here too and not too difficult to find.
Thanks for the cache nascondino,

Out and about on the bike doing the Redcliffe Rail Line Loop back to Petrie. Great day out, 80 km and a bunch of caches from Redcliffe round to Bald Hills.
This morning we downloaded the cartridge for the nearby whereigo, we saw that this one had been replaced. We have been here once before but couldn’t find it so we were happy it was up and running again and we could grab this one on our way.
It was only the other night we saw on news.com about all the sizzlers shutting down and on our drive here today we saw the Strathpine one is now a steak and seafood place. We remembered it being Bonanza, Taco Den, Sizzler and now different again. Oh we laughed how you would have to queue up around the corner and up the street when it first opened just to get a plateful of salad and soft serve ice-cream, we were a lot younger then so it was better than sliced bread, at that age Sizzler was way posher then Maccas!
Don’t take any notice of the nearby sign (cause it isn’t there) but all cachers should watch for unstable edges anyway

Just letting you know the cache is indeed missing. I'll get a replacement sorted in the next few days
I spent a couple of hours walking around the park to complete all the caches that have been placed here since I was here last.
I had started at the other end of the park and completed the other caches in a big loop along the river and then headed to this one.
The tractor mower was active and I had to time my walk across the field so that I did not get in the way. It was a long hot walk out in the open in the middle of the day.
A quick find when I finally arrived at GZ.

A quick find while doing the wherigo cache nearby. I love this park, there's so much to see and do and of course now a variety of caches too!
I found myself close by to this one and actually on the opposite side of the park to where I needed to be for my last find and figured I may as well make the find.
I had a little look and soon enough had the container in my hand and the log was then signed and all replaced.

I was in the area for the Koala Habitat CITO and on my way home. I know the story of this cache as Benny is a good friend of mine and Ive been looking for an opportunity to head over and grab it. I had some time on my hand before I needed to be home, so I made a quick stop and took the walk over. Its a lovely area and I regret not stopping here sooner. TFTC!
When Hot Wheels Duo put out the call for some caching buddies to join her for a night time whereigo cache, she was flooded with like minded mad cachers keen on a night time adventure We joined her for the night together with companions in crime Ardom, team dfl, dranyer, Rothy 6 and Roddy C
The forecast rain had mostly held off for the day, until about 30mins before the appointed meeting time when the skies opened up and it poured down making for quite a wet start to our adventure. Fortunately we are an intrepid lot and a few puddles here and there was not going to get in our way
While we were walking along following directions for the nearby whereigo cache, we managed to pick up a few bonus caches while we were there We located the cache easily and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you nascondino for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

What a night! After the thunderstorms everything was wet, and our feet were absolutely soaked. But even so, after doing the round of two different parks, we decided to pop back in there to do a few more late at night. So on our way over to do the Chirp cache, this was a quick stop off. It was a quick find, thankfully, once we realised it was a Bridge!

Needing some numbers really fast - I put the call out for some caching buddies tonight.
On the way around the lake to the chirp, we stopped to grab this one...RoddyC had it in hand very quickly and did the signing.

My dad is teaching me all his best habits. He parked on the other side of the road and told me we were going to run across a busy two lane double road, what? Almost tripped at the half way point and had to fear for my life as headlights neared. Luckily made it across in one piece just as we got the call to pick up my mum and sister. "If we don't find this in 30 seconds then we're out." It was dark and dad got down and dirty quickly and made the find. Enjoyed the log sheet - a great portrait. Found this worm on the bridge. tftc
This one took us quite a while to find as it was very well hidden. In the end we spotted it from a different level. TNLNSL TFTC
On my way to pick up a nearby challenge cache so I stopped to get this cache on the way. Nice park. Cache was located quickly. Logbook was scrunched up with no waterproofing so likely to get wet soon. TFTC
We continued our walk and soon came to this one. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Found it! 1st find, could not recognise it due to it being a rubbish container. Found with Icecoldies, TFTC.
Found it! There was a magnet on a bottom. I am not sure if it should be on wall? Now its not helping or cache is not on right way. Btw cool pic xD
This was our first find and was alot of fun! I'm not certain that we would have found it without all the helpful comments posted by others in their logs. Thank you nascondino
Heading up to the bridge noted that the magpies have already started to swoop pedestrians so early. Grabbed a branch to wave on the birds made my way to GZ awaiting another muggle to pass by.
Not sure what the local mark was but started at one one level without luck then move for a quick find. TFTC nascindo.

After visiting the local cinema with yig and madscatts to see the new Ninja turtle movie ( epic movie by the way, definitely go and see it) we stopped by the nearby park for a play and to grab this cache.
With the weather looking like it was about to rain on our fun we decided to find the cache first. After all, parks are always fun but finding caches in the rain can sometimes be a bit ordinary for kids. A quick search soon had us finding what we came for. Log signed and cache returned. Then off to ride on the trains before the rain got any heavier.

Out with team benders today and found this one after a short walk from the carpark. I decided to walk up on bridge while Judy stayed on the ground. We had it in our hot little hands in no time signed and replaced and soon on our way again. What an unusual log TFTC
Out with RhoBocacher for a caching Day.
We wandered along to this cache.
RhoBoCacher stayed above and I wandered in below so we would have both areas covered.
Well you know who found it.
Log signed and returned to hide. Unusual log.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks nascondino All good with this cache

Yay! Back in the swing of it now the weather is getting cooler, after a few that have so far eluded us we have a find! TFTC
Out for the day caching with Nikid1 & Lenore1972. School pick up time was rapidly approaching & we had a DNF at our previous cache so were very keen to find this one. We made this much harder for ourselves by sticking to the description & not using our caching sense. Finally I looked where I should have looked much earlier & had the cache in hand. Log signed & cache replaced as found.

Here with Lenore1972 and KerriMG. We made this harder than it needed to be but Kerri made the find exactly where I had already looked- hate that. Love the local marker which I only noticed once we had found the cache. TFTC was a lovely park.
This has been our closest cache to home for some months now but we’ve purposely left it unfound up until today.
You see we’re off to the USA today and there’s a challenge cache over there where the requirements are to find two caches on the same day more than 500 miles apart.
With the time zone between here and there being what they are when we land tomorrow it will really be today. We’ll find a cache as soon as we leave the airport and easily have more than 500 miles.
The only negative was we had to come here really really early before going to the airport. Ah well an early start might help us sleep on the plane.

I was on a challenge trip today walking from Sandgate to Narangba today and picked few caches on my way there.
Pretty hidden place, nice spot - but not for inline skates much! Bit of persistence paid off and cache was in my hands shortly. Clue is nice, but I've noticed what was meant by that after having it.
Thank you for brining me here today.

After a long search of the area I can happily say I finally found it. 2nd for the day and 3rd cache since taking up these adventures yesterday. I've given up my lunch till I'd found it, lol. Now I can eat, yay.
I decided to go back to the clues and haha, by george, I found it. Good hide. Kept me going for over an hour, lol. TFTC

Heading home from a nearby event we decided to pop into this popular park and pick up a few caches. Wandered down the path away from all the muggles and soon had the sneaky cache in hand. Log signed and returned to its hidey hole. TNLNSL TFTC .
After a not great morning at work I decided to go for a walk in the park to look at the river for a bit, was also a chance to stop by a recently appeared cache and with a name like Bennie's bridge how could I resist. As with others before me I didn't see it at first but when I stood in another location it became quite obvious. A large log for a small container and a strangely familiar face on the back. A selfie from a time long ago before selfie was a word and taken in a land far, far away. Thanks to the CO for putting a smile on my face for the afternoon!
1898 - I have been to this Park many times, for both normal activities and to also grab the caches that are here and have been here in the past. But I have never ventured along this part of the path before, so tonight was a great night to change that. There were a couple of cars back near the main car park even at this time of night, but the path was clear. I was lucky and spotted the cache in the very first place I looked at 8:08pm. I replaced it and was soon on my way home. Thanks for the cache nascondino.
Got to the coordinates fairly quickly. Couldn't see any type of marker but after a look around and a read of some other logs I was able to get down and retrieve the cache. Log sheet was well stuck, but after signing I rolled it up nice and tight for a better fit. Thanks for the cache.
#129 but first of the day. Read through some other logs to give us clues and then found straight away. TFTC!
When this was published, I wondered to myself whether to go for the FTF or leave it and try for another further North. The latter option prevailed, however I noticed that the CO had a profile with no finds. New profile of an experienced finder perhaps?
Anyhoo, today was the next available day I could search for this one, so I stopped by after looking for cheap batteries at the Dick Smith closing down sale. Found after a short search. The log sheet is quite bulky for a small bison, and while trying to shoehorn it back in, I managed to drop the tube section over the edge . Luckily it landed on top of the grass, and I was able to jump over and retrieve it. Returned as found.

This cache was found in good condition, and adds to our total of 2309 smilies. Thanks **nascondino** for showing us this spot. Discover our trackable TGQNRV

I saw this come through about two hours after it published. Knowing how close it is to home, it was no surprise djmccullagh was on it within minutes. When I arrived at the final location, I read the hint, but wasn't sure what it was referring to. I changed viewing angles a bit and spotted the container. After signing the log, I thought "What a curious photo". Thanks for the hide nascondino. I don't think I have ever found a cache from someone with a find rating of "0". You should try it sometime, it's fun .
Today I am on my way north to an Event.
So why not find a few caches on the way.
A lovely walk to this one before making an easy find. [^]
