The arch isn’t there anymore, but even looking around and checking the hint didn’t help could not find it ️
I think it may be gone the arch was not there and despite searching the area for a wide perimeter around the location, we found nothing
Might need to check on this one. The archway is gone so I wasn’t sure if you meant the gazebo thing in the middle. There are also no bushes, it’s just a few trees now with some dead leaves around. I had a peek, but couldn’t find much, sorry!
No luck today. Looked high and low but could find no pine one! Good luck everyone else
The arch has been removed from this entrance to the park now. You can still see where the posts were, now filled in with concrete. Also can see the roots of the climbing vine that covered the arch. But look as we might we didn't find it today. We won't stop trying as someone found it recently so it could still be here. John and Jacob 12-06-21
DNF - Not sure which "bush" is being referenced but if its the archway, its not very bushy, and I'm not sure that the hider was sadistic enough to put it in the roses.
I'll try again in the harsh light of day

fantastic hiding place!!!! bit further up from where the gps location is, but still found regardless!
Got to the park and GPS had me somewhere else so I read the clue and realized where I needed to be. Still took time to find but it finally emerged. I had one of these hides in Campbelltown but unfortunately it was muggled.
Co-ords out about 20m but clue and starting on the correct side, had cache in hand quickly.
Super stoked to choose the right side as some irresponsible dog owner left a little present on the other side. TFTC! Such a nice park.
This is one of those sparks that I’ve driven by hundreds of times, but never walked in. Great container! TFTC
Awesome find! A little off the coords, but the hint led us to the correct spot.
After three attempts at this before, I convinced Hawko2017 to come for a quick look after dinner with friends.
He must be my good luck charm, as we immediately spotted the cache.
I had trouble convincing him that it had been much harder than that when I’d looked before.
In fact I’m certain I’d looked exactly where it was, on multiple occasions.
Ah well, it’s a smiley now at last.
Tftc.

It's twilight so relied on phone torch light to find this. TFTC. Loved it, so creative. Had no pen as gremlinkid #2 left this in the car with swag for swaps. Left kids playing in playground while gremlindaddy and I hunted. This is #4 for this afternoon and I found 3 of them. Happy days! Beautiful Park and had no idea its this close to home.
Finally turned this DNF into a smiley!
One of the most unique caches I’ve found.
The log was in pretty bad condition (seems like it has been for a while) so I replaced it with a waterproof log.

Found this one pretty quickly, awesome looking cache and a good hiding spot!
Second attempt to find this one. Used the hint and searches where it said. No luck.
A Christmas find! Great container - Ive never seen one like that. Log is falling apart though. TFTC
Great little cache! The first one I’ve seen like that, and a in a place I go past daily. I have wanted to find this cache for ages, but was put off by other logs, and finally had a chance so I came to find it and after five minutes, there it was. Thanks!
Finally!
My third visit and this time i found it.
After work i decided to stop off and give it another go and with a bit of persistence i was able to find it.
The difficulty on this one may be a little low given how many people struggle wirh it.
Thanks.

After lots of digging around in leaf litter we found a brick and a bottle but no cache! We'll try again another time. AnjieP123 and BadgerOriole
We lived nearby and this is our 3rd attempt to find, I’m not sure it’s still there.
found it!! what a beautiful hiding cache!! sadly had no pen/pencil to sign the log book though.
#1616 First of six quick finds on a beautiful Sunday morning with Rieka. TFTC
A nice spot for a cache! Found after dark. It would have taken me a long time to find without the hint.

Thanks to the hint, I knew where to search as the coordinates are a fair bit out. Great container though.
Thanks P.Q.R.S.
Thanks P.Q.R.S.
We were driving home from Preston’s on the ‘scenic route’ when Mr Gaztek said, “I bet there’s a cache in that park.” Sure enough, he was right. A handy TOTT was stuck in the ground nearby and this helped sift through some heavy leaf litter. Clever container in a really beautiful park. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
P.Q.R.S I found your cache pinecone on 28/1/19, 2:20 pm. This is my find 2240 and find # 6 today. Went by the hint, not GPSr as it is out by 20m. After a scratch around, soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Almost a year ago, I logged a "DNF" for this cache and mentioned that next time I looked, I would find it immediately.
Well, I found it, but certainly not immediately. The coordinates are about 20m out, but the hint is spot on.
Still, it was very well hidden so after about 20 minutes I had cache in hand.

I love the hide that isn't hidden. Nice quick find with Deep_99 SL #3716 on streak day #2264 TFTC
found with Ris768, quick find although I could imagine it being harder later in spring

I had a good look for the cache in the place the hint suggests and further afield. No luck.
Given that its been 4 months since the last time it was located it P.Q.R.S, the CO, might want drop by and check on this one.

Out for a Sunday morning cycle and to grab a few cache on route. Thanks to the hint this one was a quick find, forget the coords. Nice container have seen a few of these before. TFTC #604

Found with morry9.
With the prospect of a newly published Earth Cache to be discovered, 'Cooks river' (GC7J4CC), I put the feelers out to see who else might be interested in checking it out. Brewmaker, Gatherer Hade and morry9 were the keen ones who put up their hands and we hatched a plan to meet up at one of the waypoints in the morning.
Morry9 and I arrived early, with the others held up in traffic, so we started working through the question in anticipation. It seemed we had plenty of time up our sleeves, so I rolled up mine to do an impromptu Cache In Trash Out of the river bank and surrounding area. Lots of bits of plastic, discarded drink containers and even a needle (thankfully with the tip capped) this time. The others arrived on scene and we discussed the features of the river in relation to the question. With an answer supported by all parties, we proceeded to the other waypoints and repeated our efforts, both in terms of the Earth Cache and the CITO'ing. Two full bags of rubbish collected was not a bad start. Brewmaker volunteered to type up our collective answer to the Cache Owner and we were satisfied with our joint efforts. Thanks For The Earth Cache Team MavEtJu.
Being such a nice day along the Cooks River, we decided to go and hunt for some other caches along the walk. Close to one of the waypoints for the Earth Cache was 'Hutton Street Troll (Canterbury)' (GC2ZC0Z) in Hurlstone Park, which was a quick and easy grab as we strolled past (or under) the bridge. On the way back to the cars we stopped past 'Cooks River History - Sugarworks' (GC7E0H9) in Hurlstone Park, which was an interesting read of the local history and highlighted a beautiful building behind us. A nicely concealed hide popped out at me straight away and I was able to sign the log and almost put it back before the others realised hehe. The last group find was on 'Cooks River Cycleway #3' (GC2226Y) in Hurlstone Park, which was nearly interrupted by the construction workers on the nearby bridge - but we managed to get in and get out without any trouble. Thanks For The Caches rinsemesocks, ziggiau and Zalgariath, respectively.
At this point, we said goodbye and departed ways, while morry9 and I continued with a couple more caches, as we made our way back to home base. With a number of unfound caches in the area, I picked one of the closest, 'Canterbury Park cache' (GC7GJAM) in Canterbury. We were able to find the cache fairly easily, and we also found a whole stack of rubbish in the park. So, I felt compelled to do another CITO and pick up as much as I could. We managed to fill up another three bags of rubbish and found two old cricket balls to go with it. So many cigarette butts and plastic ice block wrappers scattered everywhere. At least we were able to make a dent. Thanks For The Cache Lindsay z.
The last one for the day was 'pinecone' (GC6DCCB) in Summer Hill, before we called it quits and grabbed lunch in Ashfield. We had to resort to the hint and, once in the right spot, made a quick find. The co-ordinates are approximately 20-25m out and should be updated accordingly. Thanks For The Cache P.Q.R.S.

A quick find here while in town. Unlike my previous attempt.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found it. After attending a job interview in sydney today for a career change hopefully to dubbo, an afternoon of caching was calling. Managed a handful of mostly traditional caches before returning home south.
Arrived just as a group of old ladies turned up for a bus and waited in the shade for about a half hour.
After they had gone, I spent another half hour in a fruitless search. Will probably see it immediately next time!

Quick find this mourning. Met a fellow geocacher on the way to GZ who had just found the cache.

Took the second attempt but found it after 2 minutes, Can't believe i overlooked it on my last visit.
Found it with some help from previous comments, pinecone hint only really applies once found. Put a decorative little thing back in it. Cool container!!
Our coordinates were super out. Closer to the corner of the park than my compass indicated. Super camo. TFTC
Nice one. First one of these that I have found. I guess it would be harder to find in summer when the wisteria is in bloom. TFTC
Took a slight deviation from my normal route home from work today, after a morning shift, to grab some caches around the Dulwich Hill and Lewisham areas. This was the 4th of 7 finds for the afternoon.
Parked the geomobile at the end of Arlington Street, then did the dash across busy Old Canterbury Road and over to GZ. Checked all around the main feature and eventually spotted something interesting, and on closer inspection it was CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The cache name now makes sense, and it's a nice bit of camo. TFTC P.Q.R.S.

Not the easiest and my GPS was a little off but a bit of digging in the leaves and a few minutes later the cache was in hand. Cool container and a good hide in a nice spot. Tftc.
What a great container! Thanks P.Q.R.S. for placing this very unique hide in an easy-to-grab location that allowed us to have a quick, easy find.
EL65 found this after we removed all the leaves. Only half what we expected but neat! TFTC.
Today I made my way across Sydney to the Canterbury region for some caching.
This was my first stop. Having read a few logs and with a difficulty of 2.5 I was sceptical of finding this in the time frame I had allowed. It also looked challenging on the map being so close to a busy road.
All went well however as I found a spot for the geomobile very close to GZ and walked down to the corner. Hmm this is a busy road and its a very exposed spot. When I bent down to search I realised that actually I was quite well concealed by the bush, but it would be much more difficult in winter with no leaves on it. Wish I'd been here in spring to see the blossom and smell the perfume. I love the plant concealing the cache!
It was a really quick find. The camo container wasn't what I was expecting but I have seen this type once before. I took the cache over to the nearby bus shelter to sign the log and visit some TBs. Replaced the cache and headed on to the next.

Don't you hate it when you find the cache exactly where you've search a little while earlier.
Wish I had found it before I found the remains of a dead bird.
But the area is nice. And muggle activity is low, which enabled me to search for so long.

Spent ages digging in the wrong spot before it turned out to be much more obvious that we expected. Log getting pretty full and a bit damp. TFTC
Like this camo, haven't seen this type before. Thanks to Rainbow spirits new cords and the hint which was very helpful. Last find for the night.
Quick and easy find especially thanks to Rainbow Spirit's updated coords along with the hint. We thought we were right track but these coords confirmed it as our GPS was saying we were quite a bit off. Tftc
Found this one after going on my first little run from Ashfield after injuring my foot 18 months ago. So good to be out pounding hte pavement again, and finding this cache was a nice way to cap it off. It took some hard hunting down, even though I knew what I was looking for. Very well hidden. TFTC
Found it with a bit of help from mini166.Easy cache and cute little pinecone.TFTC
Worked in a few caches during a trip through the inner-west.
This was 4th of 10 finds (and 1 DNF) for the day.
- - -
Had to get down and dirty for this one ... but happily a quick-ish CIH.
This could be a lot more difficult with muggles about.
