Arriving on the ferry from Devonport, we looked for and found a few caches here .We had a lot of fun here and with a lot of skill we got the logbook .Great construction .We would like to leave a favorite point there .MPLC and greetings from us from Germany.
Well this was something different. We hadn't read the cache description beforehand, so one can imagine our surprise when finding this. If cache owner has a replacement container, it could be time to replace it. Thanks for the cache.

Someone had left some sticks which was helpful as we didnt bring any. Awesome first cache
I havent done geo caching for years and I was nannying a couple of kids and we went off to find a cache. Yours was the closest and Ive never done such a neat cache. The kids loved it and we have now converted two muggles Thanks so much for taking the time to make such a neat cache! We now have requests to find two more!
Two Finns backpacking and enjoying life. Our travels continued from Australia to New Zealand and arrived to Auckland yesterday! Today we wondered around the city and logged few caches on our way. This one caught our attention with all the favo points. We found tools needed nearby and succeeded on first try, thank you!

TFTH-cool hide container! Took me second to find tools left by previous cachersTY. Being a Friday evening, the local restaurant had patrons on the patios-so had to be discreet.
Found this one with TTO1 and TTO2 today. TTO1 and I are touring New Zealand with TTO2 for a couple of weeks and our travels brought us by this cache. So, we just had to stop and find it. Were really enjoying our visit and have been exploring lots of cool spots. Im sure that we will still have a lot that we didnt get to see on this trip, so I look forward to coming back again some time to see some more of this beautiful country. We had the patience to get our hands on the log book here. Thanks for the fun!
??????????????????????**6000**??????????????????????This evening we decided to go for a walk through the CBD of Auckland. On our way we found some caches. This Cache was easily found and is in a good condition. Nice idea in the City Center and our 6000. Found!Thank you for the cache!
Luckily there were some tools there, otherwise would have been in trouble But with these - no problem. Thanks!
#4148 Today is day 29 of my geocaching vacation in New Zealand. I'm wandering around Auckland and geocaching.Found it! Nice and easy gadget cache, yet full of fun! FP added.2qt2bstr818, thank you for the cache! -crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan on October 29, 2024 @ 15:14:15[GC6DE9B] N. Roller Mills / AFWT Serie #13 was a D2.0/T1.5 Micro Traditional Cache at the time of finding.
Got a bit worried when I was in the process of this one and someone started coming down the street. Tried to look nonchalant while leaving a tool in place, then the passerby asked if I was getting the geocache Real fun retrieval, fairly quiet location. Sticks available nearby are sufficient for the grab. Thanks for the cache!
We were very pleased that we did this one in the evening as there were net to no muggles about. Having done one similar we knew what we needed to do. Sometimes knowing and doing just don't come together. After a few laughs, we had the cache in hand. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.
Armed with jandals and a chilly bin, a couple of Aussies headed across the ditch for a 3-week tiki tour, exploring the beauty of New Zealand.DAY 1: Landing in Auckland and some local caching. We actually brought some totts from Melbourne, specifically for this, our first physical cache in NZ. Fav point.Kia ora! Thanks for showing us this special place by placing this cache, yorkshirekiwi83 Ka Pai!~~
Tricky. And there was poop on the ground making it even trickier my daughter stood in it. Yuck.
Unfortunately didn't have time this morning. I did appreciate the effort to place this cache.
Such an awesome cache. Had the kids with me soo after finding the spot it was off to the nearby dairy to get some lollie pops. Once back at the HZ the kids worked together to get the cache in hand.
A really inventive inner city cache! We only needed to break one of our tools too! Fp for this creation.
Had to come back with a friend! Using the inside of two pens really helped us to retrieve this cache! Thanks and found 11/9/24
Brilliant hide! I needed to retreat and get some tools, and then apply some patience, slowly does it! TFTC!!
Have had this one on the to find list for a while, and after a particularly rainy failed attempt a couple of months ago, we decided to make another attempt today. The skill required for this one was all Bapgirl, she smashed it out on the first try today, and thankfully there weren't too many people around (although we did get a couple of funny looks). This is a brilliant puzzle which gets an FP from me, TFTC!
Worked together on this one, good job i decided to bring a second pen out today! Tftc
I'm now back in NZ, having spent the last couple of months in Europe, and today I'm traveling to pick up my car that friends have been looking after in my absence. This means experiencing the wonder that is the Auckland Transit public transport system. But seeing as I have all day to get to them, and it's a beautiful winter's day with blue skies and a reasonable temperature I figured that I'd have a good wander around Auckland CBD, which is a rare thing for me so there are a good number of caches for me to find.I first noticed this cache a few years ago, but hadn't made the effort to visit it until today. Arriving at GZ I soon spotted was what I was looking for, but had turned up unprepared so went for a walk around the block to find some things to improvise with before returning to GZ. It was nice and quiet, so I was able to do what I needed to do undisturbed, and I was soon rewarded with the cache. The container is currently damaged but servicable. I soon added my name into the log and replaced it all as found before heading off with a spring in my step for finally getting this one. Thanks for setting this one up. Gets a FP from me.
This was a bit of fun. I had an idea of what would be involved and I was right. We parked the car probably illegally and I used my tools to extract the cache. Out caching with Irondale today in NZ, had a short amount of time in Auckland before heading south to Rotorua today. Had banana crepes for breakfast and this was our first stop of the day. TFTC and have a FP
We are in town putting out a new cache on the waterfront and though we would clock up a few caches towards our cosmic quest while here. With so many likes we wondered what we were in for. Oh the fun the four of us had! Brilliant cache def worthy of a fav point. We emptied out our bags and between us managed to rummage together the tools we might use. We had could of false starts and ended up needing to find a safety stick to help us but then we were off! TFTC
My advice, take two pens! What an amazing creative idea for a cache, and a great find for my first cache in New Zealand! TFTC
After visiting Kelly Tarlton's today whilst it rained, we caught the bus back into the city. Following some souvenir shopping the weather had dried up, so I took the opportunity to find a few caches. This was my next stop as I was intrigued by the high number of favourite points. But it wasn't until I read through the cache page that I realised what lay ahead of me. I had no problem finding where the container was hidden & then the fun & games began! I found something helpful nearby but needed more assistance so went off to search for something. I came back with various choices, but nothing perfect. I managed to make some progress but it was slow & then my tool failed & I had to start again. At this point I contemplated returning later with some more appropriate gear but then I spotted something that was perfect for my task. So I began again & this time made much more rapid progress. Soon afterwards the container was in hand & I signed the logsheet before replacing everything carefully for the next victim! This fun challenge gets a favourite point to add to its collection.Found at 16:44Cache #10396TFTC yorkshirekiwi83
Haha good fun! I had two helpers to helpers to instruct and didn't need to get my hands dirty. :3TFTC from AusPS: Remember to save your progress; save points are important!
Was barking up the wrong tree (or pipe) for a while soon found this amazing cache though! In the city for the world choir games! Tftc
What a cool (but tricky) one to get. Some tools have been left but one is better than the other. Unfortunately my pen didnt come apart and there were a few muggles around so couldnt quite get it out. Thanks for the cache
Woah, such a cool cache. Its handy to have a husband who loves puzzles, he had it half out by the time I started reading the description loved it, thank
Whoever shoved that hook into the cache, blocking the tube, I don't like you very much! Took me 45 mins, 2 broken pens, a torch, and a tonne of patience to get the cache out! However, very clever and a good bit of fun when I wasn't cursing! TFTC!
Whoever thought this one up deserves a medal - insane thought went into it! Thanks for keeping me occupied for a sec and having the couple cars that passed probably wondering what the hell I was up to
Struggling through the steps . But we managed in one try . Favo point for the hiding mechanism. Tftc

Trouve ! / Found it ! Avec diffrent outils ma disposition, j'ai fini par russir rcuprer la bote qui est malheureusement cass et qui prend un peu l'eau. Une petite maintenance serait peut-tre prvoir. Mais super concept.5411me cache trouve.Merci 2qt2bstr818 pour la cache With different tools at my disposal, I ended up managing to recover the box which is unfortunately broken and taking on a little water. A little maintenance might be required. But great concept.5411th cache found.Thank you 2qt2bstr818 for the cache
We are back in Auckland for a brief visit from Brisbane visiting our son for a significant birthday. I had come to this cache more than a year ago but was unprepared, so today I borrowed some wooden skewers and with my muggle husband, we worked together to get the cache container out. Logbook signed and then cache dropped back in. Definitely no one around on a late morning Sunday and I recommend having two people and four sticks to make light work of it. Tftc
Fortunately had the right tools with us, though we appreciated a scrap of something a previous cacher left on a windowsill. Our dog wasnt thrilled because this is too clean of an area for smells SoStephOh and I replaced the log sheet as the previous receipt in the cache was totally sodden.Excellent cash. Thank you for the trouble you took to place it. I wonder if you live nearby or work here? TFTC
Was wandering past so came to check out the cache. Hmm I know the type. Sadly no tools on me to do this one at the moment. Will need to find another quiet time to work on it on a future trip.
Last day in New Zealand we walk through the city and take the boat to Devonport. We pick up some caches along the way. Tftc

a lot of work to do for logging my first cache in Auckland TFTC King Priam from
Found on first visit to NZ, boarding cruise ship tomorrow. Container lid is a little cracked. May need some attention soon. TOTT was very helpful, enjoyed this one a lot. Favorite point given! TFTC
What a fun and unique cache! Thankfully the necessary tools were left by a previous cacher, otherwise I wouldnt have been able to attempt. TFTC
This was a fun one; and thanks to the previous person who left TOTT there - although don't count on them, bring your own!
This took some nice effort, but not to difficult. Greetings from the Netherlands. TFTC.
During our cruise from New Zealand, via Australia, Tasmania, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Mystery Island, Fiji, Bora Bora, Moorea, Tahiti, Raiatea, Maui, Kaua?i, O?ahu and Hawai?i Island we also passed by here and found this cache. This hiding place is a great and surprising idea, which I would like to reward with a favorite point.T4tc and best regardsJoskaranch
Just getting around to logging the caches I found while visiting New Zealand from the U.S. with LaFavorite Cacher. We had a great time traveling around the country seeing the sights and picking up some caches along the way. This was my last cache for the trip. I didn't want to go home!!!!Thank you for being a part of our adventures!Note: LaFavorite Cacher has sent in the answers for any earthcaches or virtuals required for both of us.
This was the last full day that GeoJayne and I spent in New Zealand together. We went to the zoo, ran some errands (guess how much yummy NZ wine she took home in her checked bags?!?), picked up a couple of caches and then headed back to the hotel. We were able to walk around a bit and had a yummy dinner. This was our final geocache together. The sun was beating down on us, but GeoJayne made the find quickly. Getting to the container took teamwork and concentration. In the end, we were able to sign the log but we were drenched in sweat! LOL Dropping a favorite point for this one. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!
Visiting from Nova Scotia Canada, cruising on HAL Volendam around NZ. Very much enjoying Auckland. Thanks
Together with EricaRW found during a nice walk in the park before leaving back to France today. Nice one!MPLC
