Logs
Replaced log as it was full. Grabbing this one after a paragliding AGM I went to. Great little cache on the way home. Streak going well. 240+ days
#869 I was armed with some replacement logs but unfortunately they were not the right size for a nano cache. Had a quick nosey around the shops and headed back to the Cabbage Tree Swamp.
Nice quick find for us. Log book is full, but we found a space to double up and sign Thank you!
I decided to come and find this one while waiting for a muggle to move away from another cache in the nearby park. TFTC
I was early for an event in the park so decided to bring the geohound for a quick walk up here first.A quick and easy find but it took a long time to wind the log up and get it back. The log appears to be full, I just managed to sneak my name in a gap above Eyespyben.
Tftc. A quiet space found in muggle traffic soon had cache discovered. I squeezed into a space that was left but log needs replaced!
Wasn't as easy as it took us a while but what I saw in the comments it was a nano. Got it just as it rained.
Found with @Rickimitsu

Nice quick find whilst hanging around for older son who was at an appointment.
Needs a new log sheet.
Thanks for the cache.

Second day in the land of the long white cloud. TeamARF JACSTeam and myself heading on an adventure! Much fun had today . Had the chance to meet some fab local cachers at an event then after grabbing a few more around the Auckland CBD , we headed north. A cute letter box and signed a few challenges to work on. Thanks for the amazing array of caches . This one I apparently ran my hand over and missed as ARF found it minutes later! Annoyed much
Ahhh, spied the coffee dispensary first then noted there was a cache close by. So trying to look inconspicuous, well as much as three people can be in drizzle whilst playing musical chairs. This seat must have felt very special being felt up while the locals gave up watching (must be considered normal this side of the ditch). After the amateur cachers tried and failed, in I went to areas already searched and found this tiny cache. Another hero that doesn't wear lycra!! All good here BAM!
Day 2: We ( TeamARF, Gcoven and myself) have travelled over from Brisbane, Australia to have a visit since we were not able to make it to the Mega. We have spent some considerable time solving puzzles and making plans in preparation.
Today the plan is to work on completing a challenge we have set for ourselves, attend our early morning event. I’m taking part in a parkrun and then doing some general caching in the CBD and further north to our next accommodation. We have a gigantic list of old, interesting, highly favourited, challenges and a few Geo-arts to try and collect over the next 10 days. There is a good chance we got lazy with our logging and do some joint variation of our initials - TGJ, GJT or JGT.
Please excuse the generic log, just have extremely little data to try and survive on it for the 10 days. However, you can be assured that if we have found your cache it was special to us for some reason or in a special location - so thank you for contributing to our holiday.
I will edit logs when back in Brisbane to add more details to those that need more details and of course I will be adding favourite points as I go along.

Stranded in Auckland due to a flight cancelation. Stayed locally. Walked the dog and while having coffee found there was cache nearby. Thanks.

Thanks TeamBMMR for the cache. It’s #1678 for us. We found your cache on 2 February 2023.
Quick grab after struggling to find a car park- officially, we’re shopping

Quick grab while driving past. Nice place to have a sit after a long day caching. Make sure to grab a delicious coffee if you're here in a morning!
First cache of 2023! Not too much shuffling required, a nice quick find to boost me for the new year
Quick and easy find.
No muggles around, possibly because it’s 11:15 at night. That’s the best time for geocaching tho!
TFTC!

A quick detour while doing the nearby Ad Lab. Last time we came the seat was occupied so good to get it this time. Tftc
After attending a nearby event we stopped here to sign this log. Nice quick find and we were on our way. Thank you for the placement.
After a full day caching this is just what I needed a cache with a seat. Unfortunately it had been raining for the past two hours so no chance for a rest.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
M24: a nice and easy cache to find to finish off the nice sunny day today. TFTC.
Travelled up to Auckland for the Mega this weekend and to visit our daughter. Spent the morning in Western Springs Park collecting some local caches. Then got on the bike and roams the nearby street. Quick find for a geek. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
After tracking down the nearby cheeky monkey I headed here for a rest. Soon had the cache in hand and didn't have to unwind too much to find a place to sign in, cheers BAM!
A day of 2 halves today. First up I was out Westmere way for a stroll on, along and around the reef and walkways as well as doing the new Adv Lab out that way. Nice to avenge a previous DNF too. Was up good and early, even for a weekend day, and out the door just after 0600. Such a great time to be out, traffic was minimal as were the local walkers and muggles. Back home for 0900 and breakfast. Later in the day I got rid of the green waste, then headed on the the new Pub crawl Adv Labs as well as another couple of 'nearby' caches. A great day to be out and about, appreciate your hides COs.

The short version: a quick find in the expected place, all good here.
The long version: When I left home just after lunch and got on the train, it was great blue skies and sunny weather, and my plan was to revisit the TB hotel down the road and then walk over and do an earthcache. When I got off the train it was looking slightly ominous, but still dry. As soon as I got to the park it started bucketing down. Had to note all the trackable numbers as quickly as possible so they didn't get wet, but in the process I got soaked through (despite being prepared with my rain jacket). Anyway, finally finished there but decided I wanted to save the earthcache for another time so I could properly enjoy it without getting more wet. I still needed a cache for today though (streak day #102) but at this point my phone shut itself off as it had had enough of the rain (so had I). I set off in the general direction of the earthcache... but hold on, there's a familiar looking cafe, and a familiar looking seat nearby... and THERE is a cache! Took it under cover to sign the log, but didn't want to handle the paper too much with my wet hands so just added a red scribble in space 18 and put it back. No muggles around... obviously, because who in their right mind would be out in this? So... to end all of that, thanks for the cache, an avenged DNF and saved me a very wet walk. TFTC #522

After spending most of the day today with my daughter and granddaughter, I had time to find one or two caches on my way back to my hotel. I wandered over from Gribblehurst Park after finding the letterbox cache there. Sat down at GZ and found the cache in the second place I looked. TFTC, Biggles.
We walked here and found this cache while waiting for Westfield to open. No issues here. TFTC
As a seasoned Geocacher these caches are quite easy... It's just a matter of where to look for it first.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Its still there! Almost missed it but luckily I had a look after miss 6 said there was nothing there haha. Didn't sign the log cause wasn't keen to re roll the paper sorry
In the area today for Polish food market so decided to grab this hide before.
Hi-vis jacket helps today as coffee was quite busy just opposite the hide.
But no worries at all.
Nice and easy.

Was checking out the nearby café to gauge it’s suitability for an upcoming brunch (it’s a go!) when I thought ‘I haven’t looked for a cache in a while, I wonder if there’s one around here?’ Turned out there was, and a nice quick find too. There are several potential GZ objects around but the navigation & hint led me directly to the right spot. Just as well because the aforementioned café was absolutely packed and it probably would’ve looked dead suss going point to point on a hunt! TFTC
First find!!! Took a second but got there after waiting for muggles to leave. TFTC

Out on another little outing today and this cache was close by to where we ate our healthy and nutritious lunch (apart from the dessert...).
We walked a short 500meter walk up the road and found the cache in a nice tucked-away park.
Unscrewed the container and took out the log - these ones are hard to sign...!
Cache replaced and walked back to continue our fun outing today.
TFTC (Cache in good condition )

Again Streak Week motivated me to get out of the house (along with a few errands to do). Since I was heading to St Lukes I thought I'd stop by this nicely located cache. Nice little park and easy find, TFTC!
Got here early enough to avoid any muggles nearby. Looked in the wrong spot first before refocussing on the right spot. TFTC
#610. I object to being called a geek. Geeks are often sociable and like cool things such as Star Wars. I identify more as a nerd. Nerds have pimples and avoid sports and socialization and sit on computers all day doing sums and computer programming.
But I don't mind... this cache was my cache for the day and helps me keep my streak up.
Now that that's out of the way, I hope you will accept a photo of the cache, because I went for a run to get this cache and when I got there I realised my pen had disintegrated and no longer worked. So I've attached a photo of the cache beside my disintegrated pen.
Thank you very much for the cache!

Showing out family all about caching. Great fast find for our beginner. Tftc
All the nearby businesses were closed and there were no muggles nearby making this an easy find. Nice little park. TFTC.
Auckland Day 7: Mount Eden - Mount Albert
This morning’s weather was horrid, so had to sit at home until the weather cleared up by lunchtime. Headed out after lunch to pick up a few caches, with a particular focus on Multis and Mysteries, and any other Traditionals that I happen to come across along the way. Took a combination of trains and buses to expedite the trip around Auckland’s inner suburbs and collected a decent number of smilies around the city.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
Quick cache found after a heart-stopping moment when I searched the wrong place and couldn’t come up with the cache. Got to the right spot and the cache was found . TFTC!

Nice easy find. These types of gz in Hong Kong are always occupied by muggles! TFTC.
Enjoyed the park. Thanks. Nice respite from the mall. The log needs replacing. TFTC
Felt around everywhere on the bench but couldn't find . Then again, there were a lot of people at the time walking by and at the shops on this Saturday lunchtime so maybe I didn't look hard enough trying to be stealthy. Will try again another time
In the area today with a little spare time, so checked out any cachig activity nearby.... this one was just a few minutes walk down the road, so made a b-line to GZ ...noted the high muggle activity, but managed to make a quick find with nobody any the wiser....
Cache is all good.
TFTC.

After going to the cinema we decided as it wasnt raining anymore to see if there were any geocaches nearby.A nice easy find.
In the area for an appointment and needed a cache to fill our calendar. The geeks were all outside having a break. They were busy chatting among themselves and took no notice of us as we carried out the formalities of signing the cache.
Apparently I am losing my sight as I looked right where it was and missed it. Always double check. This one kind of blended in.
Michaelteacher and I took one each, didn't look closely enough but michaelteacher found it when he rechecked his. Tftc
Was out for the evening in the area and needed a cache to fill in a calendar day, so stopped for a quick sit down. TFTC.
Sunday started out wet and drizzly, but after lunch when it started to show signs of clearing, I decided to head out and do some caching. Nice easy hide here, not to many people out today. TFTC
Almost the last cache for the evening, have been doing complicated multis the last few days, nice to have just a quick drive-by cache! This one fitted the bill nicely. No problems with the find or the cache, thanks for placing TeamBMMR.
