A really great drive out to this cache, My main target for the day. The views from the lookout are spectacular, it was already starting to get hot but nowhere near as hot as it was down at Cessnock later on. A quick find here of a great container in a good spot, the cache is in excellent condition. A fav for the views and the fun drive out here. Thanks for the cache Samuel and Lee tnln replaced as found sl
Another great hide that hasn’t been found for over a year. Cache and log both in excellent condition. TFTC
We decided on a Corrabare expedition today, to find some trig points, and check our caches. The roads have obviously been graded between our visits, easy 2WD stuff today all the way to Flat Rock.
All was in fine shape here, we had enough supplies to completely replace/repair whatever was needed, the cache is like it was hidden yesterday.... lee737

Found with shaneo58, Doing a round trip around the Watagans and the Wollombi area. starting the day with a slight drizzle, but clearing later in the day. It took a while to get here, as this road hasn't been clear of fallen trees, We looked for Watagan Creek Road last time, without seeing the turn off. but that would have been too much of a climb for both of us and we wanted to do 'Majesty' any way, but finished up giving that a miss viewing where to go , and it was wet. The cache was found quickly as per hint. And now all the way back to the main road.
Log signed and cache replaced as found.
**Thanks For The Cache** Samuel737.

Found it today with BillHill531. What an adventure. Low cloud cover and precipitation and half a dozen trees to remove to get here. Cache is in perfect contion. TFTC Team737.
This cache should be accessible on foot from Watagan Creek Road, vehicular access through Corrabare State Forest from Millfield is still closed. Fire maps show this cache should have been spared in the 2019-2020 fires.
The state forest is still closed, we checked it last week, signage still in place....
Corrabare State Forest remains closed, we will keep checking, and check/maintain our caches here when possible.
This state forest is closed at present - we'll check every 2-3wks and post updates, we are planning on checking all of our Corrabare caches when we can...
We parked up near the Flat Rock and then walked on towards Ground Zero where the cache was soon located. We signed the log book to the beautiful sounds of a singing Superb Lyrebird and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
TFTC and the cardio workout. Ended up with a mild asthma attack as I was rushing. Didn’t want to inconvenience the group I was in. Loved the decoy in the log. Had a chuckle. Not sure if it is my unusual sense of humour. A beautiful spot.
catching up on some VERY backlogged logging while in isolation. found with banj5150 (banj ward), log has been dated back to when it was found. tftc
Found with Beary_Unicorns on a sunny Saturday afternoon after an early finish from work, tftc. Fave point from me for the great location and great views. Awesome
I was out today doing another leg in my barefoot hike along the Great North Walk, this one from Watagan Creek to the Congewai Valley, and arrived at this cache just on lunch time.
After soaking up the magnificent view at the lookout, I scrambled up for a quick find in the good hiding place.
Many thanks Samuel and Lee for placing a cache at this excellent spot. Now on along the track to the next cache.

I approached this track via the Great North Walk, starting at Watagan Creek Road! My quads were certainly sore and sorry after that steep incline! However, the view at Flat Rock was totally worth it, despite getting absolutely drenched with rain on the way back to the car TFTC!
Out with the Bush walking club today to flat rock. The group did a shortcut on the gnw right past this cache. I ducked over and made a quick find of a nice sized cache. Had lunch at flat rock and then walked back on the gnw tftc
Found with the_garbageman, Orrsome86 and Fielding Coach on a trip out here to finish off a challenge years in the making. Making good time allowed us to clear out the rest of the caches on this dead end road.
The garbageman had found this previously, so it took a bit of convincing to get him to drive this much further for just us, but he did. Glad he did. It was a great lookout over the hidden valley. We found the cache before enjoying the view. Be careful of the star pickets near the drop off (remnants of an old fence along the cliff). It was late now and still an hour to home, so that's where we headed.
Thanks for the great views, drive and cache!

the garbageman put out a call that he was going to be doing a few caches in the area and if I wanted to join. We had nice walk in the morning then did the easier ones in the afternoon. This was the fifth one of the day and provided yet more views. after finding the cache we moved down to the lookout and took some photos. A great day was had by all. TFTC
Picked this one up after our 2nd FTF and a nice little reward for the effort. Thanks Team 737
We brought my pop up here today to show him Flat Rock.... cache checked - OK..... might have left something for next finder, as it has been a while....
A super view after a nice drive up here. We then ventured further up the track to the lookout and then had some fun with the 4WD along the lower track for a bit. TFTC!

We stopped well before the flat rock in question and followed a motorbike track to the top for an easy find, the views from here just keep on going and going.
We spent the day geocaching with chippyroo out in the 4WD. Was such a nice day to get out and stretch the legs.
After finding the cache we admired the view and continued on. TFTC.

A bit of a grey old day today and after a big night on the Easter eggs we decided a walk might be in order, but somehow it turned into a drive and next thing you know we were up here. There's some lovely views along this ridge line. Very easy in the XTrail but could see why those in a 2wd with lower clearance or smaller tread might struggle in some spots. Maybe not in the wet in a 2wd!
My wife and I walked up from the below valley about 10 years ago on one our first dates/outings together. Brought back some memories and it was nice to bring the kids today for some updated photos! Definitely much easier by car than by foot.
This was a quick find - coords are again within 4m which is pretty good given the tree cover! Lovely solid container. TNLN TFTC

After a good cache find at Tree View we continued up to Flat Rock. We made it all the way in our 2WD and parked at the lookout. What an amazing view from the rock which itself is an interesting formation. After taking in the views we walked back to begin our search for the cache.
As we were approaching GZ we found an interesting little spot on a lower level and happened to find an old geocache by accident! Amazed to have stumbled across a cache just by chance which was last found in September 2011. With a code of GA1754 it appears to be only listed on geocaching Australia. Contents were damp so we added an a little bag to try and protect the log.
We then clambered up higher to make a find on the actual cache that we were after. A great cache, nice and big with some good swaps in there. Thanks for bringing us to a really great location. TFTC!
