Searched the area thoroughly and all under the fallen tree... but couldn't find anything! Even under many of the surrounding trees. The area was recently mowed.
I'm staying near this spot and didn't need a GPS to find the cache today as it was an obvious place for one. The container was surprisingly clean and dry and didn't look like it spends much time outside which made a nice change. I'm looking forward to exploring this area and enjoying the views over the next couple of weeks.
After a period of DNF's here in New Zealand a quick and easy found!! Very lovely place. FavPoint for this nice place.

Wandered down the path from the road and the GPS showed about 30m to go when we spotted a likely hiding spot and the cache was found. Thanks
A very picturesque location, even with the tide out. Very peaceful location with just the sound of the tui feasting on the puriri flower in the trees overhead. A nice quick find here, thanks for showing us this lovely place and TFTC!
Quick find, thanks.
I have waited a long time to recite this poem from my Scottish childhood.
Algy met a bear
The bear was bulgy
The bulge was Algy.
Apologies to all, but I couldn't resist . TFTC

Weather very variable today but still a nice way to spend a Sunday going Geocaching around Kawau Bay. The cache is along our running track and we will now always have to glimpse at GC when passing in the future . TFTC
Cool walk along the beach. Sound some cool little picnic areas we didn't even know about.
Came to stay for Easter weekend in the Bay. Weather was fabulous. My old basic GPS led me to within 5m of the hide. Had to wait a while for muggle swimmers to leave the area before swooping in. Thank you for the hide.
Easier to take the dogs out for a walk on a day like today (very windy and wet) if there is a new cache to find in the area! Made our way to Algies and, despite having lived in the general area for 18 years, have never walked at Algies for some reason. We hadn't checked the tides and with the storm and high tide the beach was an absolute no go (to the disappointment of the dogs because we had them on lead the whole way instead) so we found our way along the path instead. GPSr was 23m out but that may have been due to the weather. After discovering the cache couldn't possibly where my machine had GZ we soon made the find in the logical place - which we should have checked out in the first place anyway. Nice big cache thanks Team Geotron! Picked up the trackable.
