Logs
A day trip from Ballarat up near on Horsham, and then down towards Hamiton before heading for home. This was fun, and a neat cache to honour this Parallel. Log was signed and it was back and off to next one. Thanks for another one NN...
It was my second day of driving back home to Adelaide from Bacchus Marsh, taking my time driving home and finding caches along the way. Today started out as a quite cold and brisk morning though as I eventually got into the caching I began to warm up. The plan for the day was to do a few caches in and around the Beaufort area before continuing the trip slowly caching my way back to Adelaide. My afternoon consisted of just making my way back along the highway, finding caches along the way; along with visiting the waypoints of a few certain multies. All caches were found in good condition before I finished the day in Horsham. Apologies for the generic log as I have plenty to write from my trip away.Find #9812, at 03:42 pmTFTC
Found at 2:40 PM GAFF1.Last cache for the day and then back to camp to relax and open a couple of wines Nearly the 37th - but as I approached GZ I was confronted with a mass of golden orb spiders and their blasted webs - big ones too!Managed to avoid them - but only just and then spotted the contraption swinging on the tree branch. Is that a preform bottle? Looking at the photos now as I write - gosh the container has changed in 8 years - rusty and battered! Thanks to Nards_Nuggles
Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 12.and Tasmania Trip Day 1. The next phase of my journey begins today as I head across towards Geelong to catch the ferry to Tasmania tomorrow night. Apart from one DNF from my last trip I did not stop till some of the new counties in Victoria. I had a big plan for the day but cut it short as the pub I selected to stay in was so relaxing, I could not get out again. I did not see any signs of the fires, so that was good, but it was a long drive and I left my lunch board at the first cache in Victoria. Oh well. A great night in the pub, doing logs in the front bar and a nice lamb cutlet dinner. With cars rushing about I managed to stop safely and get over the road to visit this cache I had no problems once I was in the right area. Thanks for the cache Nards_Nuggles45766.6 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Geocaching NSW 2020 A#435**Albida**
#19190 - 8:39:26 AM; Day two of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip. A last minute change of plans due to my usual partner in crime becoming unavailable saw me heading off in the geomobile and not by air as previously arranged. After a night in Beaufort, I continued the journey west through Ararat, Great Western, Stawell, Dadswells Bridge, Horsham, Dimboola, Nhill and Kaniva, where I was joined by feathertop, before crossing the border into South Australia. It was then on to Bordertown, Keith and Murray Bridge, before returning to Tailem Bend and the accommodation followed an event to wrap up the daily mission. All caches were found in good condition and returned as found once the log was signed. Overshot the runway, but returned to add a find on this one. TFTC Nards_Nuggles
TFTC! 26 February 2024 1:07:22pm 7338 thanks to Nards_Nuggles for the cache! Thanks for the quick stop! Lots of spiders in the area as I managed to stop a little further up! Interesting cache!
Hard finding a good place to park as it's very close to the western highway, thanks for the hide! Found with danielandrew!
How random - yes parking felt awkward and I received many horn blast from drivers suspecting me of being a speed camera vehicle. Cache in good condition. tftc Nards_Nuggles
Nabbed this one while travelling around on naughtybunny's and I Grampians adventure trip. We were off to visit some friends nearby so decided to grab this cache. TNLN. Cheers.
Very cool cache, I love seeing caches that someone has spent a lot of time crafting.

YAY - found 37th Parallel this afternoon. MMM - approached from the wrong direction, managed a U-turn, parked as far off the road as I could and then off to find the cache. Glad it was a quick find in the end. Log was signed and the cache was put back together. NOW - back to battle the next U-turn to head off to the East.
PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great caching adventures today.

Deanside was right when she said spider webs. Resulted in waving s stick to geo with the venture. Just was well the cache could be easily seen it was just navigating to it
Thanks Nards_Nuggles for placing and maintaining for all to enjoy. Nice hide

Found this cache, looking a little bit sorry, which is sad given the number of favourite points. But it was a crazy dash across the road, a face full of spider webs and another happy face on my map
Sir_spectre and I are on our way home from our Christmas adventure. He had already found this but kindly stopped so Icoukd add my name to the logbook.
Thanks
Thanks
As we stopped, we definitely found this to be a random place to be!
But we knew why…
Now the cache was random, a bit hilarious and definitely random!
All good overall with it, still wondering why though…

The first time I've seen a container like this. Took us a little while to work out how to get it open but we got there in the end. TFTC.
Did the geo-dance here and when spotted I wondered why. Was it the effect of the 37th Parallel???
Thanks for a rewarding cache here Nards_Nuggles

Great geocache! Never seen a container like this and loved the Batman decor! Cool to teach the kids about parallels as well! TFTC!
TFTC. Continuing our camping stopover in Ararat, today we ventured out towards Stawell. We started the day with a quick easy find. At Petticoat Gully, just outside Ararat we had three dnfs in a row. The day got better. 16 caches and 3dnfs. Not a bad haul for the day. We saw some interesting sights and places we would not visit without caching.
All in good condition

Glad to be out of lockdown for Regional Victoria. First find for the day. Log was full so left a replacement. TSLS TFTC
I have passed this point so many times thinking that there should be a cache here to note the parallel. The cache was easily found and the log duly signed

Missed the spot (bit hard when you don’t have a navigator and a truck is right behind you!) so parked in nearby driveway and had a lovely stroll through the bush. Brilliant cache - can see why it has got all the favourite points. Lots of effort gone into its construction. Nice lot of appropriate swag in it too, but I signed the log and left it there. TFTC
