On approach to GZ we spotted a likely hiding place and with a reach we had the cache in hand. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks shonkylogic for the cache.

We will head to this one soon and do some maintenance. regards Liz and Bruce
Found by Mary and David at 12:45. Mad dogs and old cachers go out in the midday sun. Log is saturated, but we didn't have a replacement with us. Barely able to write on it. Our thanks to shonkylogic.
Thank goodness we are biking as twas needed for access ….wouldn’t class this as a difficulty 1 considering how we had to be creative to get. TFTC
Hmmm, maybe I was chatting to my high school friend from long ago too much. She even allowed me to stand on her so I could check the hole up high.
A lovely park for a walk, and I did quite a bit of walking here today!
Day 4 & 5 in Maryborough. We thought we would continue to look around town and spend our time caching here. It didn't quite work out as we thought as there were a number of caches in parks and reserves and we ventured wider as well. A good variety of caches and hides all in generally good condition. We had mixed results on a number of tree fishing attempts. Some we just couldn't spot, others we couldn't reach with our fishing pole. Will have to look at some further modifications when we get home! We did manage to get a couple though!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache shonkylogic.

Next, Konie and I made our way to this cache. A quick find was made. Log was too wet to sign, so we added our names on a fresh sheet of paper and left it in the cache. TFTC
In the area today with Selva Girls picking up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
The log book is wet so added a piece of paper with our names. This one needs attention by the CO.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

The cache was quickly located. first inspected the location with a stick, then accessed it.
Unfortunately, the logbook is very wet. That's why I couldn't log it. Unfortunately, I didn't have a replacement with me.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany,

Taken me a while and a few goes...me being 5ft nothing didn't help...luckily I have upper body strength...didn't have a pen on me so will sign it another day...
We will check this one out in the next couple of days, armed with a replacement if necessary.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
06/07/21 Staying in Maryborough Camp site with Caravan and seeing the sights and grabbing some caches. Heading to Bundy this arvo. TFTC SL Not for the short Lol
We found this to be a lovely park to wander through. We did not see any koala's and the creeks were not in flood. SL TFTC
I found this cache on a trip with Snickersallan, I thank all CO's for the time and effort putting out and maintaining the caches, all were enjoyed. TFTC
Day 3 of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and our plan is to do the inner part of town then work our way around the surrounding areas.
On approaching GZ we had a good idea as to where to look and bingo, it was staring at us, thanks CO.

Wow, Mrs C would never have found that, only a tall person can feel that up there! Coongoola & Geodog found your cache today, 2 June 2021 11:16 am , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC shonkylogic
10229 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1500. What a nice area to walk, talk and enjoy the sunshine in. As we wandered along the foot/cycle path it surprised us the many muggles using the area. The birdlife kept us entertained with the whip crack of the Whipbirds and the many smaller birds as well. SL Tnx shonkylogic.

Headed to Hervey bay for my annual pilgrimage to see my daughters on their first day of school for the year. Lucky there's a couple of hundred of caches between Hervey Bay and home.
This was cache **49** of **70** All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless otherwise said, and I thank each of the Cache Owners for placing and maintaing these caches. I apologise for the generic logs, it doen't mean the effort has not gone unnoticed.
Another Liz & Bruce cache! barking up the wrong tree the cache was quickly in hand. Being tall certainly helped. good condition!

Wandered over here today via the scenic route, with The Goons and Liz and Bruce, after a lovely lunch and chat at the Golf Club. Sometimes a T2 is doable for vertically-challenged me, and other times it is not. And I’m not opposed to hauling a tool through the park, but on this occasion we had the assistance of a taller caching buddy

7th find today, we parked and walked around the area, arrived at GZ, I said to Wazza9 I think it's here, I looked and said no, then we looked around and then came back, Wazza9 had a look and quickly put his hand on it, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to skonkylogic

Cache has been muggled, just found the log about 10-15m away from the cache location.
Well tried tge obvious spot got cut, scratched and mrs has a broken back but no success good hide or its gone.
This one was a 'grab of faith'! Mr. Herbz did just that, hoping there were no unseen critters lurking in there guarding the container. Fortunately today there was not! TFTC
TFTC. We are housesitting in Bundaberg for a few months. Having basically cached out Bundaberg, we needed to go further afield. We found some caches in Maryborough last year and there were plenty left to find, including a couple of very new puzzles. We aimed to find caches on the RV Homebase side of the Mary River and then to rectify a dnf from last year. We ended up expanding this a little, as you do. We had an enjoyable day attempting 23 caches for 22 finds and 1 dnf. We also qualified for a challenge cache back in Victoria. Great day and great variety .
Finally found this one after barking up the wrong tree for quite a while as that was where the co-ords led us to. Being not so tall didn’t help either.

It's School holidays, so we are on a Caravan trip with our grandaughter. Today we stay in Maryborough for the Mary Poppins Festival.
Later we walked the dolls and grabbed some caches. Thanks to the COs.

House sitting at River Heads for a few months and today is for discovering some caches in Maryborough. TFTC.
Found after a short search. We made use of the nearby bench and the sunshine to have a morning snack thanks
Those people who know us know that we are both a tad under-tall. This one had an obvious hiding spot, but how to retrieve it? Yeh, we managed!!

A ride in the forest yesterday. A ride in town today. Out with Evie again to visit a few more caches. Mixed fortunes today with the muggles and the finds.
With 54 finds in the last two days a few have fallen out my memory. This is one. At least that means it was probably an easy find.

Kilkivan Cache-up stay Day 3:
Another early start, leaving Kilkivan and heading up through Gundiah and Tiaro before a few hours in Maryborough to find some caches and attend a New Year's event, then heading home to Brissie.
Headed along the path from the river to here, a good chance to stretch the legs after driving a distance.
Checked a few spots further down the hill before moving location and grabbing the container.

Found on Monday 31 Dec. 2018 at09:12 making #6,049.

Found at 1:00 PM GAFF1.
A nice walk through the park with a massive amount of bird chirping going on - makes you feel kind of cheerful!
A good hide that is well protected from floods that is evident from the various signs around the fences and trees - and finally after around one hundred caches that we have found in this sort of a hide - it is well rated for T in our opinion.!
Thanks shonkylogic.

Hi there shonkylogic.
We cached around Maryborough today before catching up with friends that are house sitting nearby. Our total today was 13 caches & we DNF'd 1. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A planned day around Maryborough. Weather not to hot so walked a few kilometres gathering the first 6 caches, rest we were able to drive to.
All caches today were in good order except one which didn't have a container, only a wet log in a plastic bag. SLTFTC
