Often on a Wed night we head up Camp Sladdin but this week we decided to explore a new area with both our geo hounds in tow. We had now spotted other dogs entering the showgrounds so decided to stick along the fenceline (one of ours is dog reactive currently so we try and keep our distance whilst undergoing training). Unfortunately I was so busy watching the dog, navigating to caches, finding and signing logs before dodging out of there to avoid the dogs gaining on us I only wrote 'nice' on my notes! I think I meant ....ooooh nice one.....but honestly my mind is a little blank right now. Might have to return again when we come back for the few we missed. Thanks for the cache - I'll award a fav point!

Another wander through the mud for this one but it was worth it. Nice construction. Luckily I’m not phobic as disturbed a slater family. Thanks for the cache and the series.

Got to love the camo on this one. Host to a few slaters and cockroaches. Not bother by either. So brush them off and log was signed. Tftc

Carried out a maintenance check today. Cache container and log replaced due to container being damaged. Thanks for photos of the damage from previous finders. Original cammo container still used. Cache all ready for more finders.
Arrived here and found the Farmer’s market was happening. Didn’t realise it was going to be so busy. Strolled round and bought some treats then headed off to look for the six caches in the Showgrounds. Managed 4 finds 1 DNF and 1 Didn’t attempt as there were muggles congregating at GZ. Pretty certain I found the broken cache with no log. Left a replacement log but could do with some TLC. Thanks for the smiley
The CO has suggested that we can log this as found (after providing photo evidence) and that they will be carrying our maintenance in the near future. Thank you HeMaLuDy ??.
Unfortunately couldn’t log a find as container was broken and actual log missing. This is the second one today in the Showgrounds that needs attention. Will message owner.

After the last cache Mrs Geckoh was determined to locate the next one and raced off before Mr Geckoh had finished returning the log into the last cache. However, Mr Geckoh quickly overtook her and raced her to locate the cache, again. Once the log was signed we both headed off to the next cache. TFTC

Found it but cache container is completely filled and half destroyed by insects. Maintenance definitely needed

Easy find but for sure needs a better container, lucky the paper is awesome and still signable, we did have to wet wipe and dry to get the mud and bugs off first though ... tftc
Nice to see a slightly different hide. I'm not sure who got the bigger fright, me or the cockroach!
Somehow, managed to find this immediately. Having a nice walk around the grounds with our dogs after a disappointing result in GAR's dog trial this afternoon and finding a few caches is helping ease the pain - unfortunately, our find rate wasn't good in the end. Thanks for the hide HeMeLuDy!

Find number 5977. Made my way across to this one. The men's rugby world cup is on at the moment so appropriate to pick it up. Arrived at GZ to find the log lying in the open. After signing I placed it back into it's hide. Thank you for the placement.

A quick and easy find on a circuit of the showgrounds. Plenty of slaters here! I missed the last one in the middle as there was a worker in their truck right at GZ. Next time. Thanks

Another nice day of caching for the Hidden Creatures challenge. Nice creative hide this one, with a nice camo! I like this series! TFTC

Another afternoon spent down south collecting caches for the Hidden Creatures event. Find 13 more caches to unlock the World Turtle souvenir. Time to enjoy a nice walk in the winter sunshine around the Cleavedon Showgrounds. Disturbed what seemed like hundreds of slaters when removing the cache from its camo. Needed to dislodge them all from said camo before replacing. Favorite point added for this series of caches you have set-up in this park. TFTC 
Was heading back through Clevedon, so decided to stop by and collect the caches in the show grounds reserve. Nice job on the camo, TFTC
