On holidays at the moment, Mrs SP and I have snuck out for a day's caching.
Wow, I would never have known this pathway was here. Like most people we walked straight past the cache. It was Mrs SP that spied it. TFTC dawesy321

Tuesday. Like previous cachers, we managed to walk right past this cache container! Our arrows were pointing us a short distance away from the spot we really needed to be at and after searching a few likely spots, we went back down the steps and as I looked over I called out “there it is!” How could we have missed that!? Lovely spot and I wouldn’t have discovered this little bit of history if this cache hadn’t been placed here.
This was the 2nd of 12 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***dawesy321***, for showing us this place.

Out for the day with nikid1. Such a cute little path. I wasn't very comfortable with the spot we were searching as it was very close to neighbour's properties. Had a proper read of the description & realised we had gone too far down the garden path & had walked straight past the cache without even seeing it.

Nice hide, tried to take me up the garden path further than where it was but eventually found it!
Walked past the cache but on retracing our steps KerriMG made the find. Hilly area (lucky we drove).
Found it. 24 under our belt and only the second one we’ve seen like this. With the previous one under our belt helped us find this one. Couldn’t write in log sorry as bucketing down with rain
Such a cool little cache! Took me a while to spot due to it raining at the time. TFTC 'dawesy321'.
Found it after a short search. I'd been walking past it as my gps was telling me to go further up the path. Eventually spotted a familiar looking object
Thanks for the cache dawesy321

This is our first caching adventure and our little family of four were very excited to find this on our local walking track. Thanks!
Found with bennyboppers jemillalucy mnance and remsjw today after a small search, signed in as tmx5. Tftc
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers, Remsjw and Lisylou). TFTC!
Quick find as Mr Krispy Kreme has seen a few of these previously he knew it was the cache when spotted. Log signed and returned!
Another heritage pathway this warm arvo.
This time it was a very quick find. Quickly back in the aircon comfort and on to the next
Thanks for the cache dawesy321

We got a nice little bit of exercise getting this one as we parked down the hill in the shade of a tree and walked back. After climbing the steps and walking on the path for a look around, we started backtracking and bent over to CITO a can when the cache was spotted quite a distance from where we were originally looking!
Cache in good condition and log dry.
Thanks For The Cache

I am down from Toowoomba for a few days.
Today is day 3 of caching and again, I am out and about with IolantheK. [^]
We had a few on our hit list for today. [^]
We eventually found this cache about 8m downhill from GZ and returned it to where we found it. [^]
Now onto the next cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about again with Brother Colin.
Today we headed out to Seven Hills, as that's where we both had caches to gather. We had GZ a little off here, but a read of previous logs put us in a better spot. TFTC, dawesy321.

A day out South of the river was planned for today, and despite the wet weather and muddy puddly ground, we decided to go for it anyway and made the most of it. After all, what's a little water, we ain't made of sugar .
The yappy dog behind the fence wouldn't stop yapping, making hunting rather infinite. In the end the cache was found, had I known it was in that spot I might not have set the dog off.

We came across your cache, dawesy321, on our geocaching day around the Bulimba area to clear up a few missing smileys.
Nice quick find. Love these heritage hides.
Log signed and cache replaced at 10:58 AM on October 10, 2018. TFTC.

I was about to give up because my phone coordinates were all over the place. Then I stopped, took a deep breath and re-focused, and boom! There it was. Very nice hide. TFTC

Think I was barking up the wrong tree for this one. Will have to look closer at the steps next time.
Made a good search but to no avail. I need more info! Definitely a pretty area full of homes for a bygone era.
Some time to kill today between work sessions so lets convert some green dots into smileys shall we.
I liked this one, didn't have to walk up as big a hill haha. Unfortunately some numpty scribbled all over the back of the log so it's all full. Needs a new log. Unfortunately some numpty has written on the entriety of the back of the log. Hopefully the CO puts a bit of maintenance into his caches soon.
Please

Found at 12m off GZ, but thanks to a previous photo, and having an inkling as to what the cache disguise was, it was a quick spot by my handsome He-Squirrel. As previously noted, logbook full, but managed to squeeze our signature on
We nearly gave up but found it and it was a great feeling to outwit 7 curious children!
Yip. I do remember riding down these stairs. Walked up them today. With time against me today I had checked out all of the caches I intended to hunt. Descriptions read, hints noted and logs perused. A previous log really helped with this one. My GPSr still had 8m to go to GZ.
Quick find here, spotted on the way up the stairs - a lucky find because my co-ords were off, but I wasn't around long enough to see if they settled. Thanks
Second one for the day. This was a little elusive even with the previous logs. I walked up and down and could not see it. As I was returning the the car, I spotted it and reached over to retrieve it. Just needed a keen geocacher eye to spot this one as it really was in plain sight. TFTC dawsey321
Hard to pinpoint GZ as compass bouncing about, but we found it in the end. Thanks for the cache dawesy321. :^)
Found at last but but by my GPS reading it was 12 mtrs away, no wonder I couldn't find it and it is only 250 mtrs from my Mums house. Quickly signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
We had a few minutes in between appointments to grab a cache, and this one was along our route.
We spent some time disoriented, first gz is this way, then that way, off the path, on the path. Finally had a quick read of some previous logs, retraced our steps, and saw a familiar sight. Well hidden, but obvious to a cacher.
Had to employ stretch-mode to reach the cache!

Out with Geopartner today revisiting some caches we did not find before.
I walked past but Geopartner spotted this one.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks dawsey321 All good with this cache

Amazing weather and a perfect day for caching in urban parks and reserves
Raging party in one of the houses on the hill...
My first visit to GZ and the coords were spot on. Maybe recent rain uncovered an edge? In any case the container looked familiar and this excursion was almost a park 'n grab. The cache is hidden IPS and you will see it on approach Check that your shoelaces are tied neatly!
TFTC Dawesy321!
Now convinced that HP#2 is probably still there and buried. Anyone want to meet at GZ and scratch around in the dirt?

I think this one has been gone for a while considering the eyes across the road watching you.
I have had that type of people take a cache while watching others.
Thanks for the hunt

Me and my 2 year old son had a few hours to kill while my wife was in surgery so we found a few caches.
Some quant old houses in this part of the city. thanks for bringing me here

I walked to the location which the GPS was indicating and it appears that previous cachers have been searching in the same spot but I then read the previous logs and decided to walk back the way I came and checked another spot there and soon had the cache.

Time for a re-visit. Arrived, parked in the same location and wandered up the stairs. Seemed like nobody was home on either side. Checked all the same spots and then read a few logs. Seems like you need to be leaving to find this cache. So I did. And there it was. No sure why I didn't look there last time.

Coordinates were a bit off but the girlfriend found it just as I'd given up and walked off. Tftc
Have been looking for this for a while. Came back and finally found it despite the coordinates being off slightly
My phone placed GZ a bit further away from the cache than I wanted but I found it in my way out. TFTC

We were out of town when these caches were published so we thought we'd have a 'bo-peep' at them today.
Another case of the compass wanting to be boss here!
5 metres that way, now 8 metres the other way, no, 4 metres across there, over near that tree, down near the fence ... confusion reigns! LOL ...
After about 5 minutes of intense searching I decided to take a break & go fuel up the Geo-beast, which was extremely low on petrol & screaming for a drink!
As I was leaving I thought 'I'll just look over there!'
Well, that was easier! LOL ...
Cache in hand!
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Rechecked the co-ords & it seemed to indicate that we were 8 metres from GZ.

I left the phone in the car to keep charging and wandered down from above. It took a bit of looking but the familiar shape soon appeared. TFTC where all is OK.
Second stop for the morning and nothing I could see that looked like a cache. It seems like the room in the house on the north side of the path is a bedroom and I really didn't need to accused of hanging around too long.
till next time.
till next time.

We were enjoying a family lunch for Easter at my mother's house in the south-western suburbs of Brisbane when the notifications of new caches started coming through. I kept a track of them in case anything close to us popped up but kept enjoying my roast pork lunch and a couple of beers.
After lunch, I was lying on the couch while the kids watched Hop when a local FTF hound messaged me and began chatting. Pretty soon he asked if I was going after the FTFs on these and let slip that he wasn't nearby.
It began playing on my mind and, as the movie was drawing to a close, I mentioned to the geowife that maybe we could try to pick up a couple of the way home. Pretty soon we were loading everyone into the geomobile and heading east.
With number 4 and 5 in the bag, and number 1 having fallen to someone else, I still expected number 2 to go to the same person so we decided to head for this one.
I leapt out of the car and rushed to GZ but a thorough search of where my GPS indicated didn't reveal the cache. After about 10 minutes I had given up and saw that number 2 still hadn't been found so I got back in the car.
The geowife wasn't having any of that. She told me to get in the driver's seat and she got out to search. After a minute opr so she came back to swap my phone for hers. Apparently mine wasn't good enough. Then, a few minutes later, which I spent programming the in-car GPS for the next couple, she came up with the goods.
This was her first FTF and she was pretty chuffed with herself, quite rightly.
