Found this with Rick while in Crookwell manning a stall at the Crookwell Garden Festival markets. TFTC.
Although we found this on this date, I am only just catching up on the logging and it is some time later. We noticed that this is now archived which is a shame as it was a lovely church. Thanks for the cache anyway.

This is one of those finds that make you feel clever, when it was really just like being a kid playing chess against an adult who lets you win. We just walked quickly around the church and I spotted what I figured was the cache hide immediately. And it was. Thanks
A quick grab at a lovely building. Driving through today from Orange to Goulburn. TFTC.
Anlauf.

Couldn't possibly go past this geocache so close to the Taralga trail, especially if if also had a gorgeous little cemetery to explore aswell. TFTC!
OCW StumbleTrip today. Our aim was to do the trip between Goulburn, Taralga, Laggan, Crookwell and back Goulburn. All up we attempted 67 caches of which 4 were DNF's. Time wise we took way longer than we had calculated but then we didn't really have a time limit! Thanks to the cache owners for placing all the caches we attempted today!

Heading to Morrisset for the Mega we picked up a few caches along the way with Roostaman and this was one of them.
While staying at Goulburn we travelled to Taraga via Crookwell. We made an easy find at GZ.

Today was another fine day for a drive to Crookwell and Taralga with Tassie Trekkers.
Less muggles around today and a good variety of hides again.
Log sheet was full, so added an extra sheet until maintenance can be done.
Thanks for the cache Chuze,

It's been a while since the FFLL team have been able to do an assault together, we had a break in our calendar so we decided to arrange a geomission with Rapidlywild and clear out in and around Goulburn. We left Canberra at a decent hour and headed up the highway, the weather was a little cloudy along the way and the storm clouds seemed to follow us. So there was a few showery spots. As usual the day was fun and lots of laughs were had.
Thanks for giving us a reason to stop at this old church, vey cool indeed

Plans were put into place with both the ladies from FurfacesLL to do a little run on Goulburn and surrounds. We had our sights set the remainder of the Taralga Trek (and Taralga Trek Too) as well as collecting the last few WPs of the "JDogMonkey's Tour of Goulburn" multi. Was a nice fun day out and about with sunshine, cold winds, spats of rain, a punctured tire and lots of laughter.
After finishing the series of caches, we picked up whatever came up on the map en route back to Goulburn. No issues locating this one today, signed and replaced. Very nice old church.

After completing the Taralga Trek we found ourselves in Crookwell where we made a few easy finds but this wasn't one of them - GPS was jumpy. TFTC.
This year (2018) I have been trying to get more caches to boost my total finds. This weekend I decided to do all the caches from Goulburn to Taralga to Laggan to Crookwell to Wayo to Goulburn. Sadly I was going to do this trip on the Saturday but Geowife (Blueiris) was feeling unwell and I stayed home to look after her. Today 21/1/2018 she was feeling better so we headed out to complete the previous day’s plans. I wanted to try and get 69 caches in total. I left home at 0630 and headed to Goulburn for a lovely McDonalds breakfast before starting the massive caching day. The first cache of the day was GC74HCZ, a quick find and almost all the finds for the day were quick. I wanted to set a fast pace of approximately 8 minutes per cache including driving time. I am happy to let everyone know that I got a total of 72 caches for the day in 12 hours exactly. Not a bad effort at all if you ask me. The wildlife along the trip was fantastic. The animals that I spotted consisted of Wombats, Kangaroos, Wallabies, various Lizards, Spiders and so many bird species that I could not possibly name then all. The first part of the trip was also done in thick smoke from the Taralga Fire. This fire has burnt about 960 hectares (about 2372 acres). The bushfire was burning about eight Kms to the north-east of Taralga and north of Bannaby Road area. It was burning through bush and grassland in a south-westerly direction. Fire crews from Taralga were fighting the fire with additional crews from Marulan and Bungonia joining in to help. These crews consisted of 77 fire fighters supported by numerous aircraft and heavy machinery. Smoke from the fire could be seen from up to 200kms away. Anyway enough chit chat, thanks for the cache and for making my caching experience today so much more fun. Please keep up the good work by putting out more caches. Sorry for the generic logs but with so many caches found in one day it is impossible to put private logs for them all. Signed the cache DSD, Darkside or Darksidedan depending how big the logbook was and how much room there was in it.
Quick find on a warm Sunday morning. Was concerned church may be in service today. However we were lucky. Local residents curious about our presence here. Watch for muggles.

I found it without too much effort at all. Thanks for the cache and for showing me this nice church.
The second day of the year has seen us do a run to crookwell and on the way we managed to find a previous DNF (only one of our own failures) add 2 more DNFs and found a total of 19 traditionals this being number 9 for the day.
Thanks Chuze for showing us a wonderful church who know that there were so many curches in the little town of Crookwell.
Grand Cache count = 537 total consisting of 503 Traditionals, 18 Multi, 5 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual and 3 Event.

Today we were up early to do the Taralga Trek. It was a cool morning as we left but soon warmed up by midday. This gave us a nice tiki tour of the surrounding countryside as we have not visited this part of NSW. We were surprised to see a few windmill farms along our journey.
Some great locations visited & a variety of caches found.
A very nice old church. We had a delicious Chinese Lunch while in town.

7 hours of driving and 39 caches found later I was at peace!

A lovely church. Found fairly easily. Log full and no replacements with us, sorry. TFTC
Amazing 10:30am and it’s 9degrees at the moment! Same time 5 days ago and it was up in the thirties! We've been sitting out the wet weather in Gunning which we decided would be more preferable to driving in the awful conditions. Caching in the fog and showers today. We’re on a slow trip home from the Alexandra Mega, caching where we can. TFTC

We had a pleasant walk around this town, observing the types of old homes and buildings and also finding 4 caches. We boiled the billy in the picnic shelters in the park and found the facilities to be very clean. Unlike in Sydney. TFTC
Here for a day out around Crookwell, for the annual garden festival. The sun is shining, recent rains have made the landscape green again - a lovely day to be out and the gardens are wonderful. An easy find here with no one to observe, thanks Chuze.
On yesterday's Sunday, ALL7 and me went up via Goulburn to all this roads on Gundaroo, Gunning, Breadalbane, Taralga, Crookwell on our way back to Goulburn for the fantastic GIFF (Geocachers International Film Festival) event at evening time so what a really big long day through nighttime before we went back home to Canberra. We had really sore bodies but our country cache-hunting trip happily went well worth.

Last Day we drive back to Goulburn for GIFF Event .. Good fun watch Film... WE love it... Thanks
Took ages to find this one....
I found the hidden church key first and thought it had something to do with the cache but nope! So put that back where I found it. I think this cache is too close to the hidden keys lol! They are easier to find then the cache itself!
Then after a long look I found the cache snugly hidden

Fortunately, this was a quick find as the sun has gone down and there is big football game tonight. It is a beautiful church.
Out and about with Happy Uke again today. This time we had ventured south again to Goulburn and Crookwell to try our luck.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I had been sick with the flu and was champing on the bit to get out and cache... so a trip to Crookwell was organised. I haven't been out this way for years and it didn't disappoint. Finalf29 and I had a wonderful drive on such a glorious afternoon finding sixteen, before it got too dark.
This was our eighth for the arvo. Such a petty church, also loved a lot of the old homes in town. Terrific hidey spot. Thanks

Beautiful little country Church- a real treat to wander around such a location of rich history
Managed to get go on a little road trip on the weekend with StrangeTrousers and mtrax for a day doing the Goulburn, Crookwell, Taralga loop before returning to Canberra.
It was beautiful to watch the wisps of flog in the valley as we drove through the countryside. Once the fog lifted it turned out to be a stunning day to be gallivanting around the countryside finding caches.
A great day's caching in the end. Matrix and I got 40 whilst ST collected 30 having already picked up a few on an earlier visit.
One big aim was to log the Rocky cache – as my boxer is names rocky. Yes he is a complete fruit loop as are most boxers. Loved some of the churches and was very happy to get one of them having seen but unable to stop. Especially loved the Caution Funnel - Web Spider sign at one of the cemetery’s visited.

Out with CBRChic and mtrax for a day trip up to Goulburn, Crookwell, Taralga and back to Goulburn.
It was a foggy start to the day but it was clearing by the time we'd had our coffee fixes in Gouburn. So we headed up the Crookwell road into a mix of bright sunshine & cloud.
A great day's caching in the end. I got 30 and CC & mtrax managed about 40 each. Some highlights for me were Pejar, and the amazing Catholic church in Taralga.
A great country churnch.

Second day of caching in the Goulburn/Crookwell area. The weather is perfect, nice and clear and low twenties, all you can wish for caching. Again a lot of nice caches and a few I missed yesterday, all finished at the event at the historic waterworks. Then rushing back to the Illawarra to make the home event there!
Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out the caches, keep up the good work and nice to have met a few of you last night.

Thanks Chuze. It's a beautiful little church. I've been around town, living just up the road, for a few weeks and have admired it a couple of times, taken quite a few photos, and had a go at drawing it too.
When I discovered Geocaching a few days ago, I wasn't surprised to find there was a cache there. Today I had time to go find it. A cute hide.
My first for the day, my first GC find, and my first traditional find.
Great. Thanks again.

12792. Out for a drive through the countryside with AngelG27 knocking off a nice collection of caches today.
Next cache attempted by us today. Another lovely country church. And it was amusing when I found the "cache container" with some keys in it, which I used to open the door with thinking the cache was in there - until I realised that sometimes magnetic key cases are actually used to hide keys !! Oops - put them back and then Angel found the actual cache - phew ! Signed log, returned the cache, and we headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Chuze !! That was amusing !

Fitzy_1965 and I headed out for a drive in the country that took us from Bungendore to Crookwell and home again. Needless to say, we both found quite a few caches for the day - my total was around 36. We skipped caches in Goulburn, saving those for another day. Due to a fail with loading caches on my GPS, I resorted to using the phone for quick logs to mark those found and not. Thanks to all the cache owners for their hides and Fitzy for the fun company!
Twenty fourth cache find for me for the day and an amusing one. Fitzy accidently found a key that was not associated with geocaching! I proceeded around the church and found another likely spot, that did indeed hide the tiny cache. Phew!

Thanks Chuze for this cache. I had previously came when it was first published only to find the their was a function of some sort on and my findings would be hindered till the next time.
Decided to open the old and original geocaching app today. Noticed I had a handful of caches in the "send later" folder. With the app now sadly not working anymore I had to log each cache with the gz code. Not to worry I could sleep anyway so it gave me something to do! Ah so many memories and off-line lists on the old app.
