Today the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to head where there were three first to finds to be had. For the last several weeks we had noted three new first to finds on the Tin Horse Highway outside Broomehill. We had other plans in the last couple of weekends so we had no opportunity to head this way. We could not believe that they were still not found as we neared this weekend. Therefore we hatched a plan that if they were still not found by Friday evening we would set off Saturday morning in this direction. It was a nice drive down from Bunbury through Donnybrook, Boyup Brook and Kojonup. Knowing we were going to be looking for micro nanos on tractors did not fill us with joy , you just never know with big machinery and tiny geocaches how long it might take . However all in all they were predominately nice and easy finds. After we collected the first to finds we headed to Gnowangerup to clean up caches there before heading across to Tambellup. We then decided to head to Mount Barker to the Adventure Labs that had been placed since last we were there and of course you cannot go to Mount Barker without going to the Bakery . Once we had cleared up caches in Mount Baker we headed back up the Albany Highway collecting a few more caches along the way before turning off at Arthur River and heading back to Bunbury. All in all a fabulous day in rural WA collecting geocaches. This was our eighth cache find of the day. We took the drive out to the edge of town and was not quite sure what to expect, it was certainly an interesting place , unfortunately a little un-maintained. Soon located, logged and replaced the cache . Thanks for the cache Adam Osborne .
We enjoy visiting old cemerties particlarly in Spring when there is the possibilty of finding wild flowers. When looking back over the cemertry I noticed something and guessed what it was.
The cache is dry and in good condition.

We weren't even looking for a geocache we were just checking out the old cemetery and seen this little box! We opened it and then it clicked to me what it was! Was pretty cool!! We are hooked on finding them now
On the way to Wellstead, detour. Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.
Found it. TFTC adam Osborne. Went barking up the wrong tree, or shrub here. Had the wrong type of hide in mind. Replaced as found.
After travelling on the Horse Power Highway from the wrong end we decided that we had to find ONE cache in Gnowangerup. Up a little track and yeh! In our hands. Tiny cemetery.
Thoroughly enjoyed all the tractors. Great concept.

One of our targets for this trip to Western Australia was to attempt some challenges, in particular The Great Southern Challenge, The Great Southern Challenge II and The Regional Cacher Challenge III. Today we focussed on visiting as many LGAs as we could in a day and to find at least once cache in each of them. We were fortunate to visit 7 LGAs and find more than one cache in each of them.
Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The log was damp but still signable Thanks adam osbotne for the cache.

Came out to see if we had any rellies here. Seems not, but always good to find a cache. Thank you.
We found the hardest way in but still got there in the end.
Thanks for the fun cache find.
Thanks for the fun cache find.
I didn’t realise you could drive to GZ. I walked from the cul de sac. I needed to stretch my legs anyway. Thanks.
The cache was in its right spot but the log book was on the ground a metre away... we fixed it up and put it away but there is some broken glass scattered around that could be dangerous while finding. An unexpected but interesting little location. Tftc
Thank you! I headed out on a super large day trip to find some caches I've had my eye on, due to their age or LGA, or because they contained clues for other caches. I left before dawn and was home after sunset, but saw so much of the countryside. Happy to make the find here.
Thanks for taking us here. The location is more interesting than the name suggests and I really should have followed the signs. Good to head off road a see something interesting that would have otherwise been difficult to find.
Geo-hubby met up with Barnzy12 to keep him company for the day and to grab a few caches that had been on our radar for some time. Thanks adam osborne
Found this on a three day expedition to Albany and surrounds in convoy with the ooh yeh team. Managed to team up with Richlink aswell for a number of caches around these parts that they hadn’t done.
A great long weekend and thanks to the locals for their caches. I look forward to finding more at the upcoming WAGB event in Albany.
Thanks

Easy find at the old cemetery however the container has a hole in it and log is very wet TFTC
We spent a cold wet weekend in Bremer Bay & wouldn’t you know it, just as we start to meander our way home the weather picks up & the sun comes out. We will do a spot of caching on the way, by way of compensation. TFTC Adam Osborne
Staying in Gnowangerup for a couple of nights so we can explore the local area.
Today we headed back down towards Albany then across past the Porongorups to Mt Barker
for lunch at the Bakery.
We were dodging thunderstorms most of the day and managed to get caught in one whilst hunting out a cache. A day to remember for sure.

This was our first stop of the day with ilook4geo. We are on the move again and are covering quite a lot of kilomteres as we collect cache finds in different LGAs, which is one focus we have at the moment.
A nice easy find and the signing duties were soon done, then all was put back into place as it had been found. Thank you adam osborne for putting this cache into play.

On the hunt again today, along with goingplaces2. It was fairly hot, so we kept on the move to enjoy the car air conditioning. This was one of the caches we found and enjoyed. TFTC.
After spending 3 days in Esperance it was time to head home ..... TFTC and for all the COs for the rest stops ......
Added nothing and removed nothing but did scribble a note in the book. Thank you
We found this by accident and have now joined your amazing community. David wrote a note but didn’t know what to do. We’ll return soon and start on an incredible journey.
Nature will always claim the land back. If it wasn't for the fence and plaque, you'd never know there was a cemetery there. TFTC.
Sitting on 119 LGA regions found and what happens? A 120 LGA is published. So seeing my closest Unfound LGAs we’re down here, I decided to arrange a trip. I mentioned it to KrabiBoy who was up for a night away so we packed the car and headed off. We set a plan and off we went.
Made our way in and parked 5 metres from the hide for a quick find.
adam osborne, Kyzabra found your cache Geo1, the cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Didn’t take too long to spot this one.
It’s been far too long between outings for me so when Kyzabra told me we needed another trip I was definitely interested. We hatched out a plan and headed out to clean up some of his unfound LGAs.

I had no range on my phone which made things difficult, but once I worked out which road to take in I got it! Tftf
Driving into Gnowangerup from Tambellup this was the first one we cam across so decided to give it a go. Drove out to GZ and made a quick find while my wife was checking out the plaques. Not much left of the cemetary

Took the back roads home after a long weekend in Albany! Took us ages to find the right road in! TFTC!
Heading home after a great adventure through the great southern over the last week.
Took the opportunity to take a different route and cross off some of the missing lga's from my list for the wa lga challenge.
After working out how to get to Gz we made a quick find once there

On a bit of a road trip (close to 2000km by the time we get home) grabbing some LGAs and adding to my smileys tho only finding a few in each major town other wise we will never get home as we only have 3.5 days
Our plan is just to drive and stopover at the nearest town to where we are when it starts getting dark. But we have on our list Katanning, Nyabing, Gnowangerup, Borden, Jerramungup, Ravensthorpe, Esperance, Grass Patch, Salmon Gums, Dundas area, Kambalda, Kalgoorlie, Coolgardie, Southern Cross, Westonia, Merredin, Kellerberin, Tammin, Cunderdin and finish off caching in Meckering

Out and about for a country drive over the New Year's long Weekend.
This is why we enjoy caching, it gets us out and about seeing bits of history as we travel.
Found your cache and thanks for sharing this interesting spot.

Stopped in to have a look at the old cemetery before leaving town. Was a nice easy and quick find. TFTC
Didn't expect that spot. Shame someone using it to dump rubbish though. Thanks anyway for taking us there
FTF with Kong girls. Our very first FTF. Would never have come to cemetery otherwise
First to find honors go to SuttonD as they have never had a FTF and were out of the car first. Never would have come here otherwise
