Poked around for a while, but all I found was a large scary looking waspy thing hiding inside the gate post lol
Noticed a there are couple other recent DNFs, this cache might need to be checked.

Three weeks ago I decided to take a break from cold Adelaide and head north to warmer climes for a month or so. The (loose) plan was to travel on my own up to Innamincka then into western and central Queensland, camping along the way. Where I go and how far north I get would depend on how distracted I get and how hot it gets.
I’ve made it to Mount Isa, but I think I’ve probably reached my northern limit for this year. Camping out in the swag in this weather starts to get a bit exhausting after a while, although the mornings are fantastic!
This morning I had a look around Mount Isa and surrounds and found some interesting caches. The afternoon was spent trying to catch up on some logs and preparing for the next leg of my trip.
I searched for this one as I travelled through the gate on my way into the lake, then again with fresh eyes on the way out. But to no avail. Its either extremely well hidden or missing. I suspect the latter.

Day 348 Today we went for a drive out to the Mary Kathleen area to have a little look at the old town and surrounds along the way we made a detour to see what we could find and missed a few and collected a couple as well.
This was a miss on the way our after searching the likely spots at the GZ we drew a blank and we think a CO check may be needed in the area.
Thanks for showing us the area Kenlee89.

A little tricky, but not too hard. Opened the gate for us and another car to go on to one of the most beautiful places in the area.

Quick grab on our way back to the Isa for lunch. it was getting hot by now. Actually it ended up being the hottest December day on record.
Thanks for the hint

Nearly gave up on this one. Finally found it. Lot of rubbish around. Only one little sheet of paper in it.
During our great roadtrip through Australia we went from Mt. Isa to Richmond today and found some great caches on our way. This was one of them.

We thought today would be a good day to pick up some caches that were mostly "off the highway" locations.
This was actually on the highway and it was found while muggles were going through the gate. No problem! Duties were completed and then we went through the gate too, heading to our next cache on the list for the day.
Thanks to Kenlee89 for placing this cache.

After spending the night in Cloncurry we are now headed to Mount Isa for a few days and grabbing a few caches on the way.
Many thanks for allowing us to get a smiley and stretch the legs Kenlee89

For some reason the phone was jumping around a bit...found quickly with a look at the hint. TFTC
Today we were heading back to the west so that we could collect some of the caches we had missed a couple of days ago. Leaving the van at Mary Kathleen, I remembered to pack lunch today, as there is no knowing where we will end up, or how long we will be.
This was the 2nd of 3 caches and was found after we had explored many of the tracks down at the lake. Found some great swag/tent sites but were happy we hadn't brought the van in.
It took a little bit of scouting around to find this one, as Pa and I differed on the interpretation of the hint. Yay! I won out and soon had CIH.
After my name had been added to the log, it was returned to its hidey hole.
Thanks again Kenlee89 for placing yet another cache to keep us happy as we wander around northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter.

Having plan 372 collapse on us when a friend we were supposed to meet in Mt Isa decided that they were now coming through Cloncurry so we booked another night in the caravan park and ventured out towards Mt Isa picking up a few caches as we went.
We pulled up to the gate to Roebud Dam and after a little bit of a search we found the well hidden cache right where the GPSr said that it should be and we happily added our name to the log. We didn't go out to the dam today as we were in a hurray to get to Isa but next time we will have a proper look.
Thanks Kenlee89 for the cache.

Hi there Kenlee89 - we left Cloncurry this morning headed towards Corella Dam and the park there intending to stay for a day or two. Unfortunately the area was almost packed out so we continued to Mary Kathleen and then to Mt Isa before stopping for the day. This cache and log are in good condition - SL. This is our find #4911 - thanks to Kenlee89 for this cache.
Found on a one month road trip around Australia. Sorry for the generic log. TNLNSL TFTC

Some really scenic outback country looking from the cache up through the valley of white river gums and rocky hills. As for phone reception . . . it died walking to the cache! [xx(] TFTC Kenlee89.
Love the outback and finding this cache. We are happy to have plenty of time to spend exploring this unique area. Thanks to Kenlee89 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Couldn't find this one today, looked for a fair while. Oh well, next time, lol
Enroute to the Mega in Alice. Sadly after a long search we came up empty handed
While on our way to Alice event, pulled in to search for this one. Unfortunately we didn't find it after looking everywhere. Hint didn't help. Maybe another time. Thanks for bringing us here.
Grabbed this one on the way out after camping the night on the property. .

While staying at Mount Isa we tackled a few new caches that have been published since our last visit and this was one of them. Together with FelixII we we tackled the 2 caches in this area. This was a quick find and off to the next one 9 kms down the 4x4 road.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Travelling around Australia and currently visiting Outback Queensland.
A full day out with Tassie Trekkers caching yippee what fun. Loved this location and took many many photos.
Stopped here to open the gate so also checked out the cache here. Quick find once we knew the size of the cache.

Took my visiting colleague for a second caching trip as we finished our week early. Tried to drive down but it was wet and I was short of time. Will have to come back for the one down the road
