Staying at the Scout Camp, thought we would walk out to the cache while the weather was cooler. Shame this has been left like this, some neat old machinery around.
What a disgrace to let such an old building fall into such disarray. On our farm we had a similar structure right on the bank of the Murray River that had been a wool shed but was in far better condition. The craftsmanship was amazing TFTC TeamStArnaud
Find # 6577
Nice quick find because of the accurate coords.
We did a repair on the broken cache lid with 1,000km/h tape.

#4151 Heading home from a great weekend away at St Arnaud we were picking up a few caches en-route to Maryborough for lunch. Ye olde shack has a bit of a lean these days, but still standing for now . Cache quickly located and we were on our way again. TFTC!
Quick easy find on my return trip after attending a house warming party this weekend. Happy Australia Day.
While in Dunolly for a birthday party I have come to grab this cache. An easy find with some treasures inside, a pathtag and some cool TB cards. TFTC
Passing through the area with geo van in tow we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After parting company with Kittykatch and Joolay to head south, I decided to cache my way back to Guildford. This was one of the caches I found. TFTC TNLPT SL

We were heading to the St Arnauld Mega and after flying down from Brisbane this morning we picked up a hire car and took to the road. I had not loaded my GPS with a wide enough area and this was the first cache which appeared on the GPS after leaving Tullamarine so I pulled off to check out the old building. Coming from Queensland, where a building like this would have been eaten by termites many years ago, it was good to see that there were so many remains of it.

Lots of long grass, wouldn't want to explore here in height of summer but okay this morning.
Cache easily found

After a long weekend at St Arnaud it was time to head back home but not before I grabbed a few more caches in the area.

We are staying in Maryborough with Lady membsec’s Mum for a few days and decided to head to the St Arnaud area to gather as many solved puzzles and challenge caches in one day before the weather set in. Today was perfect weather and we found all different types of hides, some simple, some a little different, some high, some low, some in prickly bushes, some surrounded by water but nothing deterred us as we found all the caches we went searching for.
We started with an FTF and this one was after that. Pretty quick find and interesting place.

We found this cache after doing a bit of photography around the old building. If only the walls could talk! Thanks for placing.
After coming to Dunolly to catch up with family friends and staying for the long weekend we did a number of cache’s in the area and this one was a great little find. Love the history of this place and TFTC
TFTC. We decided to go for a drive today before the heat got too much later in the week. First stop Redbank and then on to Stuart Mill and a small circle back along the highway to collect a few Original Road Puzzles before heading back to Maryborough.
Last cache for the day as the weather warmed up. Headed home to Maryborough for a coldie.

I finished up work pretty early today but had a daughter who was wanting some driving hours and was staying the weekend in in Moliagal so after she was dropped of I thought I would work a few caches into the two and a bit hours drive home.
A I was heading toward Lara I was driving right past this little one and of course couldn't resist stopping for a look.
I am glad it wasn't inside as the structure a seen better days. A nice quick find with good coords.
Thank you TeamFUF for the keeping this one alive

WOW, You should check out the construction of the fence while you are here. The construction of this wire fence blew our minds. We poked our noses over the fence but could not get a great look at the inside of the building. SL TFTC
As we were passing through, decided to stop.
A quick park and grab.
check out the heritage. Tftc

The Evil Muggle loves looking for “Shonky sheds” to photograph during our travels. The shed the cache was near would fit into this category perfectly. We were also fascinated with the large gauge cyclone wire fencing here too. Of course we approached the cache from the wrong direction and had to twist into strange postures to recover and return the cache. All those twisting exercises paid off today.
It is such a shame to find these old buildings falling into rack and ruin but I guess that they are too costly to keep maintained.
A nice easy find and the log duly signed

Day 9 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire once in Melbourne. So to save space in the logs we usually just wrote our initials BABS.
We had spent our last night in Melbourne but there were still some caches along the Maribyrnong River Trail to find so it was back on the bikes for one last time. Then it was goodbye to Bushfire as we cached our way towards Bealiba where we were going to spend th next three nights. [8)]
It certainly looks old. Found the cache quickly.
**Thanks TeamFUF for this cache. **

One more find before heading into Dunolly for lunch. Looks like this Golden Oldie is hanging on for dear life, it has a lean on it like the leaning tower.
Thanks to Rustymac75 for placing this cache and to TeamFUF for adopting.

A tour around the countryside in the car, with Geodog Penny on board to grab caches along the way so we can earn points for 'Planetary Pursuit'
Tricky at first as we were in the middle looking everywhere when finally Mr Tyred n Cranky found it. Quite an easy find if you look in the right spot.

Found by Mary & David at 1000. What history is here. We hope that the family who lived here enjoyed some happiness although probably there was sadness too, and possibly even tragedy. Such a lot of memories would have been created right here. Our thanks to Rustymac75.
Found after a short search. A lovely spot for a cache at awsome part of aussie past. Thanks for the cache.
Quick find along the track. Only one swap so we added a few and kept on the run.
Found it. Worth a photo. Grabbed a TB that didn't show as being in the cache. Will log

I was driving back home from Maryborough today when I thought to myself; I should really go and grab me a cache.
So that's what I did.
Cool.
Found this one in its hidey hole, I signed the log and went on my merry way; feeling happy that I was one with the world again.

For some reason it doesn't look as old as I expected, but it is certainly not golden! Cache found easily thanks.
Well the building is definitely run down [:)[

On the way home from Scout camp. Better now in the long grass before the weather warms up and the sticks start to wriggle. Scary long grass! TNLN TFTC.
Did not take long to find last day of cacheing with Tadannatt in Australia of back to the UK. TFTC
While being very inconspicuous while finding this cache, the car keys fell from the chauffeur's pocket into the long grass! This could have been disastrous, but fortunately they were soon located, log was signed and we moved on! TFTC
Road tripping to the in-laws with geohubby, a quick but wet find in the rain with the long grass. Great photo opp of the old building. TFTC
Another nice drive by one on this day out, as we headed for lunch in Dunnolly. TFTC Rustymac75, nice to see these old buildings being 'recognised'
