#99 of a streak which will end at 101.
A tad overgrown out to GZ but not too bad. The wallabies I disturbed were nice. The mozzies were not.

Enjoying this series. The views from many caches in the Bushland Beach series have been as good as you see anywhere as the countryside is remarkably green and from here is no exception. Tftc

Apologies for the late log. Found this after an epic day caching trying to complete the BBGC.

A bit of a walk in for us and navigating through some thigh high scrub but found the cache fairly quickly. Avoiding drawing attention from muggles on the road made the grab and signed and returned to its hiding place.

Another nice view from GZ here and gave us an insight to the effort we will need if we ever attempt the BBHT series TFTC TNLN

Thanks burgo78 for bringing us to Bushmans Beach. We are here for a few days (grey nomads) from Moreton Bay Geocaching Group (north Brisbane). We were very happy to have found a good spot to get to this hide. Found, logged & replaced, we walked through some scratchy scrub. Smile for us!

Of course our GPS took us the scrubbiest most prickly way to this cache! Remember finding one of the earliest Bushland beach caches in this same area

Somethings fell into place which meant a trip to town was on the cards so we got planning on what to do and which puzzles to try and solve.
Moving along this one was next in our tour through the area. On the walk in we distrubed a roo seek shade. At GZ a quick find and sign of the log was completed. TFTC

Dropping of the trackable 'Aim High, aim far' from my hometown in Congleton, England in the first cache I placed where I've called home since 2002.
Safe travels.

Having completed the BBHT series, I was heading back to the car, eyeing the water tower over yonder. Attractive DT for this cache and my legs still feel great. So I detoured through the back streets and over the main road and climbed the hill. Steep and slippery enough to take my breath away, but not too long that I had to stop on the way up.

Going back down the hill on the gravel track was tricky. Still have skin on both knees, which I consider to be a success. Grabbed the TB

Many thanks, burgo78

Pete

Bit of an effort getting up the hill to this one even with electric bikes. Mr Beetle waited with the bikes at the end of the bitumen and I bush bashed my way to GZ. Once there I realised there was a much nicer way to approach it. Had just dealt with the cache when the rain started so we quickly headed downhill to where we could see a tree that might provide some shelter. This was a bad mistake as the next one took us back up the hill again. Thanks.

Needed a cache find today so as to receive the **Geocaching Get Outdoors Month 2016** Souvenir grab. This was the closest cache to home, so I quickly raced out for the find. At the GZ, it was a quick find and sign.

Log signed. Took nothing and left nothing. Cache container and log in great condition.

Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1519.

Thanks for the cache hide **burgo78**. Smile

Day 5 Townsville
Todays trip was out to Bushland Beach area to look for the many caches out on the trails.
We had a couple of DNFs plus a few others we didn't attempt
In all a great day, such a variety of caches we found.
Thanks for placing this cache burgo78

One more... this time for sure! I headed to the top of the hill where the workers were hard at work building the new house. I headed in a straight line through the burr laden grass and bushes to GZ. Warning! Don't do this. Follow the dirt track to the left and come around - so much easier. My track took me to the bush which I searched for ages looking for a regular cache. Again the hint made no sense. Eventually I was giving up when I went closer to another area and spotted something possibly where it shouldn't be and it turned out to be the cache - a small though. Hint still didn't make sense but some people are smarter than me. Signed and replaced.

Thanks! Off to the airport.

Was at Bunnings Fairfield waters shopping for cache buliding materials when the email arrived. Should have gone to North Shore!
Made my way out, paying for my stuff Smile and headed for GZ. As I have found a cache up here before the road was the least of my worries.
Parked and headed for the coordinates. Found it very soon and YAAAY the log was clean Big Grin
Signed and admired gthe view before heading home.
