Very nice spot. Gorgeous buildings around here. Nice and quick find. SL and replaced. TFTC
TFTC,Second last day of a 9 week adventure that has allowed me to build my LGA count by 29.A very special location, thanks for bringing us here. Visited trackables.
Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.Hunting a couple of LGAs as we travelled these roads to Bendigo. Nice easy one here. Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
We are slowly making our way to St Arnaud via a number of smaller towns and stopping at Maldon for lunch. We enjoyed eating lunch at the Gold Exchange Caf Restaurant so much last time, we thought we would stop there again. It didn't disappoint. Google Maps might say it takes less than an hour between these towns, but somehow, it keeps taking us 2 hours. However, we are now getting closer to our target of 20 geocaches in all Victorian LGAs, hitting more in Mt Alexander, Central Goldfields, Loddon, and our new LGA of Northern Grampians. This old school looks like good condition compared to some others that we have visited recently. Thanks for the cache, Wild Nic 26 (Adopted By Team St Arnaud).Hunter
Sir_spectre and I had hoped to join in the fun of the Mega in Canberra but unfortunately life got in the way so we planned a trip for a few weeks later. We might have missed all the great events and catching up with geocaching friends from far and wide but at least we got to find lots of great caches still.Any cache that needed some love got it, if possible. Thanks
Needed to get some more finds in this LGA. Quick find.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Was planning on camping near the Flynn memorial in Moliagul but the Saints are on tv tonight and we couldn't get reception! We continued on to a place with better reception and that took us past this old school. What a great old building and the church across the road is also impressive. I thought that with muggles at the church we might have compromised this hide but the ugly container in their yard provided the perfect cover. There is only one clip left on the cache container but the contents were fine. Thanks TeamStArnaud.
Leaving St Arnaud and heading towards Bendigo. Getting a few caches along the way.
Out today in the PeuGEOt to do a couple of circuits of Geocaches in St Arnaud and district.CO lid to cache is broken and log bag is torn. All is dry inside.Quick find.TFTC
Now we are on the way to Canberra and pick up some more caches .Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc
An interesting spot! We tried to get to the Gold nugget memorial, but the road up was too bad for our car with caravan After we stayed overnight in St Arnaud, we continued our trip towards the MEGA in Canberra - still stopping for couple of caches on the way.We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc and maintaining it TeamStArnaud
My muggle partner and I are on a road trip towards Adelaide for the Great Leap Forward Mega. We are spending tonight in St Arnaud after staying the night in Bendigo. I needed this cache for another LGA signed off. This one had me going around in circles, but eventually I found it and I think the guy working on his house nearby was a bit suspicious what I was up to.
Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy on a day tour out of Bendigo. We made a quick find here of the week maintained cache. Thanks Team St Arnaud
Last find on a day drive around the area. Cache found without issue and the log soon signed. The school building looks good. Thanks for the cache and the reason to visit the area.

I was on a road trip with sushilord heading to Bendigo for a few days and finding caches far and wide. We weren't after numbers just out of the way places and caches with lots of favourite points. We had an enjoyable and fun time, but I was stuffed by the time we got home.
Interesting history here, cache quickly found.
Thanks for the cache TeamStArnaud.

We didn't see any giant nuggets here today but did manage to get a cache. As we walked to GZ we had a wonder about how much the renovations nearby were costing. The cache was pretty exposed so we added a bit more cover to keep it in place. TFTC
Stealth needed, the old church had visitors , but got the log , signed it and off. TFTHide.
Picked this one up on a "out of lockdown" caching run with Glanville Girls through this area. Thanks for placing . Found some wild orchids near GZ
Out and about today caching with Wozzle 68 picking up a few caches here and there as we drove along on this gloriously warm Spring day.
A nice quick find here. thanks for placing

One of those “I’ll just pull off the highway to get the cache” situations where you stumble onto fascinating stuff. I knew about Welcome Stranger but hadn’t given much thought to where it was found. The name of this town didn’t ring any bells as I pulled up. Thanks so much wildnic26 for enticing me to stop here.

*Cache find # 11741.*
Today I headed North with buhfuhguh to continue a mission we had started a little while ago which is now getting closer to the end.
Along the way there were some other caches that needed to be found for different reasons, this being on of them.
We had completed our mission and found our target caches for the day so it was now time to head for home but seeing that we were passing this one by we stopped to make the find.
Log was signed and we were on our way.
**Thanks to TeamStArnaud for placing this cache.**

Quick find while on a trip with JR_117 today. Cache is in good condition. TFTC
We wandered up the road to find this cache. It was uphill se we were glad it was a cool day.
Well, unplanned stop with a wee detour enroute to Bendigo after a Silo Art Trail trip. Impressive spot but more impressive story! Nice wander around GZ TFTC
Made a last minute decision to hitch up the GeoPod and take off for an overnight getaway to target some caches on some roads less travelled.
Always like being shown old school sites, as they highlight the otherwise forgotten history of the communities of the past. TFTC wildnic26 and TeamStArnaud.
