Quick park and grab, with this being the last cache for the day. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for all to discover.
TFTC nice quick find while waiting for GranddaughterTook nothing but left a Kings Castle keyring
Just a quick diversion off the highway and a short walk because of the wet ground and mud to find this one.Time to move on today as we head to the Warrambungles, caching on our way. Virtuals, puzzles, Earthcaches and some trads on an at times wet day, but not as cold as we have experienced in some recent times. It was an interesting day's travel with a variety of caches and some good things to see.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Joshwa27.**SKI Pair****
Sydney to Melbourne Meander. Day Four: Gunnedah to Forbes.Weather: A chilly morning but otherwise superb. On my way back from the Virtual at the Caves turnoff, and this looked like a chance for one more quick find. I thought it was almost too late to be in a cemetery but there was another person there too, and so in I went. This looks like a Freddo container; the previous logs confirm it. Thanks again Joshwa27.
Found during an overnight stop in Wellington on the first day of a road trip to WA.A nice easy find.Had a quick chat to a muggle walking dogs in this big cemetery.SL TFTC
Continuing my journey, I came to this cache. I was able to park the geomobile at GZ, out of sight of muggles. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. With everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
A quick find once the cemetery was clear of mourners. Took three attempts before we felt comfortable to enter the cemetery. Tftc.
Replaced the cache here as it was missingHeaded over to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra, ACT with Freddo over 5 days, travelling through the central part of NSW before caching around the hinterlands. A nice few days over with great weather. Thanks for the cache
I see more dead people. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of OzGeoMuster MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Big thanks to *JOSHWA27* for placing this cache. Cache number 8579 on March 3, 2024
Here we go again, 2nd DNF for this one. Looked through all the detritus and came up with nothing! We found your cache today 3 March 2024 7:27pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC Joshwa27
Found It!
This cemetery was getting a new resident today. Luckily they were getting buried a fair way away from where the cache was so I could find it without attracting too much attention.

The family and I headed to Wellington today for a look around town and the caves. We stopped by here on the way out to the caves, and this was a really interesting little location. Found the cache and then took a wander around the cemetery.

Trip to Wellington to o this one as we are staying in Dubbo for two nights. Was going south to Parkes but Flooded roads mean we have to now change our travel plans to go to Orange. Short walk and a quick find. All dry and safe. TFTC
Cleaned out wet logs etc..dried container and have installed new log and baggy...all is well here...tftc
Log too wet to write on. There was a funeral in process, so lucky we were at the other end of the cemetery!
Found cache, wet, open to the weather, not waterproof. Log wet and could not write my name. Pic attached. plastic bag is split. I have now covered it with a rock.
Nice little cache- but prefer cemetery caches outside the cemetery to be respectful.
Found on my return drive from Tamworth to Wodonga, Victoria. Great little hide. Thanks for the cache.

We're staying at Lake Burrendong for a few nights & stopped off for this cache on the way to dinner at the Soldiers Club (which was fantastic, BTW). Quick find by the geokids. TFTC.
Collecting a few caches along the road.
Now I just want to go home.

DNF'd this one a few years ago, so good to make up for that today.
It was day one of a road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. No real issues today and LL made a quick find. Log was quickly and we off up the road for the next one.
Thanks for another one Joshwa27....

#13533 - 1:42:00 PM; Day one of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. The plan for the day is to cache our way north to Coonamble and camp the night. The weather intervened, so we headed further north to Walgett and a warm bed there. Collected caches along the way, including this one, which was found in good condition. Logs signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. TFTC Joshwa27
Found it on second attempt with Geofriend. Don't know how I missed it before. TFTC.
Found today with Magpiecottage. Enjoying this gorgeous countryside. Thanks for hiding this cache.

This is another of yours, so I won't repeat the long story. It's another easy find in a ce\metery where I can go for a walk with Sophie GeoSchnauzer and look at the gravestones. Thanks, Joshwea27.

School holidays are over and time to do some caching!
Heading Mudgee/Dubbo areas looking to find some.
Thanks to the owners for the hides we find on our trip.
Not enough room on the highway with the caravan attached, so managed the track around the cemetery. Quick find.

Beautiful walk around the cemetery before heading over to the cache. Easy find. TFTC ️
We ended up in Wellington after doing a multi, and this cache beckoned. I drove close to this spot a couple of days ago, and was kicking myself for passing it by. Today was the day to rectify this oversight. Great spot for a cache.
We love exploring cemeteries and today this was the third one in Wellington that we had visited. Being a Sunday there were many muggles paying their respects to lost loved ones but luckily we had the back corner to ourselves.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the placement.

Returning from our "unplanned alternative to the QLD mega" holiday in the New England area, we spent last night in Wellington at the same caravan park we stayed at on the way up, and visited this Cemetery on the way out. A nice quick find at GZ. TFTC Joshwa27.
This was a nice quick find although the headstones direction caused GT37 some issues. She is concerned that they are facing uphill. I have strict orders for when she is buried, lol. Thanks for the cache.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
Lots of nasty biting ants here.
Thanks *JOSHWA27*
