Well that was tricky. Looking for a cache in a 12m radius of published GZ (as previous logs told me do), WHILE hiding from muggle kids having fun in this awesome park during their holidays... Got it eventually. TFTC

Caching around Coomera today with Team Benders to find some green dots. It too quite a while to find the so called orange hook - not quite what we envisioned it to be. While fingers were crossed that the rain would hold off, we did the signing duties.

Log signed & replaced again. Found at 11.35am on 15th March 2017. TFTC, Rayney Daze.

Out for a few caches today.
Very wet today and grabbing ones between showers of rain and mosquitoes are fierce.
Arrived at GZ and wandered around looking for the clue.
I spotted it and soon found the cache.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Rayney Daze and Keza 1984 Cool All good with this cache

The geoteens and I were waiting for my partner to finish work on a house in the nearby new estate, so why not collect a couple of caches to fill in time Razz After a bit of a search and a few turns on the slide, I found this cache as described. What a cool park! Tftc Rayney Daze Big Grin

Out and about in the geomobile hunting for smileys this morning. Smile What a funky park. Cool My Nuvi still does not have this development on it yet. Pretty slack Garmin. Twisted

I eventually managed to find my way to the right road to take me to the park. it was nice and quiet here this morning. [^]

A fairly quick find with the help of the hint. Smile

Rockstar!

23-May-16
We took a little while searching for this one as the co-ords may be slightly out or it may be our GPS. However the clue helped and the cache was found in good condition. We gratefully signed the log and replaced it as found. We are awarding a favourite point at this cache for placing it here in such a magnificent and fun park. These new estates certainly do have some great parks. The parks near our home in Ashmore have some grass and trees with maybe a small tired playground if it does have one. [^][^] We visited some trackables for miles Big Grin

Had a lovely time finding your series of caches in the parks around this suburb. Thanks.

Geo Wife was off with Muggle daughter so I had a few hours free, I knew about these ones in a nice group so it became my target!

I was having a good run up to now with only one turn away due to muggles but as I approached my heart sunk as I spotted a muggle family playing in and around GZ.

No way of getting this one today!!!

Thanks Rayney Daze & Keza TFTH I Will Return!!

Great park for the kids to play and a nice little find. Tftc.

11-May-16
Well I came along here today and was just a touch unsuccessful. Coords took me to some stairs in the kids play ground, but after a short search, I could not spot the hint. After reading some logs and trying to get in a position that matched the distance mentioned a family with kids showed up, and I figured best not hang around, as a solo male cacher in a kids playground does not look great.

Wow, I'm always amazing at how quickly bush and old property's are mowed down to make way for another 500 square meter block estate. Strewth, I remember when Gainsborough Greens was basically the only place on Yawalpah Rd, now look at it.
I slowly rolled around the streets towards GZ, passing the security car and the morning meeting of the nearby construction workers.
Wow, look at this amazing park. How I wish I was a kid again, the parks are pretty cool these days. Except the bloke across the road working on a house, I had the place to myself.
My phone wasn't playing fair as I made my way to the top so I took the quick way down and of course cleaned the morning dew from the slide. I decided to read a few logs after GZ produced nothing and soon realised the coords were slightly out. For some reason c:geo wasn't showing the hint but a mention of it in a past log soon showed the way.
Ahh, the old skipping rope container. Good to see it works well. I signed in and replaced as found.
Sorry I forgot to take a reading.
Cheers Rayney Daze, cool park

Had time on the way home to try this one again after failure on the first night this came in being ( trying to get the FTF ). With the youngest geo-son in tow, I tried my luck again while he ran around having a ball on the exciting boys zone.
After wandering around what thought should have been GZ... I widened the zone before heading over to the area I explored the first night. A few treks up and down before... oh damn... there it is !!! I must have walked within 1m six to ten times that first night before having to head off... oh well, smilie now sourced. TFTC !!! Smile

This is a pretty cool new park, and geoson had a great time on the fancy play structures whilst I searched around for the cache. I eventually spotted the said hook and uncovered the hide. According to my GPS, the coordinates are about 5 to 7 meters off. But if you follow the instructions in the hint it is fairly easy to locate. I retrieved the TB. SL TSLS TFTC! Smile

TFTF, all in good order. Have left a TB, so please keep it moving.

12-Apr-16
My second visit to the area in two weeks and a couple more caches placed since I was here last so they were first on the list for today.

The GPS did not have the local roads so I had to wing it to find the right way to the cache. The area around here is growing so fast.

It brought back memories of caching back when I started and we did not have maps on our GPS and had to use our senses to get close to caches.

I eventually parked close and was surprised by the scale of the playground they have built here. There was no a soul around so I could search without interruption. I think it could be a different story at times.

I struggled around the rocks and widened the search area and eventually found the hinted rock and uncovered the cache. The GPS was indicating that I was 10-12m from the posted coordinates. Sorry but I didn't take a reading from there.

An interesting cache container that I haven;t seen before.

TFTC.
