With the absence of rain today, I grabbed the youngest to head and find a cache today, so we picked a spot on the map of a town we hadn’t been to yet, and this was the one that sounded the best. Once at GZ, the cache took a brief search before spotting it as it was well covered over.

Working our way around the countryside seeking out solved ‘History of ….’ puzzles in the persistent rain.
So many small interesting towns to explore and think about the residents who live in such remote places.

Thanks Joshwa27 for the placement.

It was great taking a real rural road to grab this one, complete with two cattle grids and a wonderful spot at GZ. Thank you Joshwa27.

I decided a weekend dash north to finish my inland NSW counties was in order. The aim was Brewarrina for the two Earth Caches. Day 4. Today was my last day and I did a bit of caching as I traveled from Welling to home via Cowra.

Thanks for the cache Joshwa27

On my adventure returning to the Midwest district after a 50 year absence. Last full day but can still play“Tourist” and explore closer in and the mount.

We took a small detour away from our road to look for this one, and got to see a nice country road. Easy find at GZ.

2nd DNF today. Sad
If you are heading out this way to check the Stuart Town Multi, I'd recommend checking on this too... just in case. See PM.

This took a bit of finding. The log is wet, but it felt like waterproof paper. If so, it shouldn't fall apart. All other history cache logs today, were okay. TFTC Joshwa27.

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 140 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.

49th for the day at 1705 (124 for the trip). Puzzle solved beforehand and cache was a quick find at GZ, thanks Joshwa27.

A weekend trip up through this area with SpecimenX, AngelG27 and fitzy_1965 to grab a few caches up around these parts. Of course, this meant a few more in the neat History of series. Had a lot of fun researching the info and learning a little about the area. Once at GZ, the cache was found after a short search.

Thanks Joshwa27……still a great little series.

11311. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.

Headed out early again today for a final big run of caches before heading home to Canberra. Next stop for the day on a loop up to Wellington and back. Another quick find of the pre-solved puzzle at GZ in the fading light. Log signed, cache returned and we were off to the next one.

Thanks again Joshwa27 !!

This was a nice easy cache to find and we were soon on our way after putting our name on the log and returning the cache to its proper place. Thank you *JOSHWA27* for placing so many caches around country New South Wales to emphasise the local history and encourage people to come and discover these areas. We were soon on our way to make the next find on our list for the day.
