This is confusing, the owner said it is not on the harvester but that's where we found it! TFTC
With cmb212. Well that was fun. The cache is not on the harvester! Well we were struggling, so I spotted Morgo in the activity log. It's on the shed upright. What shed upright? So I sent him a picture. Found the cache whilst on the phone to him again. It's on the harvester now.
Looked for ages for this one a few weeks back. Bought an extra pair of eyes who had it within a few seconds. TFTC
TFTC Shaz6611 along with log a dog Scruffy easily found it. The cyclone earlier this year caused some damage.
This area has been danger taped off due to some of the buildings being unsafe due to cyclone damage.
Exploring the area a bit more than we did 7 years ago. More caches now too. This was an easy find. TFTC NewBut.
As expected early on a Monday morning the area at GZ was clear, I was able to make the quick find while the geo-twins learnt about the different machinery from grandad.
-----
With the school holidays upon us I arranged to take the geo-twins for a boys weekend away to the Northern Wheatbelt for some camping and caching, we were joined on the trip by my father in law as he grew up in the area and wanted to try and get to see some of the wildflowers.
-----
Day four, the homeward journey.
We packed up bright and early enjoying the crisp morning and headed to grab the cache in town before starting the drive southwards. A quick tour of Buntine, the childhood home of my father-in-law.
The target for the day was to grab a cache in Wongan-Ballidu to be able to tick off another LGA, we did this with success at out first cache attempt. With all the goals for the weekend wrapped up we drove hard for Bindoon for lunch and then non-stop to home.
We all had a fantastic time away, I was able to grab 8 new LGA’s and explored some country that I haven’t been to before.
----
Thanks NewBut for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2473 for me.

Happened to stop across the road for a comfort break. Opened the app and after a walk, we had the cache in hand.
I think Bush Chook might sponsor the local hotel.

Lovely to see the local Community Garden and the peas were delicious. Having fun officially logging caches now with my geocaching buddies and using the lingo TFTC
Staying in Perenjori for a few days looking for wildflowers. Unfortunately the wreath flowers are not out, but plenty to see. Lovely rain for the farmers.
Found cache, good hide. Thanks for the cache.

Hi there NewBut. While out on the road today we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. Most caches found today wer found quickly although several beat us for a time. It was a great day with 37 finds and no DNF's. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to NewBut for this cache - our find 8033
Wildflower chasing in the wheatbelt and trying to tick off a few shires off the map.

Staying in Perenjori for a few days so a walk up town to locate the cache was the order of the day. A nice quick find. We didn’t bring a pen so couldn’t sign the log, sorry. Tftc
Well done Perenjori! Excellent community garden/museum and a fine mural. Next I’ll find out if the beer’s cold at the hotel.
A quick find for us today! Thanks NewBut for bringing us to this interesting place!
This morning was a great day for caching with it being overcast and a lot cooler. So it was off on the hunt with ilook4geo. We had a good day, with picking up some caches along the route we took, as we headed southish again.
Each cache found had both names added to the paperwork and each cache was found to be in good order. We are gathering caches in as many LGAs as we can while we are in WA. Thanks go to NewBut for this cache placement.

Out to pick up a few caches today with goingplaces2. Nice day and good caches found. Most were easily found. It was a fun day of travelling and caching. Thanks to each CO for the smiley gained.
A few days overnight in Carnamah so headed out today for a GeoExplore to add to our LGA tally.

TFTC. Your cache and the information in the ‘Description’ was the reason we stopped in Perenjori on our way back to Yuna after travelling around Australia with our caravan. I have blogged of our travels, so after walking and enjoying the Perenjori Heritage Trail, I now have lots of info and snaps to blog my Perenjori Story. Thanks heaps again.
Travelling between Geraldton and Wongan Hills, we stopped here to stretch our legs. Great spot for a cache. Spent awhile looking at all he old machinery - the geo son loved the sunshine harvester (he is slightly farm obsessed). Tftc
What a pretty little town. There was some event going on in the main street but not-one noticed us grabbing this hide. Thanks NewBut
Continuing our adventures and enjoying the beautiful display of wildflowers that WA is currently showcasing we took the opportunity to broaden our smilie hunt, happy to say we came up trumps here TFTC
Quick find on our way to Latham for the caravan club trekabout. Museum Open only during wildflower season.
We decided to stay overnight in Perenjori and after sorting out the night accomodation we went for a walk around the town. This is another spot where we spent a bit more time than expected as we wandered around all the old machinery.

This trip through the Goldfields has been a while in the planning and the main mission was to collect caches in at least another 8 Local Government Areas to qualify for a challenge cache recently set up by megawatt60! I didn’t really have a plan on where I would be sleeping and was happy to throw the swag down once the daylight became in short supply. From Kalgoorlie I headed north as far as Leinster with a few deviations along the way. I then headed west through Mt Magnet and then meandered my way back towards Perth. I had GC and GCA caches lined up and tried to grab as many as I could while passing by. Cheers to all the CO’s for the hides and hopefully I can head back one day soon to clean up the caches I wasn’t able to find on this trip. TFTC

A work trip to Geraldton gave me the chance to drive the long way and cross off another couple of LGAs.
Headed out from home early heading for Perenjori, Morawa and then Geraldton.
Super fast find here on a warm day. Another lga ticked off.

Agree with previous comment. Once again husband enjoyed looking at the old machinery. Tftc
Love this town! Pity the flowers didn't show this year at the usual time. More a pity for the farmers I would think with the lack of rain. Easy find on a very quiet afternoon.

A fine but windy day to be out and about. Managed to grab 24 today with 1 DNF . What a beautiful part of Australia. I wish I had more time too look around. Another time. A nice straight forward find here. What an interesting place.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment NewBut. Appreciate your effort.

Had a great arvo showing the kids machinery took a while but was worth while thanks great arvo
Day 4 of our mini road trip which was meant to start in Perenjori but didn't quite make it so stayed last night at Mullewa Pub and enjoyed a lovely meal there too. So today it's Mullewa to Wongan Hills via Xanthippe, Pithara and Ballidu.
Have a few caches on my list so fingers crossed we can manage as many as possible as I'm chasing numbers on this trip
Turns out another warm day in town and I didn't pack my shorts
Have to admit muggle is good at this but it was me that had to let my fingers do the walking, being short like I am.
Met a lovely geocaching family here, fancy that of all places Perenjori

We have travelled from Greenough along the Great Central Road to Uluru and Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience Mega event and stopped here on our way home after travelling a slightly different route for some work commitments. The cache was found quite easily thanks to the given information. It is definitely there despite two recent DNF's. It is also definitely magnetic although this is not necessary for the find. I love the concept of the community garden and am glad this cache brought me here. Thanks for making our journey more interesting by placing this cache.
on a day trip sightseeing and checking where parents history we found a couple smilies today in amongst the photo stops we also got a couple sad faces to add to the trip.
thanks for bringing us to these scenic locations and outback towns

Headed back up to Geraldton for another caching run (third time this year). We started off by picking up as many caches as we could in the wheatbelt on the first day before arriving in Geraldton. The next day we headed up to port Gregory and Kalbarri and the highlight of the day would have to be be the pink lakes in port Gregory. Day 3 saw us caching in Geraldton picking up some we missed last time and clearing up a few of our DNFS here before adding some more DNFS to the list. Day 4 we headed off to mount magnet picking up some caches along the way till we arrived there. I must say the caches in mount magnet were quite tricky to find and it was also a stinking hot day so we didn't get to find all the caches we were hoping to find there. The last day we cached along the coast on the way home. Once again it was stinking hot and we missed doing a lot of the caches we hoped to find plus the flies were driving us crazy but we still got to visit some great places. Most of the caches we looked for we did find and we came across some very sneaky well made cache containers along the way. Thanks to all the CO,s for placing there caches for us and all the other geocachers to find.
Maintenance run. Checked, cache still in good condition, log replaced with more "professional one".
Happy cacheing.

Fantastic mix of Community Garden and old machinery. Perenjorie is a lovely town and the walk is very informative. TFTC
We have just returned to Perth from a 1400km wildflower tour of our WA countryside and, when the opportunity permitted, grabbing a few caches along the way. This was a delightful cache as the location had been well selected by NewBut to draw Geocaching visitors into an area of historical interest. Good job!
Thanks for the cache NewBut
