We looked and looked but couldn't make enough sense of the hint and older logs to make this one into a find today...Cute lamas, though!
Thanks for your amazing cacheTheWonferStuff. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. While traveling from Waihi Beach to Whitianga it was time for lunch so what better place to stop but outside Coffee Cozy. Nice lunch so now time to get this cache that eluded us on the last trip north. The llamas are amazing but the coordinates weren't quite right so I looked around and smiled. I saw the possibility and was right. Found with Fisha1288 Cheers, Cympull.
" While traveling north this week, I stumbled upon this awesome hidden gem! The perfect spot to stretch the legs and take in the scenery. Love finding caches in places like thisquiet, tucked away, and a great reminder of why I love geocaching! Thanks for the adventure! Ninjas "
The last time I looked for this cache all that remained of it was the lid of an eclipse tin. Strangely not long after that another cacher also only found the lid, but they decided that was enough to count as a find!!Anyway, today I am back, and now making up for not getting a ftf on a cache close to home by now finding 3 of the COs caches in less than 15 minutes. After reading the hint I looked in horror at the possible locations, but then looked a bit further and recognised something. It might have been a very quick find, but I lost count of the number of times I tried to replace the cache without the log falling out or sticking out the side.

On our trip through New Zealand today we looked for geocaches on our drive to Auckland. Luckily we found a nice spot to take some home with us.Many thanks to CO for laying this cache. With warm geocach greetings from the Netherlands
Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
EnglishWe are six Norwegians on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Melbourne at the beginning of February and are traveling home after the mega event in Adelaide. We travel by car and Geocaching helps us discover many nice places and often helps to decide where we choose the route between our goals which are: Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Dunedeen, and Adelaide. As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
A brief stop in Wellsford on the way north to Whangarei with rattll. Taking note of the previous logs, we made sure to have a replacement container with us. Sure enough, at GZ, only the lid to be found. The new container is an eclipse tin, hidden under natural cover. Tftc!
Heading up north for a week or two with matagouri, picking up any caches we can safely pull over at with the campervan as we go.We found a park around the back of the shops and walked to GZ. Knowing the previous finders were only finding the lid, we took a replacement 'mint tin' and left that. Thanks for setting this up
On a trip from Hawkes bay. Mr b used to work in the restaurant right here so stopped to have a look at the place to see what it's like 20 years later. Looked and saw a cache right by!! Only the lid survives. A great spot here.Thank you TheWonderStuff for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 4955

2150. A great spot for a cache; however the cache needs attention. We found the lid and signed it eK. Found with eKitten. TFT(llama)C.
Found the llamas, found the cabbages, found the heart of the cabbages. But no cache. The only thing in the centre of the cabbages was the missing lid from the eclipse tin, unless people around here have a habit of covering their mint tins with tape. No stones in the heart to hide a cache under, checked under the big stone but all I could find was a chocolate wrapper.
No doubt somebody will log a quick and easy find tomorrow though.

Found with goldielover today on our way home.
We needed a reason to stop and check out these sculpture.
All good here with your cache

Up this way from oamaru for a wedding and only had time for this cache after having breakfast in nearby cafe. Tftc.
A last minute return trip to Whangarei offered the opportunity to pick off a handful of park and grab caches north of the big city.
A quick toilet break in Wellsford and this cache was close enough by to enable a quick park and wander.
No dramas with the llamas for me today.
Thanks TheWonderStuff

I was driving thru town and stopped for a mocha then thought it would be rude not to grab this one while I was here. Nice quick find. TFTC
Easy find. No lid. Paper full. Put some more in container. Big fat slug in there also.
Day 1 of our three day Geocaching trip to Whangarei. This stage included the drive from Auckland Airport to Whangarei and caching the last 30 or so km's before getting there as well as some caching to the west in the late afternoon early evening. We signed the log as BIC for BFG, Infoferret and CrystalFairy.

28 October 2022 12:44 A 3 day expedition to the areas north of Auckland with Crystal Fairy and Barefootguru, most logs signed as BIC to save space and time. The focus of the trip was to find a number of puzzle caches solved over the last couple of years, plus other caches of interest we passed.
Found as part of a lunch stop, now heading further north.
TFTC TheWonderStuff for placing this cache, number 11825 for me.

Quick park n find. Found with Reny90 and Coffeejoel on our trip up north. The log is full and the container is missing its lid. Some maintenance is required
Quick find, I think I took the last spot on the log here, and I didn’t have spare RITR paper. TFTC the Wonderstuff.
Last day of our trip up North, today we are heading to Auckland and flying home.
In the meantime, a few caches on our travels. Just ones that look interesting, or are on our side of the road, and with an eye on the clock as we make sure we meet our flight.
Thanks all COs for placing and maintaining.

Thanks for hiding this cache TheWonderStuff I appreciate it. JDScout flew ️ to Auckland. We've got 7 days in Northland and one of our activities is geocaching. This was our first stop. Time for morning tea.
We are travelling North for a week's holiday in the Bay of Islands but have time to spare for a few caches along the journey. We made this one our first stop. Pretty sure we found a cache near these llamas some years ago. Today there were not too many people around so we were able to make a stealthy grab of the container. TFTC
A well deserved holiday break for Mr and Mrs NZTravellers saw us heading up to Russell with Geodog in tow.
A very leisurely drive up getting a few caches as they presented for either a food or loo break for Geodog.
Had attempted this one previously but it wasn't there and were happy today to knock this off.
Geodog was very patient sitting while the log was found.

Out for dinner on a overnight stay here on our way home after a week up north, decided to wander down to get this cache, forgot a pen, cache lid is loose, but cache still dry and safe, tftc
Cache had flown out, my mum found it and we put it back where we think it’s supposed to go, might want to check though!
It was dark when I stopped here and so I didn't quite get the name and then I spotted it and another! Nice ... thanks TheWonderStuff.
#13,554. We did not find the cache here back in November 2017, when the cache was missing. Glad to return for a park, walk and grab here on Rodney Street (Twin Coast Discovery Highway | New Zealand State Highway 1) in Wellsford. Someone had just finished their picnic by GZ, and they soon left. GZ was then all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find this time. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us back to this site, and .T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e..M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.

Heading north to Whangarei so stopped to check out the llamas, nice quick find here
A quick find on a wet and wild evening. Not many people about so perfect. A cool spot..tftc
Today my caching mission was to head North to Northland to find enough caches to make progress towards fulfilling the requirements of a challenge not far from where I live. The weather today was perfect - a real change from the last few days. So nice I was able to have the top down on my convertible cachemobile once the sun was up far enough. Found in the first place I checked as per the hint. TFTC, Biggles.
A very quick and easy find wouldn’t have noticed the llamas without this cache!
Thanks!
Thanks!
North Island Campervan trip Day 7
After the fantastic holiday I had a few months ago traveling around the South Island, making the most of one of those incredibly cheap campervan deals available at the time, I figured it was worth taking a week off work before the stresses of the usual holiday period to enjoy some of the delights to be found around the top of the North Island.
This would be a great chance for me to seek out some targeted caches such as the TMGT ones as well as some that would help me with my Jasmer grid, missing minutes (for a couple of challenge caches I'm working on) and any other caches that caught my eye.
Last night I ended up spending the night at the DOC site near Okere Falls, which was nicely quiet and a great place to start my day from. I knew that tonight I would be in Kaiwaka visiting friends there, but today would be a lot of driving to get there so plenty of opportunity for caching. By the time I got to here, the afternoon rush hour traffic out of Auckland was in full swing, so the roads were pretty busy.
I was always going to stop in Wellsford on my way through, as I wanted to make sure all was well with my own cache here. So why not stop and try for this one too whilst I'm here? I was able to park up and walk over to this one without too much fuss. The cache itself only took me a moment to locate and finding no big issues with the cache or the log I quickly added my name to the sheet and then was back on my way again.
Thanks for setting this cache up.

Whilst mrs capperz ordered out beakfast at the golden arches I headed out for this one. Have been here before without success but a better look this time revealed the cache which was replaced as per the hint and camo added. T F T C TWS
After just about a week in the area of Northland it's the day to head back to the airport and return the hire car, and fly back home. There was time for a fe wcaches on the way, both Northland and Auckland, so that was nice. A good weekend away, and some great weather too.
After a weekend in Wellington and catching up with my UK based mother and her cruise trip to NZ, we made the most of being up here on the North Island and added an extra 6 days in Northland to the trip itinerary. We flew up to Auckland on Sunday afternoon and after a faff around with a hire car we took the scenic/dark route up the Helennsville highway to the North. Arrived late on Sunday night and straight to sleep. We had a week with son Ed and his 4 under 3 years old children. Fun time was had and some nice experiences.

Today is the final run to finish off our remaining TMGT caches - naturally we'll find a few more to keep ourselves busy. This was found while stopping for gas at the nearby station. A tricky find and some maintenance was required as we couldn't have people signing leaves could we LOL. All good to go now though. Cheers TWS, TFTC

TheWonderStuff, we didn’t find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasn’t for lack of trying though! Looked everywhere but no sign of anything even vaguely resembling a cache. Hint seems very clear but alas it’s not there!!
