This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

2 in 2 days where it looks like council have been, lopped trees and potentially taken away cache by accident.

17-Jul-18
Looks like council has removed it from cutting all the trees! Twice in 2 days this has happened!!!

Our first opportunity for a day of geocaching for the Hidden Creatures souvenir challenge promotion. Lovely sunny weather, good friends and some lovely grub gave us some smilies.

---
Approached GZ and it was VERY exposed, no possible hide locations. Extended the search radius, and no luck in the holes inside the radius.

Gut instinct says it was hidden at the base of a tree, but there was no tree at GZ, I suspect Council has removed it based on the ground at GZ.

Will have to come back another time.

After much searching we found it!! A super fun quick after school find

15-Apr-18
Needing one cache today for my personal 2018 challenge to have 5 finds on each calendar date I headed over to Greystanes again for my search.
The Darling River was my first stop.
Perhaps a bit different to the real thing where I have enjoyed exploring the outback (sadly before I knew about geocaching!).

The carpark was almost empty and I chose a spot in the full sun but way away from the possibility of falling branches from the gale force winds today!

I followed the GPS which took me to an area where the hint fitted. The caching gods must have been onside because before I began searching I realised I had not updated the co-ords on my device. Bit of fiddling and I was heading to another spot. The cache was then an easy find (clue doesn't really match).

Located at 9:51pm. My first find in four days. Thursday just before Good Friday was the last day I cached. I picked up a tree climb multi and a traditional both before starting work. After a busy Easter hunting property, I ducked out quickly to pick up a couple of caches. Hoping to hit 600 tomorrow morning ‍ This cache was a DNF avenged. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

OCW Coastblue, we had logged several caches before attempting this one, and we searched for a good twenty minutes and just after midnight we decided to abandon the search. Our compasses were wavering wildly the entire time. We shall return.

07-Dec-17
OCW Alephroom. My second visit here and my second DNF. A 20 minute search had us all over the car park. We no sooner got down to a few meters and we were sent in another direction. Maybe next time.

11-Nov-17
Logging a DNF as we couln't find it. We parked close to the co-ords, as previous logs indicated that these were accurate and used the geo-mobile as cover, as there were kids playing in the carpark. Will be back another time.

08-Nov-17
Weekdays make for easy finding in car parks that would otherwise be crowded with sporting types. Very accurate coords. Thanks wraacie.

#808 came here late afternoon but some of the devils were still around k8cking balls around. Didn't see Kid Ron Satan though. Came back 10pm it was a lot darker, colder & no devils (they must have found somewhere warmer). With a torch in hand set about looking for the cache. Did a lap and didn’t spot it so started a second lap. What was that a bit of investigation and had cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache wraacie. I think that was my 4th trip here there was either cricket or league the previous times.

No. 656

I parked on the street and walked over, soon realising that I could have parked closer, in the parking lot! Thankfully no one around, coz I didn't want to stay for long. After a minute or so I spied the cache. I'm not very tall, but with a little manoeuvring with the structure, I had it in hand. Signed, replaced, and got out of there. TFTC.

Nano caches are usually interesting to find, as was this one. The GPS pointed us in the right direction and then it just entailed a very careful and detailed search before the cache container came to light. We agree with others about the level that needs to be inspected, as this proved to be correct. After adding our name to the log the cache was returned to its hiding place and we were soon on our way. Thank you wraacie for placing this cache to be found and enjoyed by us as well as our fellow cachers.

Thanks wraacie for placing this cache

First of five this morning to clean up Greystanes.
Wow, large hole in the sewer vent is a major concern! Can see a blockage here from idiots throwing stuff down there.
NOTE TO ALL: Please don't place your hands inside, (sharp edges = cuts, sickness).
This sewer vent needs to be patched as a short term and replaced.
Anyway, thank Maurice

#3590- I spent a bit of time wandering back and forth between a few different things before using a paf. As he told me I was in the right spot, I saw it. I had no hope of getting to it on my own today, but luckily it's a busy spot- I enlisted the help of two guys passing by- at first I think they thought I was mad, but they went along with it and I had CIH, before they returned it to the same spot for me. Thanks

Having spent my day at work on my holidays to clean up after someone has broken into my office, I found myself in this area to have a go at a new cache. It was dark and there were three cars in the car park. When one of the muggles came closer to see what I was doing I just pretended I had dropped something in the grass, he seemed to think I was no threat and went back to the clubhouse without even questioning me. After a few minutes search I spotted the cache but found it was just out of my reach, luckily I have a couple of tools in my car to help me stretch that little further. #2939 (Streak day 330)

OK, so I'm back after five days away up at the Gold Coast, with a lot of driving (& caching) up and back. Having checked my finds up and back, I've discovered I finally qualify for the *NSW State Challenge* cache - big milestone coming up).
So today, I really want to collapse at home, but the streak needs feeding - just over a month from 366 days (a full year given this is a leap year). As a result it's a quick run out to make an easy grab, then home.

I didn't originally choose this one, but the nearby target had muggles all over it, so I rerouted here where I found only a few muggles, but nothing problematic.

To help in the search I checked the logs - gave me an idea or two - and so at GZ it was in the first place I looked. Well that was fortunate. I was obscured from the nearest muggles so made the quick grab and took well away to complete signing duties.

Easily extracted the log - using the tool provided by the cache container - and completed signing duties. Then wandered back the long way for the replace.

That's me done for today - time to head home.

Took geoson out this morning to his t-ball park. Started search, trying to look inconspicuous, as thought a muggle was present. However, easy find as it was kid ron satan- thanks for assistance. Hope we can pass on the favour in future.

11/4/16. 11:46 AM. Cache #3726. Streak day #659.
2nd of 2 today - yesterday's new publishes in Pemulwuy & Greystanes.

An easy park & grab at "It's my first day" and then headed over here for something a little trickier. The only muggles in the area were playing cricket uphill - neither of us could see each other but every now and then I heard the crack of bat on ball.

Tried a few spots, then re-read the description and TC's log - if he was able to spot it, then I might save myself from sticking my finger into places where I might get bitten. But then where was it? Back and forth between several of the features in the area. Texted TC but before a reply came I finally caught sight of it. Needed a tool to help with retrieval. Signed as 2TF and had just closed it up again when a mother and son arrived in the car park.

I walked back to my car with cache in hand, watching them for a while, before deciding that the young fella was looking for it. Walked over and gave the usual 'looking for something?' greeting. I was right, and it turns out they know the CO. Handed it over (an easier job for them than I had), showed them where to put it back and then headed for home. TFTC.

Found one of two today after a car service. The place was quiet except for the sounds of a lawnmower in the distance.
Thanks for the cache.

11-Apr-16
Ah.... geocaching can be frustrating. I probably could have had a FTF yesterday even with the muggles around. My signal had me 5m away yesterday and even though I checked the correct place, the different light at 5.45pm then compared to 3.15pm today was significant. This time I saw it at first glance whereas yesterday the more subdued light made it less visible.
