We have been on the road for a few days travelling south from Geraldton zig zagging our way across the state picking up caches in as many LGA's that we hadn't previously visited as we could. Also on the radar were Adventure Labs and anything else that came across our radar.
This was a great location with lots of information around, we really enjoyed the stop here and a novel hide to boot and lots of stuff to see so we are leaving a favourite point for bringing us here otherwise or we would never have known this place existed
Thanks for the cache.

Finally found it on the second visit to this location, with the help of another geo cachet… some of the clues that we read really do not refer to where this is hidden…. Thank you for hiding this it did our head in
Heading to Broome via Nullagine and criss-crossing the northern wheatbelt with axell33. This deserves a favourite point for frustration and novelty! You really never know what you may find in the bush. We searched all over for ages here. Then axell33 did some research and put a few things together that lead us to the cache! Great hide, TYFTC here.
Heading north to Broome in a zigzag fashion we stopped to grab this one. We searched for about 10 minutes with no luck, so I took time to read a few logs but still nothing. So started to search a new area and then a lightbulb moment with something I read and something I search collided in my head and went straight back to the spot for another search and sure enough there it was. We made our mark on your log and returned your cache back to where we found it. This is a cool little spot. TFTC reticbob.
Heading back home after Xmas on the farm. Planning to stop and hunt my way back. Hoping the 41 degrees wont come to fruition. Taking the inland road this trip. Thanks to the CO’s for placing caches in remote areas for us wonderlusters to enjoy.
Process of illumination - yum - this one is my kinda hide! TFTC

Great quirky spot. Would totally have given up on the cache if not for a hint in the logs.
A Beautiful Little Stop to See all the pretty flowers
A tricky find but an EGGsellent one

A trip from Mandurah to Geraldton with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Took a while to find. Yum.

Travelling from Morawa to Beacon through the vast wheatbelt, we stopped at this quirky park. I wandered around and around, poking and prodding, but it was Muggle Husband who had the right idea about where to look.
Not too hard to find but a good location.
Spending the next 3 days finding geo caches spinning locations on a map with my girlfriend ????

On my birthday weekend we decided to do geocaching and adventure very unplanned way. We spined the bottle and drove about an hour to the direction it points and do geocaching. Latham was our second stop. Tftc!
Fantastic hide away, after walking around in circles. On our way home ️
Take care

Circled around a few times before the gps settled and we were able to retrieve and sign the cache. Interesting place to wander around. Thanks for bringing us here.
AS we were searching a local stopped his car and said us where to find the cache.

On a road trip up to the Mid West. Today, we drove to Morawa, Latham, Wubin and on to Dalwallinu where we stopped for the night. We enjoyed the variety of hides, particularly those that were placed on or near signs that depicted the history of the area. Thank you to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment. Amazing little spot. We enjoyed our stroll around the quirky gardens and the cache was a quick find.....although it had the potential to take a whole lot longer.
Find #4015 for us today.

Great find with the kids. We loved the chance to stop and stretch the legs while looking at all if the old things.
Co-ordinates were spot on & with a few trial & errors I found it. So quiet here you could hear a pin drop. As they say, quirky gardens where nothing goes to waste. Excellent camp across the road too. TFTC
Looked around here for ages. Such a quirky spot. Was about to give up but had another look and thought I wonder if it’s there? Yep it was! On to Perenjori now. TFTH!
A nice quick find then it was back to the motorhome for some chocolate. Tftc
Heading to Geraldton for IGD with parkacruz and collecting a few smilies on the way of course. TFTC Reticbob
A local stopped as we were searching and wished us luck. Found a short time later.

On a business trip from Merredin to Geraldton and allowed some extra time to pick up some caches along the way including this one
Looked in the wrong tree to start with. Once the correct tree was located the cache was quickly found.
Thanks reticbob for the cache - all was in good order.

This morning was a great day for caching with it being overcast and a lot cooler. So it was off on the hunt with ilook4geo. We had a good day, with picking up some caches along the route we took, as we headed southish again.
Each cache found had both names added to the paperwork and each cache was found to be in good order. We are gathering caches in as many LGAs as we can while we are in WA. Thanks go to reticbob for this cache placement. There were a lot of fun residents in this tree but only one held the prize - and we found it.

Out to pick up a few caches today with goingplaces2. Nice day and good caches found. Most were easily found. It was a fun day of travelling and caching. Thanks to each CO for the smiley gained.
It’s my second visit to this one. I nearly came away empty handed again But I checked a place I”d already checked and there it was.
A hot day out caching before Xmas. A great opportunity to get out in the country and clear out the cobwebs.
reticbob SVKR_WA found your cache Latham today at 13:47:02 22 Dec 2018.
I am happy to have found it and thank you for placing it and adding to this great game.
This find brings my find count to 3340
Found by Mary & David at 1325. Stopped here on our way back south. We'd just found the cache and were logging our find when who should arrive but crank1 and Everlasting. What a great place. A FP for making us stop. Our thanks to reticbob.
A little bit of a hunt in this quirky spot, all good in the end though the log is a teeny bit damp, dealing is missing.
Continuing our adventures and enjoying the beautiful display of wildflowers that WA is currently showcasing we took the opportunity to broaden our smilie hunt, happy to say we came up trumps here TFTC
I liked the info here, especially about His Majesty's, a favourite place of mine. Nice place and cache. A favourite. TFTC
Thank heaven for that ..., realistically I should be half way home by now. I didn’t fancy going a long way out of my way in the other direction to pick up this LGA, so thought about what other loggers had said and DER finally got it. Verrryyy happy. I was amazed at how incredibly quiet it was here which always a bonus when looking like an idiot! Well done to CO and the local community for such a wonderful creative community space.
This one took a while to locate the right host. I actually felt in it a couple of time then went around the other side reached in and had it in my hand. As I was taking a pic of a Tb in the Tb race the caretaker arrived and said there is one of those thingys in the tree that you register on the computer. He was telling me that hat his brother and himself have done all the work at the site. TFTC
Another one of those places we would not have pulled over for if not for geocaching. What I thought would be a quick park and grab ended up being a 20 minutes stop as we walked around the various 'displays'
When I saw GZ my heart sank, so many possibilities but luckily I found the cache in the first place I checked.

This trip through the Goldfields has been a while in the planning and the main mission was to collect caches in at least another 8 Local Government Areas to qualify for a challenge cache recently set up by megawatt60! I didn’t really have a plan on where I would be sleeping and was happy to throw the swag down once the daylight became in short supply. From Kalgoorlie I headed north as far as Leinster with a few deviations along the way. I then headed west through Mt Magnet and then meandered my way back towards Perth. I had GC and GCA caches lined up and tried to grab as many as I could while passing by. Cheers to all the CO’s for the hides and hopefully I can head back one day soon to clean up the caches I wasn’t able to find on this trip. TFTC
G’day there reticbob, I was in this area today and found your cache Latham GC6F4R6. I added my name to the log book at 10:17 am on 5 April 2018. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

A nice quick find here on our wheat belt wander! Spent sometime looking around the garden! TFTC Reticbob!
A quick find on a beautiful spring day.
The last weekend of the holidays and what better way to spend it. Geocaching around the Golden Wheatbelt showcasing some interesting, beautiful and historical places along the way.
This is why we enjoy geocaching.

On our way home from an overnight in Morawa and grabbing a cache here and there as we go.
I had to have this one on my list to try and rectify my dnf the last time I was here.
This time when I went to GZ and searched there muggle yelled from the car that he had looked there last time we were here.
Well obviously he didn't search good enough(yep a man search never quite cuts it like a woman search ) as I had cache in hand within a second of getting out of the car.
A nice quick one and no comment from muggle

A quick find as we passed through this area looking for wildflowers and places to camp on future expeditions. The cache and log are in good condition. Thanks to reticbob for the cache.
What a lot of work has gone into this outdoor museum. Loved walking around and finding lots of treasures. Cache was easy to find too.
GPS had us around the tree with the dolls/toys - not sure if this correct? As we found nothing.
TFTH reticbob Out with geo family to keep son company while on a work trip!! What better way to spend family time than in a vehicle between two grandkids!!!! Had a great time. Lovely spot that someone has put a lot of effort into. geo L made the find with the help of geo R. Thanks for the opportunity to find a cache at the end of our trip. Now to return to Gero, with a lunch stop on the way. SL and retuned as found.
GeoJ had to drive to Latham for work today so we and Magpie51 all tagged along for the drive from Geraldton. There was beautiful scenery to admire and the low lying clouds to drive through. Magpie51 kept the GeoKiddies amused with books and I Spy. When we arrived at GZ GeoJ headed off to his job and we were on the clock to find the cache before he returned. What a super little park! There was much to look at and admire. Someone has put a lot of time into making this area bright and interesting. We hunted high and low for the cache but it was teamwork that made the find possible. A great hide Reticbob! TFTC!
Fresh morn after relaxing camp near by. Magic weatherfor touring, though the farmers are looking for rain.

Day 4 of our mini road trip which was meant to start in Perenjori but didn't quite make it so stayed last night at Mullewa Pub and enjoyed a lovely meal there too. So today it's Mullewa to Wongan Hills via Xanthippe, Pithara and Ballidu.
Have a few caches on my list so fingers crossed we can manage as many as possible as I'm chasing numbers on this trip
Turns out another warm day in town and I didn't pack my shorts
GPS had me going in circles and being on time restrictions we called it quits to head to Xanthippe for the next
Thanks anyway

Headed back up to Geraldton for another caching run (third time this year). We started off by picking up as many caches as we could in the wheatbelt on the first day before arriving in Geraldton. The next day we headed up to port Gregory and Kalbarri and the highlight of the day would have to be be the pink lakes in port Gregory. Day 3 saw us caching in Geraldton picking up some we missed last time and clearing up a few of our DNFS here before adding some more DNFS to the list. Day 4 we headed off to mount magnet picking up some caches along the way till we arrived there. I must say the caches in mount magnet were quite tricky to find and it was also a stinking hot day so we didn't get to find all the caches we were hoping to find there. The last day we cached along the coast on the way home. Once again it was stinking hot and we missed doing a lot of the caches we hoped to find plus the flies were driving us crazy but we still got to visit some great places. Most of the caches we looked for we did find and we came across some very sneaky well made cache containers along the way. Thanks to all the CO,s for placing there caches for us and all the other geocachers to find.
Awesome. Met The lady who's built the garden. It's a credit to her. Love it. Thanks
Really wanted to find it but both our phones kept sending us in circles. Incredible garden. Could have stayed a lot longer except the flies drove us away... TFTC
My partner called to tell me that she had just made a purchase over the internet, and the goods were located in Geraldton, so I hatched a route to grab as many country caches as I could along the way.
This one took a few minutes to find...and I was beginning to give in. I refused to give up and eventually I spotted it in a place I should have checked earlier. What a great little garden.
TFTC reticbob.
reticbob, I found your cache Latham on 3/10/2016.
