Visited GZ today and found that the host tree has been removed. After digging for a while in the dirt and vegetation debris, I uncovered the cache still in good condition, but it's little wonder that there's been some recent DNFs. Cache has been re-hidden a few metres away, the calculation for WP7 (final GZ location) and the hint have both been updated accordingly.
Despite all due diligence in our search we couldn't uncover a treasure.enjoyed the hunt very much.
Followed all clues but nothing there. Suspect the local youth have misplaced it.
I think that this was the longest multi that we’ve ever done in terms of number of waypoints, although we have found a mystery with more, but both that one and this multi were very good. We were in Margate today with some spare time, so we decided to use it to do some caching. After getting the answers for the nearby EarthCache we drove down to Dru Point to make a start on this multi. We didn’t have much time so we didn’t expect to able to finish it, but a notebook that we found in the car made things easier, and we were able to get to GZ with just enough time left to find the cache and get back to the car. A fun multi, favourite point given.
Thanks for the cache EeePees & Ev!

We started this ages ago, and then S_38 solved the final also ages ago. Today was my turn to finally put my name in the log! As to he expected on a beautiful day like this, it’s packed! Thanks for the adventure!
Checked in late this arvo, lots of muggle doggie walkers out and about.
All's well with the cache, sitting safe & sound, and nice & dry, at GZ.

Found it! First multi cache and it was heaps of fun! Beautiful spot! Nice tour of dru point- Thankyou!
I must admit I was dubious when I saw a 7 point multi with 26 letters in such a big park. Turned out to beat nice easy afternoon stroll with a beautiful finish as the sun began to set over the water. Thousands of water birds of all kinds here today. Thanks for hiding this cache EeePees & Ev
Found. I did enjoy this little multi. Thanks. First day out doing it with my dog.
Down south again on a lovely day, i decided on this MultiCache.
What a fun Multi it was and so well done. All the WP's were easy enough to compile and work out.
(I did learn one thing when gathering the info...... 'p' is not the same as 'q' lol, that was quickly corrected before i set off to the next wp when something didn't look right )
Off to the final and the cache was found quickly with a stealth mode something the FBI would be jealous of

Thanks for showing me Dru Point to which i've never been to before today and for a fun MultiCache, EeePees & Ev

Good tour of Dry point. Muggles everywhere at GZ! Had to wait for ages before approaching. Tftc!
While caching in the area we picked your cache up along the way.
An enjoyable multi in a great park, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Only a few people out and about this afternoon - a nice stroll about this area with time to actually read the signs ! [:o)]
All the calculations added up perfectly and the waypoints spot on !

After a week in Tasmania, and spending a few days on Bruny Island, it was time to make my way back to catch my flight home to Adelaide.
I had targeted a few caches along the way including some solved Mystery caches, Multis, Traditionals, a Letterbox and some Lab caches.
This was a nice little multi in what was a very popular little area this morning. I walked part of the track, but used the driving option where I could due to an injured knee. All of the required information was gathered without any issues and the cache was quickly found in good order in the first place I looked.
Thanks EeePees for the cache.

Yay did the walk, got the hints off all the signs and and transfers the letters and into numbers using the grid
But couldn’t figure what to do next using the numbers

Find number 10! Its turned into a perfect afternoon and we highly enjoyed this series. Fun, educational and relaxing. Thanks Eepees.
Thanks very much for this multicache. It took us on a nice little walk on a beautiful winters day ( after 2 freezing and snowy winter days). Many thanks.
A couple of weeks late logging but a fun multi and well worth the effort. Even learnt a couple of things along the way. Well done.
out and about with the Rafas caching and this was number eleven for the day, an easy find with clues, TFTC TNLN log dry. a good overcast day threatening to rain all day and cool but the rain stayed away. a nice easy multi with plenty of history. a fav from me.
Thanks for the cache EeePees and KingSmev.
Today RLD4963 and I headed to the Margate area with the GeoGSP to see if we could find all the new caches that have recently been published in the area, and also do a few old ones that we had not got around to doing previously.
We really enjoyed visiting all the waypoints - lots of different areas set aside for different reasons and purposes.
Turns out we gathered all the correct info and made a nice quick find at GZ. All is well with the cache.

Have started this one a couple of times when at the park but run out of time to finish, so today I was determined to get it done. Enjoyed the informative walk around the park. TFTC
Down to Hobart from Launceston with gridge98 we stopped to find this one. I am only catchup on logs from last year now apologies for the late log.

We decided to come and have a look at this multi, we slowly made our way around collecting the information and sometimes guessed where the next waypoint may be. I usually tend to stay clear of multis this long. After all the info was had we went to GZ, no body around the cache was soon found. Then we enjoyed the so called “adult” equipment for a bit of a laugh.
I headed down to Hobart for a an overnight trip with nettieknows, with a bit of a road trip on the cards we stopped along the way to pick up a few caches here and there.
All the caches found were in good condition.

It was a really nice morning for a stroll along the water with the kids and dog. Families everywhere and cute little ducklings wandering along the waters edge with their mum. TFTC and the adventure! Left pathtag.
We think that the tree was under has fallen over and been cut down we’re not sure though we think it needs maintenance
Checked, it's still in place.
Looks like some dead and/or dangerous trees are being cleared, there has been a bit of arborist work in the area generally including the nearby tree mentioned in 'thenorthies' log below. I can see another deadish looking tree marked with a cross, so that too may be facing the chainsaw soon.
For now, the tree hosting the hide appears safe.
A beautiful day for a walk this afternoon - pic attached (not quite from final GZ) but looking across towards kunanyi with 3 black swans dwarfed in the water.

Hello from Toowoomba! Thanks for the Cache EeePees! Lovely to find it with said Cache Owner - Geodad - on this fine sunny day!! Geodad suspected this one had been muggled.... obviously didn’t have his glasses on as it was soon in hand!! Had to wait for muggles with their 4 legged friends to continue on their walk!
Today we set out to check in on our hides, and pick up a couple of nearby multicaches while we were at it. Fortunately our hides were in good order, so we had plenty of time spare to deal with the multis.
We'd previously had a couple of aborted attempts on this one, each called on account of weather and/or GPS issues. Today we finally had time and the weather on our side, and were able to track down the remaining waypoints.
Throughout the process we were hampered by a GPSr that wanted to take us hundreds of metres from whichever waypoint we were aiming at, but eventually we figured out a process that worked. It certainly helped that we're quite familiar with the area, and the remaining waypoints were quite conveniently clustered. A bit of wandering through the area and number crunching later, we finally had the final coordinates in hand, and then the cache itself.
Thanks for taking us on a interesting journey through one of our favourite areas! It definitely had us paying a bit more attention to our surroundings than we usually do when there.

Tassie Trip Day 77 - Toaday we traveled around the area trying to catch some more caches and see a few sights after which we shopped before going to the camp to prepare for our move day to burny island.
This was a very nice place to collect information and cache and we were blessed with a lovely day to enjoy the park in.
Thanks for this wonderful Multi EeePees & Ev

Did the leg work for this cache on Sunday but the final coordinates had us all at sea - literally. A few messages back and forth with the helpful CO had us on the right track and made a quick find on our way to Bruny Island on Monday morning.

Cache had been muggled again, so the final waypoint (cache location) has been changed, and a new container and log sheet has been hidden at that new location.
The listing has been updated to suit. Thanks

Seeing it was such a beautiful day we decided to head towards Margate to get this little multi that we hadn't noticed before. Getting to the cache was very interesting as there's lots of work going on before and around the entrance to this lovely park. Having to stop for roads work first of all then as we entered the gate more road works. We had to park and then walk back to the first WP which happens to be on the ground. Luckily all information was there and the sign was facing upwards. Then a pleasant walk to the next few WPs until we got all the relevant information. At GZ we nearly missed the find as it is well hidden and would be easily missed if you are not careful, but male membsec did the extra bit of effort to eventually put his hands on to the cache container.
TFTC EeePees & Ev, have been to this park before but hadn't visited the extra information sites before. One was very appropriate considering it is "Missing Person" week. A favourite point from us as it was a well organised multi in an interesting place.

Replaced container in new location (WP7), and amended listing/detail to match.
Container is now a Micro, a waterproof match case (green cylinder) with a pen and new logsheet. Sorry, no room for swaps or TBs.

This one has disappeared again, seems someone knows where it is and has a sistema fetish!
Temp disable the listing until I hide a replacement in a slightly different spot, soon.
Stay tuned. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello EeePees thank you for the cache.
At the start of the day I had no intentions of finding this one today but as the day developed I thought I would have a go and get it off my list.
As you know reading and writing isn't one of my strengths so I avoid doing multi caches by my self as I need to be very carful to read the question correctly and then wright the right answer down correctly. Strangely enough I'll find an error quickly.
At the way points I found the information and carefully wrote in down and then entered the cords into the GPS. This went well except for three time where I entered the wrong numbers and had way points on the wrong side of the bay but they were fixed before I moved on.
At the last way point I sat and calculated the final location and headed off in the direction you suggested but the cords I had wanted me to go to the edge of the water, at this point I looked ta the hint and soon found a spot that fitted the hint but there wasn't any thing there.
My first thought was that I had miss read the formula or entered the wrong cords so I went hack to the seat and had another go at working it out, but came up with the same answer.
After having another look for another spot that might resemble the hint I was convinced it had gone, this is when I rang you.
Thanks for coming down and confirming it had gone and allowing me to log it as a find any way.
This was an interesting multi but did enjoy doing it.

A very pleasant late afternoon/early evening stroll with Teen Cyclist.
Near GZ, we were a bit worried when we found some stones scattered near a tree, but it turned out we weren't quite in the right place, and the cache was soon found.
Thanks.

This was our last full day in Tassie and thought we would try our first multi-cache. We enjoyed finding all 6 waypoints and learning the local history along the way. Unfortunately we had no luck finding the cache. We're quite sure we were in the right spot with use of the hint, but alas, no find.
Gathered the necessary information after having a fun afternoon at the park. Cache took longer to find than should've, due to widening the search area at GZ in the wrong direction. TFTC. Took TB.
I love a good multi and looking for a souvenir today SSR and I chose this cache. We recorded the information carefully at each way point and double checked with each other as we went. As we progressed, we discussed an old cache that was hidden in this area but long since archived. I found the information interesting at each way point and although I have been here many, many times I never stopped to take in the details and history of the area until now.
We did move the car once to speed things up as the weather got cooler but on a warmer day would have happily walked the whole thing.
Dropped a Czech TB and SSR collected the Czech coin. Bit of a coincidence!
A favourite point from me as I really enjoy a good multi. TFTC

Needing a multi today and after looking round the map this was my nearest to home that neither myself or Goose had found so it was a nice drive down to this area again to start our search.
For once the weather was with me, as we walked towards the 3rd waypoint I commented that its always nice when you get to do a multi in the dry so you dont have to worry about all your notes getting wet
This 7 stage multi didn't take as long as I was thinking, we drove between only two of the waypoints and did the rest on foot.
The cache was in good condition (unsurprising since the CO looked in on it not long ago) I took the geocoin and Goose dropped one off.
Thanks for a great cache all the work put in shows and I enjoyed it no end.

We really enjoyed this multi. It brought us back to an area that we had visited some time ago and we were impressed as the developmental work that had been undertaken between our visits. The coordinates of each of the waypoints were accurate and the required data was obtained without any hassles. The coordinates of GZ were also accurate and led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks EeePees for an interesting multi.
As this one is close by home, picked this one up while out on bikes with GeoTeen G. TFTC.
After a delicious Mother’s Day lunch at Margate aus and deercheetah decided to look for this multi. We all really enjoyed walking to each of the informative waypoints and then finding the cache in this very scenic area. Thanks for the cache EeePees. We are adding it our Favourites List.
This was a perfect and very enjoyable multi for us to do on Mother's Day together. So after having lunch close by we came down and completed this multi. The story about DR put a smile on my face.
Thanks EeePees.
Thanks EeePees.
This is a great place for this kind of multi. It took me just under an hour so I am glad I had plenty of time. I'm sure it could be done much quicker with better preparation.
*FTF* at 0940. Wow a new cache still to find, loaded up the 2 grandsons, scooters and headed to this great park. Enjoyed the multi and we were rewarded with a first to find. Deserves a favourite. Thanks for the tour and a well constructed multi.
Hi EeePees
having found "Tickets Please" drove down and made the first WP a quick find. Information collected and utilised, it was a short walk to WP2. Again the info was amassed quickly and then of to the next WP. So it was for the remaining WPs.
Having gathered all info, the maths done; a quick find was had at WP7.
Signed the log and Sainted the cache at 1453hrs.
Walked the entire route and thoroughly enjoyed it as I did learning a little more of the area.
A great multi that gets a favourite point from me.
TFTC and cheers
