Finally, finally…. My last cache needed with a quad attribute for a challenge signed in Millicent’s, SA in April. I have had my eye on quad caches since, but with lockdown I haven’t been able to travel to required destinations across town. I only needed two more and so with The Welder and my two minis we headed out today to pick up targeted caches. Sadly though, one had gone missing and the other we managed to collect with some difficulty… but we were short, so across the city we head, again… With this cache in our sights! Even though it’s disabled, we can see from a previous log that it’s there and so off we headed… thanks for the cache!

Nice easy find after coming home from work.
The cache, container and log is surprisingly in excellent condition given it’s location.
We visited 4 TB.

A nice quiet lane behind a church and a popular Malaysian eatery! Super easy to find, thank you!
Found it!!! Easy find, clever spot. Cache is quite rusted though, so replacement may be needed.
Mrs frilk and I were on our isolation walk getting much needed exercise during these strange times. Although the skies were grey, the temperature on the cooler side, and the rain mildly persistent it was great to get some fresh air.
No luck today...next time...

Started off on the wrong side of the fence, then realised where I should be. TFTC
Since one was not enough on this auspicious day we extended our evening stroll a bit further and quickly found this one.
#1717 (catching up on my logging a month after the event). A p366 day to clear and passing through Bentleigh and thought this may be a good one to grab (since it was daylight). Took a walk down the alley and after a very quick search spotted the cache. TNlnsl. I visited a couple of TBs. (Divine’s art project and Hev’s secret) TFTC SKAD0407
Easy find in a potentially dodgy alleyway, fine enough during the day. Cache does blend in quite well. Tftc!
I was on my way to visit my Uncle for dinner and with a little extra time on my hand I thought I would check the map for a few caches while I was on route.
A quick walk from around the corner where i was parked I was soon at GZ where I was able to locate my prize after a short search
Thank you SKAD0407 for the hide

We initially made the mistake of going into Smith St, before realising, as the name suggests, that we needed to be in the "Alley way". Who would've thought?! The geocache was a little difficult to grab, so I left it standing on its thin side. Found with paratl and others. TFTC
Back in the area again hopefully to put a smile on the map.
After parking the car nearby and a short walk I soon had the log stamped.

Not quite the place I’d like to hang out with abandoned mattress and rubbish nearby. Thankfully found the Minty container quickly before going to get groceries nearby
I've not done much caching at night, in fact this could be my first. And, in truth, it was a bit creepy on my own in an alleyway in the dark. (Thank goodness for iPhone torches.) But I was determined to gather the final clue I needed to reach the next stage of the Museum Mystery challenge. So I stopped off here on my way home from elsewhere, and parked, and walked into the deserted lane... I was counting on this being an easy one, and it pretty much was. Although not as easy in the dark. I had to be very systematic in my search by phone-torch, while hoping no one came along. All good in the end. Found the cache. Signed the log. Gathered the final clue. It was a good excuse to grab this one, which isn't far from me. TFTC
Nice quick and easy find to continue on the detective quest.
Thanks to SKAD for the cache.

TFTC Skad0407. On way home from a wet & chilly day caching with the grandkids. Found with Jimmytherat & junior cachers Flopsy Bunny, Swanie & Rara on 11/7. Funny we were in the church hall on Sunday for 6 year old party & here we are again.
TFTC SKAD0407. Well hidden! Jimmytherat with Noelle04 and apprentice cachers Flopsybunny, RaRa and Swannie
Out with the geo kids picking up a few caches in the area.
Long narrow alleyway so we parked in the street and walked in.
Great little hidey spot.
Thank you for the cache SKAD0407

After a quick cup-o-joe at the nearby cafe, I wandered over to search for this cache. As I wandered along I kept picturing how this cache might be hidden. With audible voices coming from somewhere very, very close, it was so important to make this a quick find. As I stood there checking the coast was clear, I spied a very familiar shape tucked neatly away in a little nook. Well I didn't visualise that. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
And it’s a Trifecta on April Fools day 2019.. for Us.. geohub is becoming the retrieval specialist .. where Rosieknows won’t stick her fingers he shows no fear!!
Parked out on the main road and walked up to GZ, took a bit to find but it was obvious if you loooked in the right spot!
After leaving Tasmania yesterday and on my journey to South Australia, I had one day to spend in Melbourne before heading to Ballarat for the evening. A few caches were picked out for various reasons but mainly to pick up the remaining LGAs left close to the City. Most of the hides were in good condition and I had a few DNFs
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Out with Sinornithosaurus picking up a few more caches tonight, trying to find new areas and interesting caches. We set out hoping to find 14 so that Sinornithosaurus could reach the 200 cache milestone but we managed 6 caches in total and had heaps of fun while doing it, thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches! Visited some trackables, #403
Approached GZ with a torch and caution, as we didn't want to draw too much attention, found reasonably quickly and this happened to be the first for the night!! TFTC

Out to find some caches in this nice sunny weather I’m heading into the inner city suburbs today to meet up with some friends and I thought I’ll leave early and grab some caches along the way. Tftc.
Drove along the way in the dark and stopped. Got out and looked. Nothin obvious. No luck with the clue either. Then thought of all the Laneways in Melbourne and sang a little ditty a la Pink Floyd and next thing I know, the log is signed. CIGC TNLN TFTC. P.S. hint is a hinder.
Out and about with Echidn44 for a day of caching. After a couple of multi's we needed a couple of quicke's and we were lucky with this was one as it was the first place we looked. Thanks for the cache SKAD0407
Out with xambo4u, we made our way through the busy Friday afternoon traffic, and found a park. Walked in, to find the sneaky little hide. Thanks SKAD0407
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Caulfield area. Lovely weather today. Found it. TFTC
Working out in the garden preparing three new garden beds and then out to get a load of very good looking soil in the old ute.
I was going to spend Sunday shoveling soil but that all changed with a call from my very good caching mates the suscoe cachers.
Would I like to join with them on another trip to Melbourne to grab a few more caches as we have found most in and around Geelong.
Well how could you refuse an offer like that so here we are at this cache early on a Sunday morning.
Found a parking spot and wandered down the rocky lane for find what we were looking for fairly quickly.
Thanks SKAD0407 for placing this cache.

Suscoe decided that we should have a big Sunday drive today and so we prepared our tour of the local caches and got our good mate Bushfire along for the adventure with us.
We headed off bright and early, a cloudy start to the day but then approaching Melbourne the sun came out and for most of the day it continued to shine brightly on us. We got back home around 5:00 pm with a good collection of finds to record.
Thanks to SKAD0407 for this little hide in this little laneway.
A quick find and sign.
All good here today.

There was a nearby rubbish pile and I was worried I was about to go rubbish diving.
But then something a little sus caught my eye.

After we (lochb, G' of GJMMelb and I) negotiating the nearby roadworks we parked near the oval and walked back to GZ . Although she was having GPS problems - missing caches and then a device that kept shutting down - this proved an advantage to lochb as while we blinding followed our electronics past GZ she spotted the hinted hiding place and had extacted the cache before we knew it! TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. I was looking for a different type of hide here. L was more observant and found the cache. Thanks SKAD0407

I needed to go to the South Eastern suburbs to visit a couple of cemeteries, so I grab a few caches on the way around.
For some reason I thought the lane way would run north-south, not sure why.
Parked accidentally at one end.
A nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Dropped by early this morning just as someone was driving out. Thankfully, no one else appeared so I had the lane way to myself. The hint led me to a likely spot and I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks SKAD0407.
Could only see one place that this cache could be and there it was. Most lovely scent of boronia in the air but couldn't find the bush/tree. Thanks for the cache.

Left the Cookie Monsta out on the road and strolled past the beautiful smelling Boronia to this nicely concealed cache.
Thankyou SKAD0407 for placing this cache here for us to find.

I was early for a meeting this morning and such is the beauty of going to a new part of Melbourne - new caches. A quick find here and then over the big bump in the alley back to the main road. Great spot. Thanks to SKAD0407 for placing this cache.
... I don't even know where to begin. Two hours and five caches after beginning my quest for a daily cache, I am finally logging a found. Two I attempted were missing... Well.... Three, but the third one the entire GZ was missing... I can't even remember the deal with the fourth one.
So I asked Zedaycee which cache he and Tally Tiger had done that day and headed off here. Over half an hour later I arrive near the GZ. My mood by then is so bad, that when I miss the turnoff I just want to cry. Then, I can't find the access point to the GZ... My mood is deteriorating even further.
By this time I'm not going to be on time for training, as I still have to find the cache and then drive home. I started at 4pm and didn't walk in the door until 6.15 despite how easy this cache was... Well, with training starting at 6.30, it was time to have dinner instead and rant about the loony team member who decided that we should do a year long streak.

It was raining terribly when we left home to get this cache but at the GZ It was bone dry and sunny. Weird Melbourne weather... We were only 10 mins away by car. TFTC
A fantastic little hide, you would think the spot was made for the container. If this was the level of your first hide, I'll have to find others! Thanks for the cache!
Walked right past this alleyway so had to backtrack to find it. Once at GZ, cache was an easy find, which was a relief after 2 DNFs and one long search. TFTC
I looked nearby and couldn't see anything.
Then I moved along a bit. Still nothing.
Headed back and spotted the camo.
Nicely hidden.
Well done SKAD0407

After visiting mother in the Holmesglen hospital headed off for a stroll to track down some local caches. A nice easy find.. thanks..!!
We attended this event today at 5:40pm as number 22 of 23 on our Australia Day Elsternwick and Around Tour. Took a walk down the lane. Thankfully a great hint otherwise this one would have taken some locating. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found this cache after taking a walk from the more distant entry point (of course!) and then standing back and looking very carefully as to where it might be. Spotted the cache indicator quickly and found the cache hiding there. An easy find in a quiet location. Thanks to SKAD0407 for a nicely hidden cache.
Having found a couple of caches that have cropped up near home I took the opportunity to clean this up in order try widen the clear area, TFTC
Getting better at trusting my gut and not just the GPS! Found it geopup on our walk on the hottest day ever. TFTC!
Awesome little hide - out for a stroll on a balmy night and came past this one. Took a second in the dark but luckily the hint stopped me putting my hand into spider webs... TFTC
