We escaped for a long weekend and headed west first stop Mathoura. Stayed at the Bowling Club- great spot. Thoroughly searched in between muggle visits- its a busy spot today. Took a while but we had a feeling we were on the right track and we were! Thanks gregandjudi for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment. #2373
On our travels we found ourselves heading to Echuca and took the opportunity to grab this cache after a few laps around geo buddy had this tricky hide in hand, a nice new log to put my mark, thanks for placing it
We bailed out of the Victorian Cache Crawl at Tatura and headed back to Echuca to enjoy a more leisurely tour around town and over the border in NSW, exploring where the caches took us to.It was like old times returning to Mathoura as this used to be to be a holiday destination as a kid on our way to Picnic Point every year to camp beside the Murray. As we toured the town we picked up the woodcutters cache and added our team name to the wet log. Thanks gregandjudi for the placement.
We nearly gave up. Persevered and we found it. We were on the right track with what we were trying to just had to keep trying more. Tftc
took a little while bc we thought it was part of the sculpture, TFTC! log book is still a little hard to get out though
On a drive from Ballarat to Griffith, we looked for a ehile No dice today. Will add to my DNF list for another day
With dot558 on trip to Deniliquin Nearly gave up but it moved upon seeingThanks for a cache that tested us
TFTC A nice little hide, but very obvious against the background when it is spotted. Everything is perfect at this cache.
Suscoe decided to head up towards Mathoura this afternoon for a few cache finds along the way.It was a delightful day and we enjoyed the trip.Lots of interesting countryside to see and we found a few caches as we went. Thanks to gregandjudi for this hide.A nice place to have a spell and find a cache.Lots of lemons on a table for travellers to take for free.
This could have been a nightmare but luckily it was a rapid find.Pretty quiet in town this morning but this little park was a nice spot to walk the dog.Up to Deniliquin later but this little town held my attention for now...
Passing through with geo van in tow and found your cache along the way.Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition. Many thanks for your cache placement.
An extremely detailed piece of art.Thought I would be searching longer than I was for this one.The prize was quickly in hand!TFTC
After a long search and about to give up we finally located the cache. Could not get log out. Very tricky cache. Thanks

Travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually, hopefully
passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel. Hoping to get to Mathoura this afternoon before heading on in the morning.
A nice quick find today.
Log was dry and came out easily
**Thanks for placing this cache gregandjudi**

Stopped here for a cuppa. An interesting sculpture, great information... and a cache as well. TFTC
Hello gregandjudi thank you for the cache
The magnet has come lose from cache.
Didn't take too long to find.

After the CITO in Shepparton last night and an early morning swim in the Campaspe River then a 7am event, it was off on a day of LGA exploring in NSW. Having not cached or explored much over the border, today was the day for it.
This one took way longer than hoped also. I found a magnet early on but no cache attached. I eventually found the cache in a totally different spot, but there is no signable log in it any more. I reunited the magnet with the cache where I found it. But I suspect this is not the original hide location (I suspect that was meant to be where I found the magnet).
Thanks gregandjudi for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Finally knocked this one off our to do list. No muggles in sight and a fairly quick find. Unable to sign log or replace log sheet as unable to get log sheet out. TFTC
The problem last time was that I did not widen the search…upwards. Tftc. Log is water damaged and is in there but structural integrity of the paper has been compromised. I can attach a photo by if would be a spoiler. Tftc.
Found easily enough when area is deserted like it is now at 7pm.Tried to remove log but only succeeded in getting half out in small pieces. Can send Co a photo if needed.
I’m off on my annual 6 week adventure and it is back to Outback Queensland to finish off what I started last time but got interrupted along the way.
It is nice and quiet on the roads heading up here and I called in here to stretch the legs and to hopefully turn that frown upside down as I have muggled out at this location twice before.
This is a great sculpture and a great use of the materials also.
So the search began and I looked high and low and everywhere in between and I eventually spotted the sneaky cache.
The log has been jammed in tight to let me add my name to the log.
Thanks gregandjudi TFTFC

Stopped for a coffee and a visit to the butcher. Had hoped for some freshly made savs but they weren’t ready yet. Great sculpture and town history TFTC. Didn’t pull the log out but all intact. Very clever.
Tftc gregandjudi, very nice stopping point with this sculpture and the mosaics,
Cache in good condition

Found in the dark, not far from our camp for the night.
The holding device of the container is a bit wobbly, a small dollop of glue should help.
Thanks for the cache!

Enjoying a trip to Deni with Cybergran V on a glorious Autumn day. Loved this rest stop with it's sculptures and murals, well worth a visit. Thank you gregandjudi for a well hidden cache.
A beautiful sunny day, too nice to be indoors.
As if I would refuse the opportunity to go geocaching with the delightful Catnap777 who very quickly located this cache.
Thanks Gregandjudi for this stop.

After a DNF here in 2018, we returned today to turn this frown upside down. Chunk spotted the cache quickly and was signing the log by the time Chook had walked over to the sculpture, and we were soon on our way. Found on the way to Dayboro for the mega. TFTC gregandjudi.
Found quickly but needed to retreat to the car to get a log extraction device. TFTC
Alas after an extensive search we must add our name to this ever increasing list of DNF's
West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 9. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Distance wise today was short, but we spent the day in South NSW between Deniliquin and Finley via Moama.
We spent way too long looking here. I hope it has survived.
Thanks.

Adding our DNF to the list. Spent quite a bit of time here but no luck. Maybe next time !
Now the restrictions are eased, putting caches back on line.
Enjoy, and remember to sanitise regularly.

A drive out to Mathoura found us at this cache. A great little hide here and mug”e hubby soon had it in hand. A fav point added. Great sculptures around.
Brought geo family here and this has us all stumped! I drive past here almost daily so would love to solve it.
Hard to know if you've found it or not. Thought I had, even said so, but gave up and looked everywhere else. Then MrG says he's found something..... same thing, the cache! [xx(] TFTC gregandjudi
Day 6 of our journey from Innes Park Qld to st Arnaud. Early start this morning as we need to be in st Arnaud by 4pm at the latest. Loved the drive from hay to St Arnaud. Thought i knew what I would be looking for here. Quick find. Signed log in position with my YOF. TFTC
Staying in Echuca for a few days and decided to do some caching across the border. Muggle hubby found this one, he said this doesn't look right, lucky we had a tool in the car . Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc
Another great day on our one-year tripp around Australia. We love to travel in this country and we love to look for geocaches. This geocache has again shown us a place that we might not have visited without geocache.
Thank you for the geocache !
Greetings from Switzerland.
Now on the way to the MEGA in St. Arnoud.

TFTC. We had left Hillston this morning heading for Hay, but changed our mind and went further to Echuca. Along the way we stopped to stretch our legs and find a couple of caches.
Loved the sculpture of the woodcutters at this location. Spotted the hide quickly but it was a effort to retrieve the log.

That is the best hi I have ever seen absolutely loved it thought I was doing something wrong for a while there but eventually figured it out thank you very very much for bringing us to the spot and giving us this cache
Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks gregandjudi (F=3661 H=116) for the cache.

We are heading up to Blackall for the Queensland Geocaching Muster. Unfortunately we couldn't leave until today so there isn't a lot of time for caching along the way so we are only grabbing ones relatively close to the road.
After a DNF here heading to last years Geomuster due to muggle intervention we were quite happy when we pulled up today to find no one in the area and also had far better luck. We located the cache in the third place we looked but it proved to be a little bit more problematic than expected to add our name to the log but we managed to get there in the end.
We don't give many favourite to micro caches but we make an exception for this one, well done.
Thanks greagandjudi for a fun cache.

Very clever and well hidden cache. Dry and secure. Left as found. Thank you for the adventure.
#3570 Travelling today from Bendigo to Griffith, this cache was on our way with Alex and Todd. I saw the cache, even touched it, but moved on... Todd comes over and nails the find. Well done. Fairly strongly attached. Signed log and replaced as found. TFBUH.
After staying in Hay last night, we continued our journey southward with ilook4geo. The day contained a mix of traditional and multi caches which were chosen to represent the areas that we travelled through today. Each found log had two more name added to indicate our visit. All was replaced as it had been found before we moved on.
Our thanks go to gregandjudi for this cache placement. It was quite a tricky hide to locate, especially with a muggle sitting at the nearby table, so we exercised a lot of caution in both finding and replacing.

While out caching today with goingplaces2 we found some multi caches, some traditionals and a virtual cache. All were completed and then we moved on. Logs were signed, all were in good nick. This was one of our finds and it was a difficult, tricky one. TFTC.
Found with AnyMules and locus cache on what was supposed to be a quick visit to Deniliquin.
(see locus cache's log for the sordid details of our "flying visit" that ultimately saw me hitch hiking home) [:o]
A ripper hide in a location that deserves a cache.
Without experience that could have taken a whole lot longer to find.
It had a soggy log but as AnyMules noted, we fixed that. [8)]
TFTC gregandjudi.

What was supposed to have been a quick day trip to Deniliquin to find a multi [^] that I had DNFd previously on a trip with the georents and geobro ended up being a 3 day nightmare[xx(] for me which will have long term consequences for Harry [xx(]
AnyMules had arrived in Shepparton the day before and so it was decided that dalerious would join Rex and I and we'd head to Deni in both cars [^] Then AnyMules would continue on to SA after spending the night in Deni and the rest of us would return to Shepp [^]
So we cached through Echuca, Moama, Mathoura and out to Deniliquin
Despite having a staked tyre[xx(] on a bloody good, clean albeit a tad sandy in places dirt road, before I even made a cache find the day was still fine right up until dalerious and I stopped at the Deni Ute Muster site to find the multi! [xx(] What I thought was water or oil under Harry was battery acid as the battery had slid onto the belt pulley which had sliced through my 6 week old battery like a hot knife through butter [xx(]
(That's what I get for having the radiator repaired only 2 days earlier![:(!])
The NRMA came out and escorted us into Deni and then it was fight the motel owner time as he wasn't going to let Rex into the room as he was legally required to and he didn't want Harry dripping acid on his concrete
Next morning a new battery was installed [^] and then it was head to Shepp time again.... except Harry died [xx(][xx(] and this time the NRMA just sent a tow truck! [xx(] Apparently the NRMA Moama depot is actually in Echuca and so Harry was towed to Echuca.. where it was a public holiday and I therefore had to spend another night in a hotel as he couldn't be looked at until Tuesday
dalerious had work on the PH Monday and so he hitch hiked back to Shepp and luckily made it safely to work with 15 mins to spare
On the Tuesday, Harry was finally ready after some fuel filter sensor dodgy stuff so Rex and I had to ensure he was ok by driving him so we then came home through Barooga way to snaffle a FTF in a nice riverside area [^]
11 caches found over 3 days is almost enough explanation in itself of the hours where doing nothing was enforced rather than being a choice This cache was found with AnyMules and dalerious
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

A nearly little hide, but I spited something out of the ordinary. A bit of a twist and slide and I had the cache in hand.
The log was pretty mush and stuck in the container. Locus_cache did her best to remove it with some tweezers, but it al fell apart.
We grabbed a new Nano log book from the back of the locus-mobile and added it to the cache.
Thanks for the cache gregandjudi.

Didn't find this one on our road trip stop with Sunsong1. Nice park glad we stopped here, better luck next time when it is not so hot.
Terrific sculpture, but unfortunately no cache find for me here, maybe another time I will have more luck
Very tricky hide. Hint is important. Very nice Geocache. Love the sculptures reminds us of some of the old Nintendo game and watch characters. Found it within 5 mins. Experience helps finding this one. Thanks
Half the team was heading up to Barcaldine for the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster and of course picking up some caches along the way. We are now catching up on our late logs.
Unfortunately all I could do here was enjoy the sculptures as there were a family doing the same.
Next time.
