No luck today.
I had a couple of hunts, both unsuccessful today.

It was a really really tricky one. Like they said, you'll need gum boots in winter for this one.
Found with wanderclare. 3rd time lucky for this one. A tricky one for us but glad to tick it off.
Second attempt at this one and got it with help from Kaz53. Awesome camp and hide. Thanks.
I was visiting a friend in Red Beach and as this park wasn't too far away I thought I'd come for a walk. Thankfully I managed to not get wet feet here and a quick find thanks to the hint
Found. Awkward to get to now it's a wetland. Suggestion to the owner... maybe make it under 8 for better access
Took a while but I’m a bit rusty. Went back to the hint and it was quick and somewhat muddy find
This one took us a few minutes to find but eventually made sense of the clue. TFTC
Spent many minutes on and under the bridge, but for no success. Couldn't decipher the hint either.
Tau kē!!!
Nice find for Team #Troph.

I decided to head out and grab at least some of the caches in this lovely but unnamed park with number 4 being the main target. Parked near to number 5 and started off in reverse order given the recent DNFs on the early ones.
After my success at the first two decided to continue on and have a brief look at the others. I spent a while looking around and under the bridge and in the end had a final go following the hint and found it by touch rather than sight as I didn't want to get my feet wet! TFTC.

We looked pretty carefully under this structure for all the possible hiding places and found nothing. We counted 10 big ones and 10 little ones and still found nothing.
The area is fenced off with construction, will re-enable once the area is open again
Had a lovely walk today after staying up last night for the festivities.
Thanks for the hint, all good.

This one had me stumped until I remembered a similar cache found two years ago in Christchurch - then I took no time at all to find it at 1535Hr on 31 October 2017
Despite the bad looking weather decided to head out to Orewa and Whangaparaoa today with Aiden29 as we needed to pick up a purchase. Fortunately MrsJag50 had widened her search and soon spotted the elusive cache
Out and about with Jag50 in the area. We searched high and low for this one, back and forth along the boggy ground. Mrs Jag finally located it further along from where we were focussing our attention.
Was out and about today and thought of adding more similes to my map .I walked on over to the park and started searching. After 15 minutes of searching and getting muddy along the way, I found the sneaky hide . Thanks for the cache KristTim . TFTC!!!
Found with Tufty on a fairly damp day for it. Fortunately we weren't carried off in the raging torrent
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is eight. Coldstream accompanied me on my little mission today to fill my quota. Luckily the rain eased and then stopped while we were caching.
Cheers for the cache.

A beautiful day for geocaching. We found the geocaches quick. TFTC Greetings from two girls from Holland.

Found quite quickly once we decided to stop over-thinking it and looked in the obvious place!
Out and about for a spot of geocaching today. With the worst of the showers behind me now, the day is turning rather pleasant. I parked up at the end of Donald Street and made the short stroll to GZ. This one took a we while to track down. I had noted that the coordinates were out so was caching via the hint. Made the last PAF of the day which confirmed my interpretation of the hint. When it was still not forthcoming I expanded the search area once again. Got it this time. I think the cache may have creeped? I can confirm that the coordinates were some 14m out for me. Again, gum boots were a good choice under here today. Cheers for the cache placement!
Had a bit of a hunt to find this one - luckily the lady sitting on the bench not far away was just leaving as I got here. The co-ords were out for me as I discovered once I finally came across this hide! Before finding though I managed to slip walking down the bank for about the 3rd time ad instinctively grabbed at the bridge as my feet disappeared under me and ended up bruising my rib cache nicely against the bridge. Needless to say the ground was quite soggy today! Reread the description and had yet another look and finally found it. Wondered what the guy walking his dogs thought as I came up on the path behind him - he gave me a funny look as I had passed him going the other way before looking for this hide and he probably wondered where I had come from. Thanks KirsTim - quite the adventure!
We wanted to boost our find numbers for today so came up to Whangaparaoa this afternoon to do a few along this trail.
At this one our GPS was pointing a bit off from where we thought the cache would be, but we made a quick find with the hint. Thanks.

Thanks so much KirsTim for making a trip to check these out !
Met Mrs Team Welsh here today ; As it was her son who found it initially, she decided to come and help me and see it for herself !
Very close to home for her !
Thanks Tracey , she made the find in no time ....By the way I recommend gumboots for these stormwater bridges !
The bridges are very elaborate structures I must say !

Our closest unfound from home, Ryan was busy with uni when it was published so saved it for today to make it a Mothers Day find. Too hard for mum to find this one as it is soooooo close to school that everyone who walks past knows who she is so would stop and talk and nothing would be found even if the best stealth techniques were used. TFTC
How on earth did we miss this on the way there-went straight to it on the way back-tftc
Lovely day for a walk completed these caches, had to read the logs on few to get the find. TFTC
We knew that 2 new cache were published a couple of days ago in Whangaparoa but didn't rush out the door , knowing Team Welsh live nearby. Surprised to see they were still there this morning, so nothing for it other than to go out and collect them. Kiwiscot happy that her scooter could be used again. Off we went to hunt the cache. Once at GZ cache very quickly retrieved. Thanks for bringing us back here on a beautiful, sunny, school holiday morning. (FTF) & TFTC.
